टी20 विश्व कप में भारत की शानदार जीत।

साल 2007 में भारत ने आखिरी बार टी20 विश्व कप जीता था। 17 साल बाद भारतीय टीम ने पिछले शनिवार को वेस्टइंडीज के बारबाडोस में शानदार प्रदर्शन किया और टी20 विश्व कप अपने नाम कर लिया। भारतीय खिलाड़ियों का कुल मिलाकर प्रदर्शन काबिले तारीफ है। खास तौर पर विराट कोहली के 56 गेंदों में 76 रन, अक्षर पटेल के 37 गेंदों में 47 रन, आखिरी ओवर में सूर्यकुमार यादव का शानदार कैच और बेशक हार्दिक पांड्या की आखिरी ओवर में शानदार गेंदबाजी ने टीम इंडिया की जीत सुनिश्चित कर दी। BSNLEU इस शानदार जीत के लिए सभी भारतीय खिलाड़ियों को हार्दिक बधाई देता है।

It was in the year 2007, when India won the last T20 World Cup. After 17 years, the Indian team played brilliantly at Barbados in West Indies last Saturday and has won the T20 World Cup. The overall performance of the Indian players is praise worthy. Especially, Virat Kohli‘s 76 runs in 56 balls, Axar Patel‘s 47 runs in 37 balls, a brilliant catch by Suryakumar Yadav in the last over and of course, the breath-taking last over bowling by Hardik Pandya, have ensured victory for team India. BSNLEU heartily congratulates the entire Indian players for this magnificent victory.

In an unprecedented situation in the Assam circle, staff members are being harassed to receive their yearly increment (DNI) due to their participation in a strike. This issue has arisen due to problems in the ERP portal, as mentioned in a letter from the Assam circle administration to the DGM (SR), BSNL CO., Com.Animesh Mitra, President, Com. John Verghese, Acting General Secretary and Com. C.K. Gundanna, AGS, met with Ms. Anita Johri, CGM (SR), BSNL CO, to discuss this matter. The CGM (SR) stated that the SR Section has already moved the file for rectification and clarification from the ERP section. The Assam circle administration will be informed once this clarification is received.

BSNLEU has expressed strong dissatisfaction with the BSNL Management regarding the issuance of PO letters. Com. Animesh Mitra, President, Com. John Verghese, Acting General Secretary, and Com. C.K. Gundanna, AGS, met with Shri S.P. Singh, PGM (Estt.), BSNL CO, to discuss the case of the late Shri Samir Das, Ex. TM, West Bengal Circle, whose family has been awaiting a PO letter since 2021. This case, along with others from Bihar, Karnataka, and Assam, highlights a significant communication gap between the Circle Office and Corporate Office. The PGM (Estt.) has assured that necessary actions will be taken to resolve this issue.

समूह स्वास्थ्य बीमा योजना के नवीनीकरण में गतिरोध।

कर्मचारियों को ज्ञात है कि BSNLEU की पहल पर बीएसएनएल में स्वैच्छिक समूह स्वास्थ्य बीमा योजना लागू की गई है। इस संबंध में बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन और ओरिएंटल इंश्योरेंस कंपनी के बीच पिछले वर्ष हस्ताक्षरित एमओयू की अवधि 31-05-2024 को समाप्त हो गई है। एमओयू के नवीनीकरण के लिए बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन, ओरिएंटल इंश्योरेंस कंपनी और मान्यता प्राप्त यूनियनों और एसोसिएशनों के बीच कई दौर की बैठकें हो चुकी हैं। अभी तक कोई सहमति नहीं बन पाई है। ऐसा इसलिए है, क्योंकि ओरिएंटल इंश्योरेंस कंपनी ने प्रीमियम राशि में भारी वृद्धि कर दी है। उदाहरण के लिए, स्वयं, जीवनसाथी और तीन बच्चों के लिए 5 लाख रुपये की पॉलिसी के लिए पिछले वर्ष प्रीमियम राशि 24,222 रुपये थी। अब ओरिएंटल इंश्योरेंस कंपनी ने आगामी वर्ष के लिए इस राशि को बढ़ाकर 34,810 रुपये कर दिया है। सभी मान्यता प्राप्त यूनियनों और एसोसिएशनों ने इतनी अधिक प्रीमियम राशि स्वीकार नहीं की। वहीं, कोई भी अन्य बीमा कंपनी, चाहे वह सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र की हो या निजी क्षेत्र की, कम प्रीमियम राशि देने को तैयार नहीं है। 01-06-2024 के बाद से कर्मचारियों के पास कोई समूह स्वास्थ्य बीमा योजना नहीं बची है। इन परिस्थितियों में, कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय ने मान्यता प्राप्त यूनियनों और एसोसिएशनों को पत्र जारी कर अनुरोध किया है कि वे एक सप्ताह के भीतर बताएं कि क्या कोई अन्य बीमा कंपनी ओरिएंटल इंश्योरेंस कंपनी की प्रीमियम राशि से कम प्रीमियम राशि देने को तैयार है। कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय का पत्र संलग्न है।

