Provide financial assistance to the families of the contract workers and casual labourers who died due to COVID-19..

The CHQ of BSNLEU has received reports that, some contract workers and casual labourers, who have put in more than 20 years of service for the growth of BSNL, have died due to COVID-19. These workers were the sole breadwinner of their families. The death of these workers have put their families in a great financial turmoil. Hence, BSNLEU has written to the CMD BSNL, demanding that the Company should provide financial assistance to the families of these workers on humanitarian grounds.
