The Tamil Nadu circle union and Chennai Telephones circle union have brought to the notice of the CHQ that, the 8 candidates of Tamil Nadu circle and 14 candidates of Chennai Telephones circle have been allotted with seats at ALTTC, Ghaziabad, for their JTO Phase-I training. ALTTC, Ghaziabad is a far away place and the candidates from Tamil Nadu and Chennai Telephones circle will suffer a lot, if they are compelled to undergo JTO Phase-I training there. The CHQ of BSNLEU took up this issue with the GM(Rectt.), Corporate Office. The GM(Rectt.) has acted immediately and now training is re-arranged for the Tamil Nadu and Chennai Telephones circle candidates at RGMTTC, Chennai, itself. BSNLEU heartily thanks the GM(Rectt.), Corporate Office for the swift action.

Com. J.Sampathrao, AGS, BSNLEU and circle president, Telengana circle, met Shri Rahu Gandhi, MP, at Sangareddy on 03.11.2022, together with the other BSNLEU leaders and explained about the delay in BSNL’s 4G launching, non- settlement of the Wage Revision and other issues. BSNLEU leaders met Shri Rahul Gandhi, MP, in the “Bharat Jodo Yatra”. Shri Rahul Gandhi assured to raise these issues with the government. CHQ once again congratulates Com.J.Sampathrao, AGS and the other leaders of Telangana circle, for this innovative action.
BSNLEU is continuously pressing upon the Management, to hold the various LICEs of the Non-Executives. As a part of this, BSNLEU has been insisting upon the Management to hold the TT LICE also, without delay. Yesterday, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, met Shri Saurabh Tyagi, PGM (Estt.) and discussed this issue. The PGM (Estt.) informed that, the Corporate Office has already written letter to all the CGM‘s, requesting them to send the communal break (SC/ST, etc.) of the available vacancies. However reply has not come from any circle administration. The General Secretary requested the PGM (Estt.) to take the necessary steps to get the feedback from the circles without further delay.

डीआर जेई के नियम 8 तहत स्थानांतरण के मामले में कॉरपोरेट कार्यालय द्वारा NE-I और NE-II को अधिशेष सकल घोषित किया गया है। नियम 8 के तहत डीआर जेई के NE-I और NE-II सर्किलों से कमी वाले सर्किलों में स्थानांतरण के अनुरोधों को अविलंब कार्यान्वित किया जाना चाहिए था। तथापि, NE-1 और NE-2 के सर्किल प्रशासन कॉरपोरेट कार्यालय के इस निर्देश का पालन नहीं कर रहे हैं। BSNLEU इस मामले को कई बार कॉरपोरेट मैनेजमेंट के संज्ञान में ले चुका है। आज, श्री अरविंद वडनेरकर, निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) के साथ आयोजित बैठक में साथी पी. अभिमन्यु महासचिव ने NE -1 और NE -2 सर्कल प्रशासन द्वारा कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय आदेश का तत्काल कार्यान्वयन सुनिश्चित करने की मांग की। निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) ने आवश्यक कार्रवाई करने का आश्वासन दिया है।