Employees are aware that, due to the initiative taken by BSNLEU, a Voluntary Group Health Insurance scheme has been implemented in BSNL. In this connection, the MoU signed between BSNL Management and Oriental Insurance Company last year has expired on 31–05–2024. Many rounds of meetings have been held between BSNL Management, Oriental Insurance Company, and the Recognised Unions and Associations, for the renewal of the MoU. So far, no agreement could be reached. This is because, Oriental Insurance Company has steeply increased the premium amounts. For example, for a policy of Rs.5 lakh, for self, spouse, and three children, the premium amount was Rs.24,222 last year.  However, Oriental Insurance Company has increased this amount to Rs.34,810 for the coming year. All the Recognised Unions and Associations did not accept such a high premium amount. At the same time, no other insurance company, either in public sector or in private sector, is prepared to offer lesser premium amount. From 01-06-2024 onwards, the employees are left with no Group Health Insurance Scheme.  Under these circumstances, the Corporate Office has issued letter to the recognised unions and associations, requesting them to inform within a week, whether any other insurance company is prepared to offer lesser premium amount, then the Oriental Insurance Company’s premium amount. The Corporate Office letter is enclosed for the information of our comrades.

Com.E.Gopal, one of the senior leaders of BSNLEU, Tamil Nadu circle, has retired from service on superannuation on 31-05-2024. Entered the service as a casual labour in the DoT, Com.E.Gopal soon became an active worker in the trade union. When ITEU (Indian Telecom Employees Union) was started to safeguard the interests of the Line Staff and Group D employees, Com.E.Gopal became one of it's prominent leaders. Soon, he went on to become the General Secretary of the ITEU. When BSNLEU was founded at Visakhapatnam, Com.E.Gopal, was elected as one of the Assistant General Secretaries. He has immensely contributed for the growth of BSNLEU in Tamil Nadu and has played a vital role in organising the lower level employees, including contract workers. On the day of his retirement, Com.E.Gopal has donated Rs.5,000/ to the CHQ. The CHQ wishes a happy retired life to Com.E.Gopal.

BSNLEU ने सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को एफटीटीएच कनेक्शनों के बड़े पैमाने पर काटे जाने पर पत्र लिखा - तत्काल हस्तक्षेप का अनुरोध किया। 

BSNLEU ने महाराष्ट्र और अन्य क्षेत्रों में एफटीटीएच ग्राहकों द्वारा सामना किए जा रहे महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दों को हल करने के लिए सीएमडी बीएसएनएल के हस्तक्षेप का तत्काल अनुरोध किया है। हाल ही में, बीएसएनएल एफटीटीएच सेवाओं के बारे में शिकायतों में वृद्धि हुई है, जिससे निजी सेवा प्रदाताओं के ग्राहक कम हो रहे हैं। रिपोर्ट की गई प्राथमिक समस्याओं में बार-बार कनेक्शन कटना, धीमी इंटरनेट स्पीड, देरी से ग्राहक सहायता और बिलिंग विसंगतियां शामिल हैं। इनके समाधान के लिए BSNLEU ने तकनीकी सहायता कर्मचारियों की संख्या बढ़ाने, नियमित रखरखाव जांच लागू करने, ग्राहक सहायता प्रतिक्रिया समय में सुधार करने, बिलिंग ऑडिट करने और जमीनी हकीकत को समझने और उसका समाधान करने के लिए भागीदारों के साथ मासिक बैठकें आयोजित करने का प्रस्ताव रखा है।
