Health Insurance Policy to the willing BSNL employees - BSNLEU writes to the CMD BSNL..

Many comrades have approached the CHQ with the request to arrange an Health Insurance Policy. In this connection, BSNLEU has written to the CMD BSNL, giving the following suggestions :-

1. This Health Insurance Policy can be availed by willing employees, in addition to the existing BSNL MRS. 
2. It will be a temporary arrangement, till the financial position of the Company improves. 
3. In this scheme, the role of the Management will be that of a "facilitator". The premium amount can be deducted from the employees’ salary and can be remitted to the insurance company by the BSNL Management, on the analogy of the GTI scheme.

The above stated arrangements will certainly enable the employees to get the Health Insurance Policy at reasonable premium amounts.