BSNLEU नेताओं की एक टीम ने कल 03.11.2022 को श्री राहुल गांधी, सांसद से मुलाकात की और वेतन संशोधन, बीएसएनएल की 4G सेवा तत्काल शुरू करने और पेंशन संशोधन के मुद्दों पर ज्ञापन सौंपा। श्री राहुल गांधी, सांसद, अपनी "भारत जोड़ी यात्रा" के एक भाग के रूप में कल संगारेड्डी पहुंचे। साथी जे. संपत राव, सहायक महासचिव, साथी जी. संबाशिवराव, सर्किल सेक्रेटरी, साथी तिरुमलाचार्युलु, उपाध्यक्ष, साथी एम. सुशील कुमार, सहायक सर्किल सेक्रेटरी और साथी जे. किशन राव, जिला सचिव, संगारेड्डी सांसद श्री राहुल गांधी से मिले। साथी जे. संपत राव, सहायक महासचिव ने श्री राहुल गांधी को उपरोक्त मांगों के बारे में बताया और उनसे मुद्दों के समाधान के लिए आवाज उठाने की अपील की। सांसद श्री राहुल गांधी ने आश्वासन दिया कि इन मुद्दों को संसद में उठाया जाएगा। सीएचक्यू इस पहल के लिए साथी जे. संपतराव, सहायक महासचिव और अन्य नेताओं को दिल से बधाई देता है।
- Rule 8 transfers of the DR JEs – non-implementation of the Corporate Office order by NE-I and NE-II circle administrations.
NE-I and NE-II have been declared as surplus circles by the Corporate Office, in the matter of Rule 8 transfers of the DR JEs. Requests for transfers of the DR JEs under Rule 8 from NE-I and NE-II circles to the shortage Circles should have been implemented without delay. However, the circle administrations of NE-I and NE-II are not obeying this instruction of the Corporate Office. BSNLEU has already taken this matter to the notice of the Corporate Management many times. Today, the GS, BSNLEU, demanded that the Director (HR) should intervene in this matter and ensure implementation of the Corporate Office order by the NE-I and NE-II circle administrations.
- Office Accommodation to the district unions functioning at the OA level.
Recently, Corporate Office issued instructions for providing Office Accommodation facility to the Recognised Unions and Associations only at the All India Circle and BA levels. The GS, BSNLEU, told the Director (HR) that, still the district unions of BSNLEU are functioning in many OAs and demanded that, Office Accommodation should be extended up to the OA level also.
- Re-designation of the left out cadres.
BSNLEU is demanding that, new designations should be given to the left out cadres like Junior Hindi Translator, Senior Hindi Translator, Carpenter, Driver, etc. In today’s meeting, the GS, BSNLEU, demanded that, the re-designation of the left out cadres should be done without delay.
- De-reservation of the 95 ST JTO posts in Punjab circle.
95 JTO posts belonging to the ST category are remaining unfilled in Punjab circle for the past many years. This is because there are no ST candidates in Punjab circle. As per Rules, these posts should have been de-reserved after carrying over for 3 recruitment years. However, this has not been done. BSNLEU has already demanded the de-reservation of these posts. In today’s meeting, the GS, BSNLEU, demanded that these 95 JTO posts should be de-reserved, as per the existing government Rules.
- Declaration of JTO LICE results in Punjab circle.
BSNLEU is continuously pressurising the BSNL Management for the declaration of the JTO LICE results in Punjab circle. In today’s meeting, the GS, BSNLEU, requested the Director (HR) to ensure that needful action is taken for the early declaration of the JTO LICE results in Punjab circle.
- Review of the results of the JAO LICE held in Himachal Pradesh circle in 2016.
JAO LICE was conducted in Himachal Pradesh circle in 2016. However, this JAO LICE has been conducted, without carrying forward the two posts which remained unfilled in the JAO LICE held in 2012. BSNLEU has already demanded that the results of the JAO LICE 2016 should be reviewed by carrying forward the two unfilled posts. The GS, BSNLEU, raised this issue in today’s meeting and demanded necessary action immediately.
- Implementation of 5 day week in CGM Office, Mumbai.
The CGM, Maharashtra circle, has written to the Director (HR), requesting to look into the demand of the Maharashtra circle, AUAB, regarding implementation of 5 day week in CGM Office, Mumbai. The GS, BSNLEU, has already written letter to the Director (HR), demanding implementation of the 5 day week in CGM Office, Mumbai. In today’s meeting, the GS, BSNLEU, demanded an early decision on the matter.
- Rule 8 transfer of Shri Sushil Kumar Kashyap, DR JE, Haryana.
Shri Sushil Kumar Kashyap, DR JE’s transfer from Haryana to UP (East) circle was discussed. It was pointed out that, this transfer order was issued by the CGM, Haryana, based on the consent given by the CGM, UP (East). However, Shri Sushil Kumar Kashyap was not permitted to join duty in UP (East) circle. The GS, BSNLEU, requested the Director (HR) to reconsider this case.
The Director (HR) gave a patient hearing to all the issues raised by the GS, BSNLEU. Some queries raised by the Director (HR) were replied by the GS. The Director (HR) assured to take appropriate action on all the issues.
A team of BSNLEU leaders met Shri Rahul Gandhi, MP, yesterday the 03.11.2022 and submitted memorandum, on the issues of Wage Revision, immediate launching of BSNL’s 4G service and Pension Revision. Shri Rahul Gandhi, MP, reached Sangareddy yesterday, as a part of his “Bharat Jodo Yatra”. Com.J. Sampath Rao, AGS, Com.G. Sambasivarao, CS, Com.Tirumalacharyulu, Vice President, Com.M. Sushil Kumar, ACS and Com.J. Kishan Rao, DS, Sangareddy, met Shri Rahul Gandhi, MP. Com.J. Sampath Rao, AGS, explained about the above mentioned demands to Shri Rahul Gandhi and appealed to him to raise his voice for the settlement of the issues. Shri Rahul Gandhi, MP, assured that these issues would be raised in the Parliament. The CHQ heartily congratulates Com.J. Sampath Rao, AGS and other leaders for taking this initiative.
The AUAB, Maharashtra circle, has demanded the implementation of the 5 day week working pattern in the CGM Office, Mumbai. This has been a long pending demand of the employees of CGM Office, Mumbai. Recently, the CGM, Maharashtra circle, has written to the Corporate Office endorsing the letter of the AUAB, Maharashtra circle, demanding implementation of the 5 day week working pattern. Based on this, BSNLEU has written letter to the Director (HR) yesterday, demanding to implement the 5 day week for the CGM Office, Mumbai.
