The government is determined not to allow BSNL to launch it’s 4G service. In March, 2020, BSNL floated tender to procure 4G equipments from global vendors. But, this tender was cancelled as per the directive of the government. Further, the government told BSNL that it's core 4G equipments should be procured only from domestic vendors. However, in March, 2021, media reported that the Empowered Technology Group (ETG), headed by Shri Vijay Raghavan, Principal Advisor to the Prime Minister on Science and Technology, had given it’s approval for BSNL to procure 4G equipments from global vendors, such as Nokia, Ericsson, etc. But, now, it is learnt that, the government has ultimately rejected the recommendation of the ETG. Now BSNL is back to square one, on the 4G issue. Undoubtedly, conspiracy is going on at the highest level of the government, to kill BSNL.

बीएसएनएल के नॉन एग्जिक्युटिव्स को आईडीए भुगतान नहीं किया गया - जनरल सेक्रेटरी ने एक बार फिर सीएमडी बीएसएनएल से बात की।
जहां तक नॉन एग्जिक्युटिव्स को आईडीए के भुगतान का संबंध है, माननीय केरल उच्च न्यायालय के आदेश पर अभी तक अमल नहीं हुआ है। बीएसएनएलईयू लगातार इस मुद्दे को उठा रहा है। आज कॉम.पी.अभिमन्यु, जीएस ने एक बार फिर बीएसएनएल के सीएमडी श्री पीके पुरवार से बात की और इस मुद्दे पर चर्चा की। सीएमडी बीएसएनएल ने बताया कि कुछ दिन पहले भी बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन ने दूरसंचार सचिव को पत्र लिखकर डीपीई से जानकारी लेने के लिए कार्रवाई करने का अनुरोध किया है, जिसमें बीएसएनएल के नॉन एग्जिक्युटिव्स को देय अतिरिक्त आईडीए के प्रतिशत के संबंध में कार्रवाई की जाएगी। हालांकि, बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन को अभी तक  DoT की ओर से कोई जवाब नहीं मिला है। यह ध्यान दिया जाना चाहिए कि BSNLEU ने अदालत के आदेश को लागू न करने के संबंध में एक और याचिका दायर की है ।

बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों के लिए मेडिकल इंश्योरेंस - महामंत्री ने Sr.GM( Admn.) से बात की .

यह पहले ही सूचित किया गया है कि बीएसएनएलईयू इच्छुक बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों को मेडिकल इंश्योरेंस योजना लागू करने के प्रयासों को गंभीरता से ले रहा है । आज, कॉम.पी.अभिमन्यु, जीएस ने निगम कार्यालय में Sr.GM (Admn.) श्री A.M. गुप्ता से बात की और प्रगति के बारे में पूछताछ की। Sr.GM (Admn) ने उत्तर दिया कि, इस मामले पर प्रबंधन की आंतरिक समिति की एक बैठक पहले ही हो चुकी है । उन्होंने आगे कहा कि, बीमा कंपनियों के साथ जल्द ही सौदेबाजी शुरू होगी, योजना को अंतिम रूप देने के लिए। 

As regards, the payment of IDA to the Non-Executives, the order of the Hon’ble Kerala High Court is not yet implemented. BSNLEU is continuously taking up this issue. Today, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, once again spoke to Shri P.K. Purwar, CMD BSNL, and discussed this issue. The CMD BSNL told that, even a few days ago, the BSNL Management has written a letter to the Secretary, Telecom, requesting him to take action to get information from the DPE, regarding the percentage of additional DA that has become payable to the Non-Executives of BSNL. However, no response was received from the DoT, stated the CMD BSNL. 

BSNLEU is seriously taking up the matter of issuing Presidential Orders to the TSMs, who were directly promoted as Telecom Technicians. The matter is lying pending with the DoT. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, spoke to Shri Saurabh Tyagi, Sr.GM(Estt.), in the Corporate Office today and discussed the issue. The Sr.GM(Estt.) replied that, the DoT has so far not given it’s approval for this. At the same time, he assured that, he would speak to the concerned DDG, in the DoT and expedite the matter.

It is already informed that BSNLEU is seriously taking efforts to implement a Medical Insurance Scheme to the willing BSNL employees. Today, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, spoke to Shri A.M. Gupta, Sr.GM(Admn.) in the Corporate Office and enquired about the progress. The Sr.GM(Admn.) replied that, one sitting of the Internal Committee of the Management on this matter, has already taken place. He further stated that, bargaining will soon start with the insurance companies, to finalise the premium, as well as other terms and conditions.

In a landmark judgement delivered today, the Supreme Court has quashed the sedition case filed against the reputed journalist, Vinod Dua. The charge against Vinod Dua is that, he had accused Prime Minister Modi of using “deaths and terror attacks” to get votes.  For this, a sedition (Desh droh) case has been filed against Vinod Dua. Whether criticising the Prime Minister is Desh droh? The Supreme Court has said "no" and has quashed the sedition case filed against Vinod Dua.  In the 1962 judgement, delivered in the Kedar Nath Singh case, the Supreme Court has ruled that, speeches and expressions can be termed as seditious, only if the speech is an ‘incitement’ to ‘violence’ or ‘public disorder’. 

प्रधानमंत्री की आलोचना करना राजद्रोह नहीं है - सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने पत्रकार विनोद दुआ के खिलाफ देशद्रोह का मामला रद्द कर दिया ।

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने आज दिए गए एक ऐतिहासिक फैसले में नामी पत्रकार विनोद दुआ के खिलाफ दायर देशद्रोह के मामले को रद्द कर दिया है। विनोद दुआ के खिलाफ आरोप है कि, उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री मोदी पर वोट पाने के लिए ' मौतों और आतंकी हमलों ' का इस्तेमाल करने का आरोप लगाया था ।इसके लिए विनोद दुआ के खिलाफ देशद्रोह  केस दर्ज किया गया है। क्या प्रधानमंत्री की आलोचना क्या देश द्रोह है? सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा है कि "नहीं" और विनोद दुआ के खिलाफ दायर राजद्रोह के मामले को रद्द कर दिया है।  केदार नाथ सिंह मामले में दिए गए 1962 के फैसले में उच्चतम न्यायालय ने व्यवस्था दी है कि भाषणों और अभिव्यक्तियों को देशद्रोही कहा जा सकता है, तभी भाषण हिंसा या जन अव्यवस्था के लिए उकसाना है।

The CITU is organising an online meeting of the functionaries of the Public Sector trade unions on 15-06-2021. The meeting will start at 11:00 am. The Modi government is launching an all-out attack on the Public Sector, through privatisation. Huge assets of the Public Sector, are being handed over to the big corporates like Ambani, Adani, etc., at throw away prices. 

Simultaneously, the Modi government has launched it's attacks on the trade union movement also. All the existing Labour Laws are being scrapped and the anti-worker Labour Codes are being brought. The whole purpose is to kill the fighting potential of the trade unions. The meeting will discuss all these issues. Further, the meeting will also discuss about the Covid-19 pandemic situation.
