The executives and non-executives of BSNL, took to the streets today and vehemently protested against the high-handed action of the DoT, in the arbitrary taking over of the ALTTC. Accepting the call of the AUAB, protest demonstrations were organised throughout the country today. The protesters demanded immediate cancellation of the presidential order issued by the DoT, for the taking over of the ALTTC. Further, they also protested against the arbitrary taking over of BSNL’s lands, buildings and office spaces, in many parts of the country, by the DoT. They demanded that, these high-handed actions of the DoT should be stopped forthwith.

The AUAB has called on the BSNL employees to organise protest lunch our demonstrations throughout the country today, against the arbitrary order of the DoT, for taking over the ALTTC. This protest is also against the arbitrary taking over of BSNL‘s lands, buildings and office spaces in many circles, by the DoT. Circle and district secretaries are requested to coordinate with the other constituents of the AUAB and to organise the demonstrations successfully.

Recently, the DoP&T has issued letter stating that, single male parents are entitled to avail the Child Care Leave (CCL). However, the BSNL Corporate Office has not yet endorsed this letter. BSNLEU has already written to the PGM(Estt.), demanding endorsement by the Corporate Office. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, discussed this issue today with Shri Saurabh Tyagi, PGM (Estt.) and requested for early action by the Corporate Office. The PGM(Estt.) assured that the endorsement will be issued shortly.

The SNEA is conducting relay hunger strike at the Corporate Office (at Eastern Court), demanding settlement of the genuine demands of the Executives. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, met the leaders on relay hunger strike today and expressed his solidarity. He also expressed his anguish over the demolition of the hunger strike pandal by the police, a few days back and also forcibly taking the SNEA leaders to the police station. 

The renewal of the Group Term Insurance Scheme (GTI) of the Non-Executives, became due in February, 2022. For this, the premium should have been deducted in the salary for the month of February, 2022. BSNLEU took up this issue with the Corporate Office for taking necessary action. Based on this, the Corporate Office took action, for the submission of option by the Non-Executives. However, the CHQ of BSNLEU received reports that, the premium amount was not deducted from the February salary of the employees. This issue was discussed by Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, with Shri Saurabh Tyagi, PGM(Estt.), BSNL CO. The PGM(Estt.) told the General Secretary that, the Management has already paid the premium amount on behalf of all the employees who have submitted option. This has been done to ensure that, the GTI policy does not get lapsed. This amount will be deducted from the salary of the employees.

BSNLEU, AIBDPA और BSNLCCWF की समन्वय समिति नॉन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स, पेंशनभोगियों और ठेका कामगारों के मुद्दों पर लगातार आंदोलनात्मक कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन कर रही है। समन्वय समिति ने काले बैज-black badge पहनकर प्रदर्शन करने और जनरल मेनेजर और चीफ़ जनरल मेनेजर को ज्ञापन सौंपने का आह्वान किया था। हालांकि, कोविड-19 की तीसरी लहर के कारण इस कार्यक्रम को स्थगित कर दिया गया था। अब, समन्वय समिति ने इस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन करने का निर्णय लिया है, अर्थात् दिनांक 10.03.2022 को ब्लैक बैज पहनकर प्रदर्शन करना और जनरल मेनेजर और चीफ़ जनरल मेनेजर को ज्ञापन सौंपना। BSNLEU के सभी सर्कल और जिला सचिवों से अनुरोध किया जाता है कि वे AIBDPA और BSNLCCWF के साथ समन्वय करें और इस कार्यक्रम को प्रभावी ढंग से आयोजित करें। 

DoT द्वारा मनमाने ढंग से ALTTC का अधिग्रहण ।  - दिनांक 03-03-2022 को विरोध प्रदर्शन आयोजित करने के लिए AUAB का आह्वान ।

यह पहले ही सूचित किया जा चुका है कि दूरसंचार विभाग ने दिनांक 21-02-2022 को ALTTC, गाजियाबाद, जो 81 एकड़ परिसर है, जिसका बाज़ार मूल्य 6,000 करोड़ रुपये है के अधिग्रहण के लिए एक मनमाना आदेश जारी किया था । तुरंत, AUAB ने दिनांक 24-02-2022 को अपनी ऑनलाइन बैठक आयोजित की और DoT के मनमाने आदेश का जोरदार विरोध किया। इसके बाद, दूरसंचार विभाग ने दिनांक 25-02-2022 को एक और पत्र जारी किया, जिसमें कहा गया था कि, ALTTC बीएसएनएल के साथ बना रहेगा। हालांकि, दूरसंचार विभाग ने दिनांक 21-02-2022 के अपने आदेश को रद्द नहीं किया है। इसके अलावा, देश के कई भागों में DoT द्वारा बीएसएनएल की भूमि, भवनों और कार्यालय स्थलों को मनमाने ढंग से अपने कब्जे में लिया जा रहा है। DoT की इस मनमानी को रोका जाना चाहिए।  इसलिए AUAB ने बीएसएनएल के एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स और नॉन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स से दिनांक 03-03-2022 को विरोध प्रदर्शन आयोजित करने का आह्वान किया है।  BSNLEU के सर्कल और जिला सचिवों से अनुरोध किया जाता है कि वे AUAB के अन्य घटकों के साथ समन्वय करें और विरोध प्रदर्शनों को सफलतापूर्वक आयोजित करें।

It is already informed that, the DoT issued an arbitrary order on 21-02-2022, for the taking over of the ALTTC, Ghaziabad, which is having an 81 acre campus, with the market value of Rs.6,000 crore. Immediately, the AUAB held its online meeting on 24.02.2022 and strongly protested the high-handed order of the DoT. Thereafter, the DoT issued another letter on 25-02-2022, stating that, the ALTTC will continue to remain with BSNL. However, the DoT has not cancelled its order dated 21.02.2022. Moreover, lands, buildings and office spaces of BSNL are being arbitrarily taken over by the DoT in many parts of the country. This high-handedness of the DoT has to be stopped.  Hence the AUAB has called on the Executives and Non-Executives of BSNL, to organise protest launch our demonstrations on 03-03-2022.  The circle and district secretaries of BSNLEU are requested to coordinate with the other constituents of the AUAB and to organise the protest demonstrations successfully.

The Co-ordination Committee of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF is continuously organising agitational programmes, on the issues of the Non-Executives, pensioners and contract workers. The Co-ordination Committee had given call to organise black badge wearing demonstrations and submitting of memorandums to the GMs and CGMs on 25.01.2022. However, due to the third wave of Covid-19, this programme was postponed. Now, the Co-ordination Committee has decided to organise this programme, i.e., black badge wearing demonstrations and submitting of memorandums to the GMs and CGMs on 10-03-2022. All the circle and district secretaries of BSNLEU are requested to coordinate with the AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF and organise this program effectively.
