Israel continues to kill the Palestinians in Gaza massively, violating all resolutions of the United Nations. Bombings by Israeli fighter jets and killings by Israeli tanks are going on non-stop. So far, Israel has killed 50,000 Palestinians in Gaza. Over 3,000 Palestinians are killed after March, 18 alone. This is the biggest human tragedy in the recent history. And the entire world is remaining as a silent spectator. Israel is a rogue nation and America is the secret behind this rogue nation. America is supplying latest weapons and huge funds to Israel, which is killing thousands and thousands of human beings. (The same America is imposing sanctions on Cuba since 1959 and is ruining that nation.) Today’s Times of India has written a good editorial on the killings going on in Palestine. We enclose this editorial for the benefit of our comrades.

A note on the issue of Wage Revision has been submitted by BSNLEU to the Chairman of the Wage Revision Committee. General Secretary, BSNLEU, is discussing the contents of this note with all the members of the Management Side of the Wage Revision Committee. Today, Com.P.Abhimanyu, General Secretary, met Shri Gajender Kumar, Chief Liaison Officer and member of the Wage Revision Committee and discussed the contents of the note submitted to the Chairman.  

In the last meeting of the Wage Revision Committee held on 29.04.2025, nothing fruitful was discussed. It was decided that the next meeting of the Wage Revision Committee would be held in the last week of May, 2025. However, when the General Secretary, BSNLEU, met the Chairman of the Wage Revision Committee on 20.05.2025, it was told that the next meeting could be held only in the first week of June, 2025, in view of the fact that the Director (HR) had gone abroad. Today, BSNLEU has written letter to the Chairman of the Wage Revision Committee to ensure that the notification for the meeting to be held in June, 2025, is issued immediately.

BSNLEU के महासचिव ने भोपाल में एसएनईए के अखिल भारतीय सम्मेलन को संबोधित किया।

एसएनईए का अखिल भारतीय सम्मेलन 19.05.2025 से भोपाल में आयोजित किया जा रहा है। आज इस सम्मेलन का अंतिम दिन है। आज बैठक को श्री ए. रॉबर्ट जे. रवि, सीएमडी बीएसएनएल, साथी  पी. अभिमन्यु महासचिव, BSNLEU, साथी  जी.एल. जोगी, पूर्व महासचिव एसएनईए और कई अन्य लोगों ने संबोधित किया। इससे पहले, साथी  एम.एस. अडसुल, महासचिव एसएनईए ने सभी का स्वागत किया और साथी मनीष समाधिया, अध्यक्ष ने अध्यक्षता की। सीएमडी बीएसएनएल ने विस्तार से बात की और बीएसएनएल की सेवाओं की गुणवत्ता में सुधार लाने और सुधार लाने के लिए प्रबंधन द्वारा की जा रही सभी पहलों के बारे में बताया। अपने भाषण में साथी  पी. अभिमन्यु, महासचिव ने बताया कि कैसे बीएसएनएल में यूनियनों और एसोसिएशनों ने एयूएबी के बैनर तले बीएसएनएल की वित्तीय स्थिति को मजबूत करने के लिए कई पहल की हैं। उन्होंने सरकार की नीतियों के बारे में भी बताया, जिससे बीएसएनएल की वित्तीय स्थिति खराब हो गई है। उन्होंने एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स और नॉन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स  से बीएसएनएल और कर्मचारियों के हितों की रक्षा के लिए एकजुट होकर आगे बढ़ने का आह्वान किया। 

The All India Conference of SNEA is being held at Bhopal from 19.05.2025 onwards. Today is the last day of this Conference. Shri A. Robert J. Ravi, CMD BSNL, Com.P.Abhimanyu General Secretary, BSNLEU, Com.G.L. Jogi, former General Secretary, SNEA and many others addressed the meeting today. Earlier, Com.M.S. Adasul, General Secretary, SNEA, welcomed everyone and Com.Manish Samadhiya, President, presided over. The CMD BSNL elaborately spoke and explained about all the initiatives being taken by the Management to improve the quality of BSNL’s services and also for bringing a turn around. In his speech, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, explained how the unions and associations in BSNL, under the banner AUAB, had taken many initiatives for strengthening the financial condition of BSNL. He also explained about the policies of the government which has crippled BSNL’s financial condition. He called upon the Executives and Non-Executives to unitedly move ahead to safeguard the interest of BSNL and the employees.

BSNLEU has already reported that, Elon Musk’s Starlink is entering the Indian Telecommunications Sector. Both Airtel and Jio have already signed agreements with Starlink on 11.03.2025 and 12.03.2025 respectively. Starlink will be providing Satellite Broadband Service in tie-up with Airtel and Jio. However, for providing Satellite Broadband Service, the Government of India has to allot satellite spectrum to Starlink. Presently, only the defence services and ISRO are using satellite spectrum. A strong plea has been made to the Government of India, demanding that, satellite spectrum should not be allotted for commercial use, and that too, to a foreign company like Elon Musk’s Starlink, which will be a threat to the security of our country. Starlink is having close connections with the defence services of the United States. However, as per today’s reporting made in the Times of India, Starlink is likely to get the approval of the Government of India, for providing Satellite Broadband Service. The newspaper has reported that both the Home and External Affairs Ministries of Government of India have already given their approval for Starlink. Earlier, the government stopped BSNL from purchasing 4G equipments from foreign companies like Nokia and Ericsson. However, the same Government of India is now permitting foreign technology and a foreign company viz., Starlink to enter into the Indian Telecommunications Sector. Why the government is adopting double standards?

