Bihar circle is being considered as one of the weak circles of BSNLEU. Under this circumstance, the two day circle conference of Bihar circle was held at Bhagalpur on 21st & 22ndNovember, 2022. From the CHQ, both Com.Animesh Mitra, President and Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, attended this two day circle conference. Threadbare discussions took place for overcoming the weaknesses in the functioning of the Bihar circle union. A large number of young delegates who participated in this conference, actively took part in the deliberations also. Based on the deliberations, a new and dynamic leadership is elected at the end of the Conference. Com.Prashant Kumar Prashant, JE, the dynamic District Secretary of Bhagalpur is elected as the new Circle Secretary. Com.B.P. Singh, the outgoing circle secretary, is elected as the Circle President. Another dynamic comrade and District Secretary of Darbhanga, Com.Ram Kumar Rai, is elected as the Circle Treasurer. The new leadership has vowed to strengthen BSNLEU in Bihar circle.

Com.K.C. John, Pathanamthitta, is admitted in a Cochin Hospital for serious liver ailment. He needs immediate liver transplantation. The CGM Office, Kerala, had sought Rs.15 lakh, for enabling Com.K.C. John to undergo liver transplantation surgery. Kerala circle union brought this matter to the notice of the CHQ yesterday. This issue was immediately taken up by the CHQ with the Corporate Office. Com.P.Abhimanyu, discussed this issue with Shri P.C. Bhatt, PGM(CBB), Corporate Office. Consequent to this, an amount of Rs.11 lakh  is sanctioned by the Corporate Office to Kerala circle. CHQ heartily thanks Shri P.C. Bhatt, PGM(CBB), for taking expeditious action. 

The two day circle conference of Bihar circle enthusiastically started at Bhagalpur yesterday the 21-11-2022. The conference started with the hoisting of Union flag by Com.Animesh Mitra, President. Thereafter, the Open Session of the Conference started. Com. Manoj Kumar Shrivastav, vice-president, presided over. The Open Session was addressed by Com.P.Abhimanyu, General Secretary, Com.Ganesh Shankar Singh, General Secretary, CITU, Bihar state, Com.Animesh Mitra, President and Com.B.P.Singh, circle secretary. Both the President and the General Secretary, criticised the government for creating road-blocks in BSNL’s 4G launching, as a result of which BSNL is losing lakhs of it’s valuable customers every month. It is unfortunate that, even now the Management is not in a position to tell as to when BSNL will launch it’s 4G service, stated the leaders. The leaders also explained in detail, the present status of the burning issues of Wage Revision, Stagnation, etc. Com. Prasant, District Secretary, Bhagalpur, proposed vote of thanks. The Subjects Committee of the Conference started today morning and is going on. Com.P.Abhimanyu,GS, delivered the inaugural address of the Subjects Committee. Com.B.P.Singh, circle secretary, submitted the report on activities. The delegates are participating in the deliberations.

जॉन वर्गीस, उप महासचिव ने सदस्य (सेवा) से मुलाकात की - उनसे वेतन संशोधन मुद्दे को सुलझाने का अनुरोध किया।

दूरसंचार आयोग के सदस्य (सेवा) श्री महेश शुक्ला ने कल औरंगाबाद का दौरा किया। इस अवसर का उपयोग करते हुए साथी जॉन वर्गीस, उप महासचिव, BSNLEU ने सदस्य (सेवा) से मुलाकात की और उनसे वेतन संशोधन मुद्दे को हल करने का आग्रह किया। साथी जॉन वर्गीस ने सदस्य (सेवाओं) को अवगत कराया कि बड़ी संख्या में कर्मचारी स्थगन की समस्या से पीड़ित है, और इस समस्या को केवल वेतन संशोधन के निपटान के माध्यम से सुलझाया जा सकता है।सदस्य (सेवाओं) ने उत्तर दिया कि नोन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स  के वेतन संशोधन समझौते को यूनियनों और बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन के बीच शीघ्रता से हस्ताक्षरित किया जाना चाहिए और डीओटी को अनुमोदन के लिए भेजा जाना चाहिए। साथी जॉन वर्गीज, उप महासचिव के साथ साथी रवि पाटिल, असिस्टेंट सर्किल सेक्रेटरी, BSNLEU, साथी शिवाजी चौहान, जिला सचिव एनएफटीई, प्रभात कुमार, एसएनईए, अविनाश पुंडकर ने भी सदस्य (सेवा) से मुलाकात की।  सीएचक्यू यह पहल की सराहना करता है।

