The Management continues to hit the employees below the belt, by not paying the salary on the due date. This cannot be allowed. BSNLEU has given call for lunch hour demonstrations to be organised tomorrow the 05-02-2021. BSNLEU is also planning to organise more serious forms of struggles, to compel the Management, to pay the salary on the due date of every month. Hence, the CHQ calls on all the circle and district unions to mobilise maximum number of comrades in tomorrow's lunch hour demonstrations.

The prices of petrol and diesel are being continuously raised by the government. The increase in the price of diesel results in the increase in the prices of all essential commodities. The common man is thus, badly affected by this. The government cheats the people, by saying that, the price of crude oil is increasing in the international market, which is resulting in the hike of petrol and diesel prices. In that case, how petrol and diesel are cheaper in all our neighbouring countries? Dr.Subramanian Swamy, an MP of the ruling BJP has also criticised the government in his own way. He has made a sarcastic comment, by stating that, petrol price is Rs.93/- in Ram's India, and the same is Rs.51/- in Ravan's Sri Lanka. He has also stated that the price of petrol in Sita's Nepal is only Rs. 51/- per litre. Dr. Subramanian Swamy has exposed how the Modi led BJP government is looting the people, by increasing taxes on petrol and diesel.

In a letter addressed to Shri P.K Purwar, CMD BSNL, on 28-01-2021, BSNLEU had openly accused that, the BSNL Management had totally failed to take steps to improve the financial health of the Company, by utilising the opportunities provided by the government. Now, SNEA, the association of the Executives, has accused that, the BSNL Management lacks the professionalism in reviving the Company. In a letter addressed to Shri P.K Purwar, CMD BSNL, the SNEA has accused that, the BSNL Management has failed to roll out 4G, through the upgradation of existing networks, without further investment. The SNEA has also stated that, this failure has put a question mark on the company’s progress, even a year after implementing the VRS. On the one hand, the government is taking all out efforts to defeat the farmers’ agitation. However, on the other hand, the farmers’ agitation is gaining strength. Support is growing swiftly for the ongoing farmers’ agitation in Haryana, with a large number of farmers turning up at  dharna sites at Toll Plazas on the National Highways on Tuesday. At the Landhdi toll plaza, on Hisar-Sirsa National High Way, near Hisar, thousands of farmers vowed to wage a long battle against the three Farm Laws that they described as anti-farmer. A large number of women are also participating in the agitation.

नॉन एग्जीक्यूटिव्ज की GTI को ले कर बार बार पूछे जाने वाले प्रश्न...

नॉन एग्जीक्यूटिव्ज के लिए लागू होने वाली GTI के संबंध में कर्मचारियों द्वारा क्वेरीज (प्रश्न) की जा रही है। कॉम पी अभिमन्यु, जीएस द्वारा इन मुद्दों पर श्री ए एम गुप्ता, Sr.GM(SR), जो कि LIC प्रबंधन से योजना के संबंध में विमर्श करने हेतु गठित BSNL ऑफिसर्स की समिति के एक सदस्य हैं, से चर्चा की गई। विभिन्न क्वेरीज के संबंध में उनके द्वारा दिए गए जवाब निम्नानुसार है।

क्वेरी क्र.1: -   योजना के अनुसार, 50 वर्ष की आयु सीमा तक नॉन एग्जीक्यूटिव्ज के लिए वार्षिक प्रीमियम रु 3,776/- होगा। नॉन एग्जीक्यूटिव की उम्र 50 वर्ष पार हो जाने पर क्या उनके वार्षिक प्रीमियम में परिवर्तन होगा ?

जवाब: -  नही। 50 वर्ष की आयु पार करने के बाद भी वार्षिक प्रीमियम वही रहेगा।

क्वेरी क्र.2: -  GTI योजना में शामिल होते समय, नॉन एग्जीक्यूटिव के लिए बीमित राशि (sum assured) रु 20 लाख रहेगी। उक्त नॉन एग्जीक्यूटिव की पदोन्नति एग्जीक्यूटिव के रूप में हो जाने पर, उनके लिए बीमित राशि (sum assured) क्या रहेगी ?
 
जवाब : -  नॉन एग्जीक्यूटिव की पदोन्नति एग्जीक्यूटिव के रूप में होने पर वें एग्जीक्यूटिव्ज की GTI योजना में शामिल हो सकते हैं। ऐसी स्थिति में उनकी बीमित राशि (sum assured) बढ़ कर रु 50 लाख हो जाएगी। इस हेतु अपना विकल्प (ऑप्शन) फरवरी माह में दिया जा सकता है।

As a result of the continuous efforts taken by BSNLEU, the GTI scheme for the Non-Executives is getting implemented. The last date for submitting the option is 15th February, 2021. The premium for this scheme is low, compared with other GTIs available in the market. This has become possible only because, BSNL is a very big corporate customer of the LIC. The annual premium even for the Non-Executives, above 50 years is only Rs.18,172/-. This amount is low compared to the assured amount of Rs.20 lakh. Hence, BSNLEU requests all the circle and district secretaries to take the initiative to ensure that all the Non-Executives join this scheme.

Some queries are being asked regarding the GTI scheme being implemented for the Non-Executives. Com.P.Abhimanyu,GS, discussed these issues with Shri A.M. Gupta, Sr.GM(SR), who is one of the members of the Committee of BSNL officers which negotiated the scheme with the LIC management. His replies to the queries are given below :- 

 

Query No.(1) – As per the scheme, the annual premium for a Non-Executive up to 50 years of age will be Rs.3,776/-. After a Non-Executive crosses the age of 50 years, whether his/her annual premium will change.

 

Reply:   -     No. Even after crossing 50 years of age, the annual premium will remain the same.

 

Query No.(2) – At the time of joining the GTI scheme, the sum assured for a Non-Executive will be Rs.20 lakh. If this Non-Executive gets promoted as an Executive, what will be the sum assured for him/her ?

 

Reply: -    If a Non-Executive is promoted as an Executive, he/she can join the GTI of the Executives and his / her sum assured will increase to Rs.50 lakh. The option for this can be given in February of year.

"संविधान के अनुच्छेद 21 में निहित है कि वेतन प्राप्ति मौलिक अधिकार है और वेतन भुगतान न करने हेतु फंड्स की कमी का बहाना नही बनाया जा सकता है-" माननीय दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय के जजमेंट का उल्लेख करते हुए महासचिव का CMD BSNL को पत्र...

महासचिव द्वारा, समय पर वेतन भुगतान की मांग करते हुए,  05.02.2021 को  भोजन अवकाश में प्रदर्शन करने के  BSNLEU के निर्णय बाबद सूचित करते हुए CMD BSNL को पत्र लिखा गया है। उस पत्र में, महासचिव ने माननीय दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय के हालिया जजमेंट का उल्लेख किया है। माननीय दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय ने कहा है कि "संविधान के अनुच्छेद 21 में निहित है कि वेतन प्राप्ति मौलिक अधिकार है और वेतन भुगतान न करने हेतु फंड्स की कमी का बहाना नही बनाया जा सकता है।"