भारत में "सैटेलाइट ब्रॉडबैंड सेवा" प्रदान करने के लिए एलन मस्क की स्टारलिंक को भारत सरकार की मंजूरी मिलने की संभावना है।

BSNLEU ने पहले ही बताया है कि एलन मस्क की स्टारलिंक भारतीय दूरसंचार क्षेत्र में प्रवेश कर रही है। एयरटेल और जियो दोनों ने पहले ही क्रमशः 11.03.2025 और 12.03.2025 को स्टारलिंक के साथ समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। स्टारलिंक एयरटेल और जियो के साथ गठजोड़ करके सैटेलाइट ब्रॉडबैंड सेवा प्रदान करेगी। हालांकि, सैटेलाइट ब्रॉडबैंड सेवा प्रदान करने के लिए भारत सरकार को स्टारलिंक को सैटेलाइट स्पेक्ट्रम आवंटित करना होगा। वर्तमान में, केवल रक्षा सेवाएँ और इसरो ही सैटेलाइट स्पेक्ट्रम का उपयोग कर रहे हैं। भारत सरकार से एक मजबूत दलील दी गई है, जिसमें मांग की गई है कि, सैटेलाइट स्पेक्ट्रम को वाणिज्यिक उपयोग के लिए आवंटित नहीं किया जाना चाहिए, और वह भी एलन मस्क की स्टारलिंक जैसी विदेशी कंपनी को, जो हमारे देश की सुरक्षा के लिए खतरा होगा। स्टारलिंक का संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका की रक्षा सेवाओं के साथ घनिष्ठ संबंध है। हालांकि, टाइम्स ऑफ इंडिया में आज की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, स्टारलिंक को सैटेलाइट ब्रॉडबैंड सेवा प्रदान करने के लिए भारत सरकार की मंजूरी मिलने की संभावना है। अखबार ने बताया है कि भारत सरकार के गृह और विदेश मंत्रालय दोनों ने स्टारलिंक के लिए अपनी मंजूरी दे दी है। इससे पहले, सरकार ने बीएसएनएल को नोकिया और एरिक्सन जैसी विदेशी कंपनियों से 4G उपकरण खरीदने से रोक दिया था। हालांकि, वही भारत सरकार अब विदेशी तकनीक और एक विदेशी कंपनी, स्टारलिंक को भारतीय दूरसंचार क्षेत्र में प्रवेश करने की अनुमति दे रही है। सरकार दोहरे मापदंड क्यों अपना रही है ?

वेतन संशोधन मुद्दा - BSNLEU के महासचिव ने वेतन संशोधन समिति के अध्यक्ष और अन्य प्रबंधन पक्ष के सदस्यों को नोट सौंपा।

BSNLEU वेतन संशोधन मुद्दे को जल्द से जल्द निपटाने के लिए हर संभव प्रयास कर रहा है। यूनियन के सामने एक समस्या यह है कि वेतन संशोधन समिति में अध्यक्ष सहित प्रबंधन पक्ष के अधिकांश सदस्य नए हैं। सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बात यह है कि समिति में वित्त विंग के अधिकारी 30 अप्रैल को सेवानिवृत्त हो गए। इसे देखते हुए, 29.04.2025 को आयोजित अंतिम वेतन संशोधन समिति की बैठक से केवल एक दिन पहले एक अन्य वित्त विंग अधिकारी को समिति का सदस्य नियुक्त किया गया। वेतन संशोधन समिति के नए प्रबंधन पक्ष के सदस्यों को पिछले दिनों हुए घटनाक्रमों/चर्चाओं की जानकारी नहीं है। यही कारण है कि 29.04.2025 को आयोजित वेतन संशोधन समिति की बैठक में कोई सार्थक चर्चा नहीं हो सकी। इसको देखते हुए BSNLEU ने वेतन संशोधन समिति के अध्यक्ष को संबोधित एक विस्तृत नोट तैयार किया है, जिसकी प्रतिलिपि वेतन संशोधन समिति के सभी प्रबंधन पक्ष के सदस्यों को भेजी गई है। वेतन संशोधन वार्ता से संबंधित सभी महत्वपूर्ण दस्तावेज नोट के साथ संलग्न हैं। कल महासचिव साथी  पी अभिमन्यु ने वेतन संशोधन समिति के अध्यक्ष श्री राजीव सोनी को यह नोट सौंपा और वेतन संशोधन वार्ता का हर विवरण समझाया। इस चर्चा के दौरान प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर  (एसआर) सुश्री अनीता जौहरी भी मौजूद थीं। इसके बाद महासचिव ने वेतन संशोधन समिति में नवनियुक्त वित्त विंग सदस्य श्री पी.डी. चिरानिया, प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर  (सीबीबी) से मुलाकात की और सभी विवरणों को समझाया। वेतन संशोधन समिति में शेष प्रबंधन पक्ष के सदस्यों के साथ भी इसी तरह की चर्चा की जाएगी। BSNLEU को पूरी उम्मीद है कि BSNLEU के महासचिव द्वारा की जा रही इस कवायद से वेतन संशोधन समिति में प्रबंधन पक्ष और कर्मचारी पक्ष के सदस्यों के बीच समझ बनाने में मदद मिलेगी, ताकि वेतन संशोधन समझौते पर जल्द से जल्द हस्ताक्षर किए जा सकें।
