It is only because of the efforts taken by BSNLEU, a Group Health Insurance Policy has been implemented by the BSNL Management, by signing a tie-up with the Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd. This scheme has already been implemented w.e.f. 01.05.2022. One of the good conditions of this Group Insurance Scheme is that, claim can be made from the very first day of it’s implementation. No waiting period. Accordingly, the first claim has been made by an employee of AP circle(we avoid mentioning the name). A claim for Rs.2,51,000/- has been made for the heart surgery of the employee’s father. BSNLEU heartily congratulates the employee who has made the first claim under the BSNL Group Health Insurance Policy. 

केनरा बैंक और यूनियन बैंक ऑफ इंडिया के साथ समझौता ज्ञापनों का नवीकरण न होना - BSNLEU ने फिर एक बार सीएमडी, बीएसएनएल को पत्र लिखा है ।

बीएसएनएल द्वारा केनरा बैंक और यूनियन बैंक ऑफ इंडिया के साथ हस्ताक्षरित समझौता ज्ञापन पहले ही समाप्त हो चुके है । एमओयू का नवीनीकरण नहीं होने के कारण कर्मचारियों को केनरा बैंक और यूनियन बैंक ऑफ इंडिया से विभिन्न लोन नहीं मिल रहे हैं। BSNLEU ने पहले ही बीएसएनएल के सीएमडी और निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) को पत्र लिखे थे और पहले ही उनके साथ इस मुद्दे पर चर्चा कर चुके थे। हालांकि एमओयू का नवीनीकरण नहीं हुआ है और कर्मचारियों को परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। इसलिए, BSNLEU ने आज एक बार फिर सीएमडी, बीएसएनएल को पत्र लिखकर तत्काल हस्तक्षेप करने के अनुरोध के साथ पत्र लिखा है। 

WFTU की 18 वीं कांग्रेस 06, 07 और 08 मई, 2022 को आयोजित हो रही है।

WFTU की 18 वीं कांग्रेस 06, 07 और 08 मई, 2022 को ऑनलाइन आयोजित हो रही है । साथी पी. अभिमन्यु, महासचिव, BSNLEU प्रतिनिधि के रूप में इस WFTU कांग्रेस में भाग ले रहे है। उपर्युक्त सभी तीन दिनों में, WFTU कांग्रेस का सत्र दोपहर 12:30 बजे से 09:30 बजे तक (भारतीय समय अनुसार) आयोजित किए जाएंगे।

The 18^th Congress of the WFTU is being held online on 06^th, 07^th & 08^th May, 2022. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, BSNLEU, is attending this WFTU Congress, as a delegate. On all the above mentioned three days, the sessions of the WFTU Congress will be held from 12:30 pm to 09:30 pm (Indian Standard Time).

The CHQ of BSNLEU had called on the circle and district unions to observe May Day by hoisting the Union Flag. Accordingly, May Day has been observed in many places by observing the hoisting of Union Flag.

An online May Day meeting was organised yesterday, by the K.G.Bose Memorial Trust. The topic of the meeting was “May Day and the tasks before the trade union movement today”. 227 number of comrades attended this online meeting. Com.Animesh Mitra, President, BSNLEU, presided. The meeting started at 7:15 pm. Com.P.Abhimanyu, General Secretary, BSNLEU, addressed the meeting. He spoke on the history of the movement conducted by the American working class, to achieve the goal of 8 hours’ work, 8 hours’ sleep and 8 hours’ entertainment. He also explained about the atrocities let loose on the workers,  by the American police at Hay Market, in Chicago, on 04th May, 1886 and praised the May Day martyrs, viz., Com.Parsons, Com.Engel Com. Spies and Com.Fischer, who were hanged for leading the struggle for 8 hours working day. The General Secretary told that, the pro-corporate policies of the government are resulting in concentration of wealth in the hands of the corporates and impoverishment of the working class. He concluded by saying that, an end should be put to the capitalist system, to liberate the working people from exploitation.

साथी ए. बाबूराधाकृष्णन सेवानिवृत्त हुए ।

तमिलनाडु सर्कल के सर्कल सचिव रहे  साथी ए.  बाबू राधाकृष्णन आज सेवानिवृत्ति पर सेवा से सेवानिवृत्त हो रहे हैं। उन्होंने 1987 में कुन्नूर में एक क्लर्क के रूप में ड्यूटी ज्वाइन की और 1998 में नीलगिरी जिले के जिला सचिव बने। साथी ए. बाबूराधाकृष्णन, सभी संघर्षों में सबसे आगे खड़े थे। वह 2014 में BSNLEU, तमिलनाडु के सर्कल सचिव बने और पिछले महीने तक इस पद पर बने रहे। वर्तमान में, वह तमिलनाडु के सर्कल अध्यक्ष हैं। CHQ दिल से साथी ए. बाबूराधाकृष्णन की सराहना करता है और उनके सभी मूल्यवान योगदानों के लिए और उनकी सेवानिवृत्ति के अवसर पर उन्हें बधाई देता हैं।
