It is only because of the efforts taken by BSNLEU, a Group Health Insurance Policy has been implemented by the BSNL Management, by signing a tie-up with the Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd. This scheme has already been implemented w.e.f. 01.05.2022. One of the good conditions of this Group Insurance Scheme is that, claim can be made from the very first day of it’s implementation. No waiting period. Accordingly, the first claim has been made by an employee of AP circle(we avoid mentioning the name). A claim for Rs.2,51,000/- has been made for the heart surgery of the employee’s father.
