BSNLEU is celebrating the birth centenary of our beloved leader, Com.Moni Bose,  at Kolkata on 15.05.2025. Com.Moni Bose is the General Secretary of the E-3 union elected in the Bhopal All India Conference, held from 24th to 27th October, 1991. He defeated Com.O.P. Gupta, the long standing General Secretary of the E-3 union. However, the DoT did not recognise Com.Moni Bose, on the plea that he was a dismissed employee of the erstwhile P&T department. Together with Com.V.A.N. Namboodiri, Com.Moni Bose relentlessly toured various circles and organised the Union. He was elected as the President in the next All India Conference of E3 union held at Thiruvananthapuram in April, 1994. When BSNLEU was formed in the year 2002, Com. Moni Bose was elected as the Patron of the Union. He is the younger brother of the legendary trade union leader, Com.K.G. Bose. The hard work, sacrifices and contributions of Com.Moni Bose have greatly helped in building a powerful working class oriented trade union movement in the telecom sector. The CHQ of BSNLEU is releasing a Souvenir, with articles written by prominent trade union leaders. The Souvenir will be released at the time of the birth anniversary celebration on 15.05.2025.

As per the call of the CHQ of BSNLEU, the circle unions of BSNLEU are collecting Cuba Relief Fund.  Karnataka circle union has collected Rs.50,501/-. This amount is collected from the members of BSNLEU in Karnataka circle. The CHQ heartily congratulates Com.H.V. Sudharshan, Circle Secretary, Com.Irfan Pasha, Acting Circle Secretary & Treasurer (CHQ) and Com.C.K.Gundanna, Circle President & AGS, as well as all the District Secretaries of Karnataka circle for taking serious efforts to collect the Cuba Relief Fund from the employees.

The circle executive committee meeting of BSNLEU, UP (West) circle, was held at Ghaziabad yesterday the 12.05.2025. District secretaries / representatives of the various district unions attended the meeting. Com.Ansar Ali, circle president, presided over the meeting and delivered the presidential address. Com.Puneet Kumar, circle secretary, welcomed everyone and presented the report on activities. Com.P.Abhimanyu, General Secretary, addressed the meeting and spoke in detail about the anti-worker and pro-corporate 4 Labour Codes, the decision of the Central Trade Unions to organise General Strike on 20.05.2025, developments in the Wage Revision issue and other issues of the Non-Executives being taken up by the Union. The meeting is also addressed by Com.Ashwin Kumar, Organising Secretary (CHQ) and Com.Naresh Pal, circle secretary, AIBDPA. Thereafter, all the members of the circle executive committee participated in the discussion. Finally, Com.P.Abhimanyu, General Secretary, replied to the issues raised by the comrades. Com.Puneet Kumar, circle secretary, summed up the discussions.  

उत्तर प्रदेश (पूर्व) सर्किल की विस्तारित सर्किल कार्यकारिणी की उत्साहपूर्ण बैठक लखनऊ आयोजित हुई. 

