BSNLEU has written to Ms. Sujata T. Ray, Director (HR), seeking a formal meeting to discuss certain pressing issues. They are:-
- Resumption of the negotiation for Wage Revision of the Non-Executives.
- Settlement of the issue of down-gradation of the Sr.TOAs from 7100-200-10100 to 6550-185-9325.
- Holding the JE LICE under 50% quota, as an ‘off-line’, instead of ‘on-line’ and to notify the date of the exam.
- Relaxing the 10th standard qualification condition for candidates to appear in the Telecom Technician LDCE.
- Inordinate delay in holding the Standing Committee meeting.

BSNL Management is contemplating to issue break-in-service, under FR 17A, for participation in the 3 day strike. AUAB has written to the CMD BSNL, opposing this move. The AUAB has stated that, FR 17A is not part of BSNL CRA Rules, and hence break- in -service under FR 17A cannot be imposed on BSNL employees.
BSNLEU has written to the GM(SR) BSNL Corporate Office, demanding to immediately hold the Standing Committee meeting. The progress in the implementation of the decisions taken in the National Council meeting is to be reviewed by the Standing Committee. The last National Council meeting was held on 20.11.2018. BSNLEU has demanded that the Standing Committee meeting should be held immediately, to review the implementation of the decisions taken in that National Council meeting.
