BSNLEU has already written to the Director (HR), demanding to attach Narsinghpur SSA under the Jabalpur or Hoshangabad Business Areas, instead of attaching with the Sagar BA. Based on the discussion held by the BSNLEU circle union, the CGM, Madhya Pradesh circle, has now written to the Director (HR), recommending that Narsinghpur SSA could be brought under the Hoshangabad SSA. Hence, once again BSNLEU has written to the Director (HR), demanding to accept the recommendation of the CGM, MP circle.

The AUAB has issued notification today, for these programmes. All the circle secretaries are requested to send a copy of this notice to the Chief General Managers through E-mail/WhatsApp.

These amendments are demanded, with the view to remove certain hardships being faced by the Non-Executives, in appearing the JAO LICE. However, the Management has not taken any action on this issue so far. Hence, BSNLEU has once again written to the Director (HR), demanding to incorporate the amendments to the JAO RR without further delay.
View letterIt is already 17th of June today. However, the salary for the month of May, 2021 has not been disbursed to the employees. BSNLEU is religiously writing letters to the Management every month, demanding payment of salary on the due date. However, the Management continues to neglect the sufferings of the employees due to the non-payment of the salary. Today, BSNLEU has once again written a letter to the CMD BSNL, demanding disbursement of May, 2021 salary without further delay and also disbursement of the June, 2021 salary on the due date. BSNLEU has also cautioned that, the Management alone shall be held responsible for agitation by the employees for the non-disbursement of salary on the due date.
View letterA good number of DR JEs have applied for transfer under Rule 8, to their home circles. They have already completed 5 years of service. However, their transfers are not being considered. BSNLEU under took the exercise of finding out the number of such DR JEs, who have applied and waiting for the transfer. We have received information of 56 DR JEs. BSNLEU has already taken up this issue as an agenda item for the forthcoming Formal Meeting, to be held with the Director (HR). In addition to that, today, BSNLEU has written letter to the Director (HR), enclosing the list of DR JEs who are waiting for the transfer.
View letterThe Central Secretariat meeting of BSNLEU, held on 09.06.2021, reviewed the functioning of the National / Circle / Local councils. It was disturbing to note that, in most of the circles, the Circle and Local council meetings have not been held after the last Membership Verification, held in September, 2019. The non-holding of these meetings have resulted in the non-settlement of staff grievances. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic situation, council meetings can very well be conducted through video conferencing. BSNLEU has written to the Director (HR), requesting him to issue necessary instruction to the Circle and SSA Heads for immediately holding the council meetings.
View letterAs a part of the consolidation of Business Area, Narsinghpur SSA is being brought under Sagar BA. Comparatively Jabalpur BA and Hoshangabad BA are nearer to Narsinghpur SSA. The employees desire that Narsinghpur SSA should be brought under either Jablapur BA or Hoshangabad BA. BSNLEU has taken up this issue and has written to the Director (HR).
View letterTwo candidates of Punjab circle, who appeared in the JAO LICE held in 2016, have been declared successful in the review of the results of the SC/ST candidates. The CGM, Punjab had already written to the CGM/NATFM, Hyderabad, for the allotment of two seats for these candidates in JAO Phase-I Training. However, they are not sent for the training so far. BSNLEU has taken up this issue and has written to the Director (HR), demanding the early commencement of the JAO training of these candidates.
View letterBSNLEU has already taken up the issue of the DR JEs, who are posted in the remote areas of NE-II circle and who are not getting intra-circle transfer as per the transfer policy already implemented in NE-II circle. BSNLEU has already taken up this issue and written to the Director (HR). Now, this matter is now taken up as an agenda item for the Formal Meeting to be held with the Director (HR) on 17th / 18th / 19th June, 2021.
View letterThe tenure of the BSNL Staff Welfare Board and BSNL Sports and Cultural Board, formed at the Corporate Office level, has already expired in March, 2020 itself. Thereafter, these Boards are not reconstituted. These two Boards govern the welfare, as well as the sports and cultural activities of the employees throughout the country. BSNLEU has already written a letter to the CMD BSNL on 17.08.2020, demanding immediate reconstitution of these two Boards. However, no action has been taken so far in this regard. Hence, BSNLEU has once again written to the CMD BSNL, demanding to reconstitute these Boards without further delay.
