Yesterday, BSNLEU has written a detailed letter to the Director (HR), wherein various details related to the Wage Revision are elaborately discussed. In this backdrop, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, met Dr. Kalyan Sagar Nippani, today and requested to take steps for the early resumption of the Wage Negotiation talks. The General Secretary strongly demanded that the pay scales of the Non-Executives already finalised in the Wage Revision Committee meeting, held on 27.07.2018 should be implemented by the Management. The Director (HR) assured that this issue would be taken up with the members of the Management Side of the Wage Negotiating Committee.

Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, met Shri R.K. Goyal, Chairman of the Wage Negotiating Committee, today and demanded that meeting of the Wage Negotiating Committee should be conducted as early as possible. The General Secretary also requested the Chairman to reconsider the Management’s decision to implement shorter pay scales for the Non-Executives. He pointed out that the 3rd PRC has recommended long pay scales having up to 42 spans and asked why the Management wants to implement shorter pay scales for the Non-Executives. He appealed to the Chairman, to remove the deadlock by accepting the pay scales already finalised in the Wage Negotiating Committee meeting held on 27.07.2018.

BSNLEU ने निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) को पत्र लिखकर वेतन संशोधन वार्ता में गतिरोध को समाप्त करने के लिए हस्तक्षेप करने की मांग की। 

24 अगस्त, 2024 को साथी पी. अभिमन्यु, महासचिव, ने डॉ. कल्याण सागर निप्पानी, निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) से मुलाकात की और उनसे नोन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स के वेतन संशोधन वार्ता में व्याप्त गतिरोध को समाप्त करने के लिए आवश्यक कार्रवाई करने का अनुरोध किया। उस चर्चा में, यह बताया गया कि गतिरोध केवल इसलिए उत्पन्न हुआ था क्योंकि प्रबंधन पक्ष नए वेतनमानों पर हुए समझौते से पीछे हट गया था और नोन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स के लिए कम वेतनमान लागू करने का प्रयास कर रहा था। आज, सीएचक्यू ने निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) को एक विस्तृत पत्र लिखा है, जिसमें विभिन्न घटनाक्रमों के बारे में बताया गया है, जो नोन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स के वेतन संशोधन को तत्काल अंतिम रूप देने को उचित ठहराते हैं। एक बार फिर, BSNLEU ने गतिरोध को समाप्त करने और वेतन संशोधन वार्ता को फिर से शुरू करने के लिए निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) के तत्काल हस्तक्षेप की मांग की है।

On 24th August, 2024, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, met Dr. Kalyan Sagar Nippani,  Director (HR) and requested him to take necessary action for breaking the deadlock prevailing in the Wage Revision talks of the Non-Executives. In that discussion, it was pointed out that, the deadlock had arisen only because the Management Side had gone back from the agreement reached on new pay scales and was trying to impose shorter pay scales for the Non-Executives. Today, the CHQ has written a detailed letter to the Director (HR), explaining about the various developments that have taken place, that justify immediate finalisation of the Wage Revision of the Non-Executives. Once again, BSNLEU has demanded for the immediate intervention of the Director (HR) to break the deadlock and resumption of the Wage Revision talks.

A group of 11 academics, musicians and former bureaucrats on Wednesday filed a case in the Supreme Court of India, seeking a direction to be given to the Central Government, to stop the supply of arms and equipments by Indian Companies, like the Adani Group, to Israel. The petitioners have stated that, Israel is involved in genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.

As regards the requests of JEs for Rule 8 transfer, the Corporate Office has issued clear instruction that, JEs can be transferred from surplus circles to deficient circles. West Bengal is a surplus circle. JEs have applied for transfer from West Bengal circle to other deficient circles like Kolkata and Karnataka. However their requests for transfer are not being processed by West Bengal circle.  This is violation of the instruction of the Corporate Office. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, discussed this issue with Shri S.P.Singh, PGM (Estt.) today. The PGM(Estt.) assured that, needful action would be taken in this regard.

As per the instructions of the corporate office, circle council should function in the corporate office. The PGM (Admin.) is the chairman of this circle council. However, till date, this circle council has not been constituted. Com. P.Abhimanyu, GS, discussed this issue with Shri Sanjeev Tyagi, PGM (Admin.) and with Ms. Anitha Johri, PGM(SR) today and insisted for the immediate constitution of the circle council in the Corporate Office. Both the officers assured that, needful action would be taken for constituting and functioning of the circle council in the corporate office.

17 employees of the Telecom Factory, Mumbai, have applied for appearing in the TT LICE, which is going to be held on 8th September, 2024. However there is no vacancy in Telecom Factory Mumbai. Presently, Telecom Factory, Mumbai, comes under Maharashtra circle. The Maharashtra circle union had referred the issue to the CHQ.  Today, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, discussed this issue with Shri S.P.Singh, PGM(Estt.) He replied that, had these 17 officials been recruited by other units and were deputed to the Telecom Factory, then these officials can appear in the vacancies of the units which recruited them. Otherwise, these officials cannot appear in the TT LICE, since there is no vacancy in Telecom Factory, Mumbai, since candidates can appear in the TT LICE only where vacancy is there in their respective OAs / BAs.