उत्तर प्रदेश (पूर्व) सर्किल की विस्तारित सर्किल कार्यकारिणी की उत्साहपूर्ण बैठक लखनऊ में आयोजित दिनांक 09.05.2025 को सम्पन्न हुई। बैठक में उत्तर प्रदेश (पूर्व) सर्किल के सभी जिलों के जिला सचिवों एवं सर्किल पदाधिकारियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। बैठक की अध्यक्षता सर्किल अध्यक्ष साथी आनंद कुमार सिंह ने की तथा अध्यक्षीय भाषण दिया। सर्किल सचिव साथी तिलक राज तिवारी ने सभी का स्वागत किया तथा अपनी गतिविधियों की रिपोर्ट सदन के समक्ष रखी। महासचिव साथी पी. अभिमन्यु ने बैठक को संबोधित किया तथा सरकार की सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र विरोधी एवं निजी क्षेत्र समर्थक नीतियों के बारे में विस्तार से बताया, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप बीएसएनएल को समय पर अच्छी गुणवत्ता वाली 4G सेवा शुरू करने का अवसर नहीं मिल पाया है। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि किस प्रकार 29 श्रम कानूनों को समाप्त कर दिया गया है तथा इसके स्थान पर सरकार मजदूर विरोधी एवं कॉरपोरेट समर्थक श्रम संहिताएं ला रही है। उन्होंने वेतन संशोधन मुद्दे और BSNLEU द्वारा उठाए जा रहे नॉन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स  के अन्य मुद्दों पर हो रहे विकास के बारे में बताया। सभी जिला सचिवों और मंडल पदाधिकारियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक विचार-विमर्श में भाग लिया। उन्होंने उत्तर प्रदेश (पूर्व) सर्किल में BSNLEU को मजबूत करने का संकल्प लिया। अंत में, साथी  पी. अभिमन्यु, महासचिव ने साथियों द्वारा उठाए गए राष्ट्रीय स्तर के मुद्दों का जवाब दिया। समापन भाषण साथी तिलक राज तिवारी, सर्किल सचिव ने दिया और बैठक समाप्त हो गई।

बुद्ध पूर्णिमा के अवसर पर BSNLEU सभी साथियों को हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं एवं बधाई देता है। भगवान बुद्ध का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण उपदेश अहिंसा एवं अहिंसा है। जब लोगों में नफरत फैलाई जा रही हो और लोगों को धर्म, जाति, क्षेत्र, भाषा आदि के नाम पर बांटा जा रहा हो, तब भगवान बुद्ध का साथी मनुष्य से प्रेम करने का उपदेश बहुत महत्वपूर्ण हो जाता है।

On the occasion of Buddha Poornima, BSNLEU conveys best wishes and warm greetings to all the comrades. The most important preaching of Lord Buddha is ahimsa and non- violence. When hatred is being spread among the people and when  people are being divided in the name of religion, caste, region, language, etc.,  the preaching of Lord Buddha to love the fellow man, assumes great significance.

The Extended Circle Executive Committee meeting of UP (East) circle was held at Lucknow on 09.05.2025. District Secretaries and circle office bears from all over the UP (East) circle participated in the meeting enthusiastically. Com.Anand Kumar Singh, Circle President, presided over the meeting and delivered the presidential address. Com.Tilak Raj Tiwari, Circle Secretary, welcomed everyone and placed before the house his report on activities. Com.P.Abhimanyu, General Secretary, addressed the meeting and explained in detail about the anti-public sector and pro-private policies of the government, as a result of which BSNL has been denied of the opportunity of launching good quality 4G service on time. He also explained how the 29 hard won Labour Laws have been abolished and in it’s place, the government is bringing anti-worker and pro-corporate Labour Codes. He explained about the developments taking place on the Wage Revision issue and other issues of the Non-Executives being taken up by BSNLEU. All the district secretaries and circle office bearers enthusiastically took part in the lively deliberations that ensued. They resolved to strengthen BSNLEU in UP (East) circle. Finally, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, replied to the national level issues raised by the comrades. The summing up address was delivered by Com.Tilak Raj Tiwari, Circle Secretary and  that the meeting came to an end.

The Extended Circle Executive Committee meeting of Maharashtra circle is held at Pune today. Circle President, Com.Nagesh Nalawade, presided over the meeting. Com.Kautik Baste, Circle Secretary, welcomed everyone and presented the report on activities. Com.Animesh Mitra, President addressed the meeting and spoke in detail on the issue of Wage Revision. He also spoke on BSNL’s below standard 4G service, Management’s decision to implement 2nd VRS in BSNL and other issues of the Non-Executives being taken up by BSNLEU. The President elaborately discussed about the efforts being taken by the government to weaken the Indian Public Sector. He cited the example of how the government created hurdles in BSNL’s launching of good quality 4G service. He further explained about the anti-worker and pro-corporate 4 Labour Codes being implemented by the government. The President called on the employees to participate in the 20th May, General Strike and make it a total success.