BSNLEU ने संयुक्त वेतन वार्ता समिति में दो डीआर जेई को नामित किया।

9वीं सदस्यता सत्यापन के बाद BSNLEU को एक बार फिर से मुख्य मान्यता प्राप्त यूनियन के रूप में मान्यता प्रदान की गई है।  इसके बाद, BSNLEU ने संयुक्त वेतन वार्ता समिति के कर्मचारी पक्ष में दो बदलाव किए हैं। BSNLEU ने साथी सुरेश कुमार, डीआर जेई, कोलकाता और साथी मनु मेहरा, डीआर जेई, गाजीपुर, यूपी (पूर्व) को नामित किया है ।  दोनों साथी BSNLEU के सदस्य हैं।  कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय ने BSNLEU द्वारा किए गए पुन: नामांकन को स्वीकार किया और संयुक्त वेतन वार्ता समिति के कर्मचारी पक्ष का पुनर्गठन करते हुए पत्र जारी किया है ।  ये दोनों साथी दिनांक 28-11-2022 को होने वाली संयुक्त वेतन वार्ता समिति की बैठक में शामिल होंगे । 

After the 9th Membership Verification, BSNLEU is once again granted recognition as the Main Recognised Union. Following this, BSNLEU has made two changes to the Staff Side of the Joint Wage Negotiating Committee. BSNLEU has nominated Com. Suresh Kumar, DR JE, Kolkata and Com. Manu Mehra, DR JE, Ghazipur, UP(East). Both the comrades are members of BSNLEU. The Corporate Office has accepted the re-nominations made by BSNLEU and has issued letter, re-constituting the Staff Side of the Joint Wage Negotiating Committee. Both these comrades will attend the meeting of the Joint Wage Negotiating Committee, to be held on 28-11-2022.

Shri Mahesh Shukla, Member(Services), Telecom Commission, visited Aurangabad yesterday. Utilising this opportunity, Com. John Verghese, Dy. General Secretary, BSNLEU,  met the Member (Services) and urged upon him to settle the Wage Revision issue. Com. John Verghese apprised the Member (Services) that, a large number of employees were suffering from Stagnation, and that this problem could be settled only through the settlement of Wage Revision. 

The Member (Services) replied that, the Wage Revision agreement of the Non-Executives should be signed between the unions and the BSNL Management aexpeditiously and sent to the DoT for approval. Together with Com. John Verghese, Dy.GS, Com.Ravi Patil, Assistant Circle secretary, BSNLEU, Com. Shivaji Chauhan, District Secretary, NFTE, Prabhat Kumar, SNEA, Avinash Pundkar, also met the Member (Services). CHQ appreciates the initiative.

जियो उसी दिन समाप्त हो जाएगा जिस दिन बीएसएनएल का पुनरुद्धार होगा -  मीडिया कर्मी कहते हैं।

17.11.2022 को जंतर मंतर पर आयोजित बीएमएस धरने में भाग लेते हुए बीटीईयू बीएसएनएल नेताओं ने दावा किया कि मोदी सरकार ने बीएसएनएल को 4G और 5G दिया है। हालांकि, उन्होंने दावा किया कि केवल नौकरशाह अपना काम नहीं कर रहे हैं। इस पर मीडियाकर्मी ने जवाब दिया। उन्होंने बताया 'जियो के विज्ञापन में प्रधानमंत्री की फोटो आई थी। जिस दिन बीएसएनएल पुनर्जीवित हो जाएगा, वह जियो का अंत होगा। इसलिए यह सपना मत देखिए कि बीएसएनएल पुनर्जीवित हो जाएगा। इसका मतलब है कि प्रधानमंत्री मोदी पूरी तरह से जियो का समर्थन कर रहे हैं। इसलिए यह सपना मत देखिए कि बीएसएनएल कभी पुनर्जीवित होगा।  

सीएमडी बीएसएनएल एक सरकारी एजेंट हैं - बीटीईयू बीएसएनएल कहेता हैं।

बीएमएस ने 17.11.2022 को जंतर मंतर पर एक धरने का आयोजन किया। बीटीईयू बीएसएनएल बीएमएस से संबद्ध है। इसलिए, बीटीईयू बीएसएनएल के नेताओं ने भी इस धरने में भाग लिया। मीडिया से बात करते हुए बीटीईयू बीएसएनएल के नेताओं ने बताया कि सीएमडी बीएसएनएल एक सरकारी एजेंट (सरकार का दलाल) है । उन्होंने पूछा, सीएमडी बीएसएनएल एमटीएनएल को चलाने में सक्षम नहीं था, फिर वह बीएसएनएल को कैसे चला पाएगा ? बीटीईयू बीएसएनएल नेताओं ने यह भी बताया कि मोदी सरकार ने बीएसएनएल को दो पुनरुद्धार पैकेज दिए हैं लेकिन नौकरशाह अपना काम नहीं कर पा रहे हैं।
