BSNLEU is continuously demanding that, the TSMs who were directly promoted as Telecom Technicians, should be issued with Presidential Orders. These employees have directly become Telecom Technicians from Temporary Status Mazdoors. There are around 400 such employees in BSNL. BSNLEU has taken up this issue early also, but the DoT had rejected the same. Once again BSNLEU has written letter to the Director (HR), demanding to take up the issue at the Secretary level. Today, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, and Com.John Verghese, Dy.GS, discuss this issue with Shri Arvind Vadnerkar, Director (HR) today. BSNLEU demanded that, the issue should once again be taken up afresh at the level of the Secretary, Telecom. The Director (HR) assured to do the needful.

ओरिएंटल इंश्योरेंस कंपनी लिमिटेड की समूह स्वास्थ्य बीमा योजना में शामिल होने के लिए विकल्प प्रस्तुत करने के लिए दूसरा विंडो खोला गया है ।

सभी जानते हैं कि ओरिएंटल इंश्योरेंस कंपनी लिमिटेड के साथ करार करते हुए एक समूह स्वास्थ्य बीमा योजना दिनांक 01-05-2022 से बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों के लिए पहले ही लागू की जा चुकी है। अब प्रबंधन ने उन कर्मचारियों द्वारा विकल्प प्रस्तुत करने के लिए दूसरा विंडो खोल दीया है, जो इस समूह स्वास्थ्य बीमा योजना में शामिल होने के इच्छुक हैं। *विंडो 11.05.2022 से 18.05.2022 तक खुली रहेगी*। एक बार विकल्प सबमिट किए जाने के बाद विकल्प को वापस लेने का कोई प्रावधान नहीं है। 11 महीने के प्रीमियम को मई-2022 के वेतन से काटा जाएगा और पॉलिसी को 01.06.2022 से 30.04.2023 (11 महीने) तक लागू किया जाएगा। इच्छुक कर्मचारी जो समूह स्वास्थ्य बीमा योजना में शामिल नहीं हुए हैं, अब अपना विकल्प दे सकते हैं। 

All are aware that, a Group Health Insurance Scheme, in tie-up with Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd., has already been implemented for BSNL employees w.e.f. 01.05.2022. Now, the Management has opened the 2^nd window for submitting options by employees, who are willing to join this Group Health Insurance Scheme. The window will remain open from 11.05.2022 to 18.05.2022. There is no provision to withdraw the option, once it is submitted. The premium for 11 months shall be deducted from the salary of May, 2022 and the policy will be implemented from 01.06.2022 to 30.04.2023 (11 months). Willing employees, who have not joined the Group Health Insurance Scheme, can now give their option.

The 18^th Congress of the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) started at 12:30 pm (IST) today. This 4 day Congress is taking place at Rome, with the physical participation of only a limited number delegates, due to COVID-19. The remaining delegates are participating in this Congress online. Com.P.Abhimanyu,GS,BSNLEU, is participating online. The Congress started with the singing of the WFTU anthem. A minute’s silence is observed, to pay homage to the departed comrades.

Com.Mzwandile Makwayiba, president, WFTU, delivered a powerful presidential address, highlighting how the workers are being exploited worldwide, by the capitalists. The congress is continuing with leaders from various countries delivering their speech.

कल्याण बोर्ड-Welfare Board और खेल और सांस्कृतिक बोर्ड-Sports & Cultural Board की बैठकें तुरंत आयोजित करें :- BSNLEU ने मांग की है ।

कल्याण बोर्ड की बैठक, साथ ही खेल और सांस्कृतिक बोर्ड की बैठक, कई वर्षों से आयोजित नहीं की जा रही है। यह केवल BSNLEU द्वारा दिए गए दबाव के कारण है कि कल्याण बोर्ड के साथ-साथ खेल और सांस्कृतिक बोर्ड दोनों का पुनर्गठन किया गया था। हालांकि, बैठकें अभी तक आयोजित नहीं की गई हैं। महासचिव साथी पी. अभिमन्यु और उप महासचिव साथी जॉन वर्गिस ने श्री एस पी सिंह, जनरल मेनेजर, (एडमिन) के साथ आज बैठक के दौरान पुरजोर मांग की कि कल्याण बोर्ड के साथ-साथ खेल और सांस्कृतिक बोर्ड की बैठकें बिना किसी देरी के आयोजित की जानी चाहिए। जनरल मेनेजर, (एडमिन) ने इस संबंध में आवश्यक कार्रवाई शुरू करने का आश्वासन दिया। 

