But, the Recruitment Branch of the Corporate Office wants to hold the JE LICE as an Online Exam. Hence, BSNLEU has submitted this as an additional item, for discussion in the forthcoming Formal Meeting with the Director (HR).

View letterIt is already one and half years, since the VRS is implemented and around 80,000 employees are sent home. However, the BSNL Management has still not completed it's calculation (Restructuring), to find out how many employees are required in each cadre, to run the Company. As a result, holding of the various LICEs is greatly delayed, which is jeopardising the career progression of the Non-Executives. It is needless to sate that the BSNL Management is in a deep slumber. Hence, BSNLEU has once again written to the CMD BSNL, demanding to take action for holding the LICEs.

View letterMany comrades have approached the CHQ with the request to arrange an Health Insurance Policy. In this connection, BSNLEU has written to the CMD BSNL, giving the following suggestions :-
- This Health Insurance Policy can be availed by willing employees, in addition to the existing BSNL MRS.
- It will be a temporary arrangement, till the financial position of the Company improves.
- In this scheme, the role of the Management will be that of a "facilitator". The premium amount can be deducted from the employees’ salary and can be remitted to the insurance company by the BSNL Management, on the analogy of the GTI scheme.
The above stated arrangements will certainly enable the employees to get the Health Insurance Policy at reasonable premium amounts.