स्पोर्ट्स पर्सोनेल के व्यावसायिक प्रगति-Career Progression को ठंडे बक्से में रखा गया है । BSNLEU ने जनरल मेनेजर (एडमिन), बीएसएनएल कोरपोरेट ओफिस के साथ चर्चा की।

बीएसएनएल के स्पोर्ट्स पर्सोनेल की व्यावसायिक प्रगति को कारपोरेट प्रबंधन द्वारा ठंडे बक्से में रखा गया है। विभिन्न सर्किल प्रशासनों द्वारा भेजे गए प्रस्तावों पर कोई कार्रवाई नहीं की गई है। इससे स्पोर्ट्स कोटा के तहत भर्ती किए गए कर्मचारियों में हताशा पैदा हो रही है। महासचिव साथी पी. अभिमन्यु और उप महासचिव साथी जॉन वर्गिस ने आज बीएसएनएल कोरपोरेट ओफिस के जनरल मेनेजर, (एडमिन) श्री एस पी सिंह से मुलाकात की और इस मुद्दे पर चर्चा की। जनरल मेनेजर (एडमिन) ने बताया कि कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय में एक समिति का गठन किया गया है जो नए व्यावसायिक प्रगति दिशानिर्देशों को लागू करेगी । हमारे नेताओं ने पहले से मौजूद कैरियर प्रगति प्रणाली को लागू नहीं करने के लिए अपनी चिंता व्यक्त की जिसके परिणामस्वरूप कई योग्य उम्मीदवारों को नुकसान हुआ है। उन्होंने मांग की कि प्रबंधन को प्रस्तावित नए दिशानिर्देशों पर कोई अंतिम निर्णय लेने से पहले मान्यता प्राप्त ट्रेड यूनियनों से परामर्श करना चाहिए।    

BSNLEU उस कर्मचारी को दिल से बधाई देता है जिसने बीएसएनएल समूह स्वास्थ्य बीमा पॉलिसी के तहत पहला दावा किया है।  

यह केवल BSNLEU द्वारा किए गए प्रयासों के कारण है, बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन द्वारा ओरिएंटल इंश्योरेंस कंपनी लिमिटेड के साथ एक समज़ोते पर हस्ताक्षर करके समूह स्वास्थ्य बीमा पॉलिसी कार्यान्वित की गई है। यह योजना 01.05.2022 से लागू की जा चुकी है। इस समूह बीमा योजना की अच्छी शर्तों में से एक यह है कि इसके कार्यान्वयन के पहले ही दिन से दावा किया जा सकता है। कोई प्रतीक्षा अवधि नहीं है। तदनुसार, पहला दावा आंध्र प्रदेश सर्कल के एक कर्मचारी द्वारा किया गया है (हम नाम नहीं दे रहे हैं)। कर्मचारी के पिता के हार्ट सर्जरी के लिए 2,51,000 रुपये का क्लेम किया गया है। BSNLEU उस कर्मचारी को दिल से बधाई देता है जिसने बीएसएनएल समूह स्वास्थ्य बीमा पॉलिसी के तहत पहला दावा किया है।  

The Career Progression of BSNL’s sports personnel is kept in the cold storage by the Corporate Management. No action has been taken on the proposals sent by various circle administrations. This is creating frustration among the employees recruited under Sports Quota. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS and Com.John Verghese, Dy.GS, met Shri S.P. Singh, GM(Admn.), BSNL CO., today and discussed this issue. The GM(Admn.) reported that a committee has been formed in the Corporate Office, to put in place the new Career Progression guidelines. The leaders expressed their concern for not implementing the already existing Career Progression system, which has resulted in loss to many deserving candidates. They demanded that, the Management should consult the Recognised Trade Unions before taking any final decision on the proposed new guidelines. 

The Welfare Board meeting, as well as the Sports & Cultural Board meeting, are not held for many years. It is only because of the pressure given by BSNLEU, that both the Welfare Board, as well as the Sports & Cultural Board were reconstituted. However, the meetings are not conducted yet. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS and Com.John Verghese, Dy.GS, during their meeting with the Shri S.P.Singh, GM(Admn.) today, strongly demanded that, the meetings of the Welfare Board, as well as the Sports & Cultural Board should be conducted without further delay. The GM(Admn.) assured to initiate necessary action in this regard.
