Central and State government employees unions are fighting for the cancellation of the New Pension Scheme and restoration of the Old Pension Scheme (OPS). Implementation of the Old Pension Scheme has become one of the election promises in the assembly elections. We must understand that, this is the result of the struggles of the trade unions. Old Pension Scheme is already implemented in the states of Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Punjab. Recently, Congress Party came to power in Himachal Pradesh. Before election, it has promised to implement the Old Pension Scheme, if voted to power. Keeping this promise, the Himachal Pradesh cabinet in it’s first meeting, has taken decision to implement the Old Pension Scheme in the state.

बीएसएनएल वर्षों से निजी दूरसंचार कंपनियों को बढ़ावा दे रहा है।

बीएसएनएल वर्षों से निजी दूरसंचार कंपनियों को बढ़ावा दे रहा है। बीएसएनएल की 4G नेटवर्क सेवाओं में जितनी देरी होगी, निजी दूरसंचार कंपनियों को उतना ही फायदा होगा।  बीएसएनएल ने आधिकारिक तौर पर पुष्टि की है कि उसकी 4G नेटवर्क सेवाएं 2023 की दूसरी छमाही में प्रारंभ की जाएंगी। बीएसएनएल में हमने अब तक जिस तरह की देरी देखी है, बीएसएनएल से समयसीमा के वादे के बारे में सुनिश्चित नहीं किया जा सकता है।  इसलिए, परियोजना को 2024 में भी देरी हो सकती है।  मजे की बात यह होगी कि 2024 तक निजी दूरसंचार कंपनियों ने देश के अधिकांश हिस्सों में प्रमुख रूप से 5G सेवा शुरू कर दी होगी।  कई यूजर्स 4G से 5G पर स्विच करना शुरू कर देंगे।  उस वक्त बीएसएनएल शर्मनाक तरीके से उपभोक्ताओं के लिए 4G लॉन्च करने की कोशिश कर रहा होगा।

BSNL has been providing a boost to private telecom companies for years now. The more its 4G network services are delayed, the more private telecom companies will benefit. BSNL has also officially confirmed that its 4G network services will be launched in the second half of 2023. With the kind of delays that we have seen with BSNL so far, one can't be sure of the promise of timelines from BSNL. So, the project could be well delayed into 2024 as well.

What would be funny is that by 2024, the private telecom companies would have majorly rolled out 5G to most parts of the country. Many users would start switching to 5G from 4G. At that point, BSNL would be embarrassingly trying to launch 4G for consumers.

ब्रिटेन में हड़तालों की लहर ।

ब्रिटेन  'दो अंकों' की मुद्रास्फीति से जूझ रहा है और इससे श्रमजीवी वर्ग सबसे बुरी तरह प्रभावित हुआ है।  रेल कर्मचारी मुद्रास्फीति के बराबर वेतन वृद्धि की मांग को लेकर हड़तालों की एक श्रृंखला का आयोजन कर रहे हैं और अनिवार्य सेवानिवृत्ति के साथ-साथ बिना गार्ड के 'ड्राइवर-ओनली' ट्रेनों की शुरुआत का भी विरोध कर रहे हैं।  आरएमटी वह ट्रेड यूनियन है जो रेलवे की हड़ताल का नेतृत्व कर रही है।  ब्रिटेन में, रेलवे का पूरी तरह से निजीकरण कर दिया गया है और इसका स्वामित्व 15 निजी ट्रेन कंपनियों के पास है।  रेलकर्मी अकेले नहीं हैं जो लड़ रहे हैं।  डाक कर्मचारी, नर्स, बस चालक, राजमार्ग कर्मचारी और हवाई अड्डे के सामान संचालक भी लड़ रहे हैं।

Britain is reeling under a ‘double-digit’ inflation and the working class is the worst affected due to this. Rail workers are organising a series of strikes, demanding pay increase at par with inflation and are also opposing compulsory retirements as well as the introduction of ‘driver-only’ trains, without a guard. RMT is the trade union which is leading the railways strike. In Britain, railways are completely privatised and are being owned by 15 private train companies. Rail workers are not the only ones who are fighting. Postal workers, nurses, bus drivers, highway workers and airports baggage handlers are also fighting.

23-01-2023 को वेतन संशोधन पर नोन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स के सभी यूनियनों बैठक।

BSNLEU और एनएफटीई बीएसएनएल के महासचिवों ने वेतन संशोधन मुद्दे पर नोन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स के सभी यूनियनों की बैठक आयोजित करने का प्रस्ताव दिया है।  यह बैठक 23-01-2023 को 19:00 बजे ऑनलाइन आयोजित की जाएगी। नोन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स की यूनियनों के सभी महासचिवों को सूचना भेजी जा रही है।

वेज नेगोशिएशन में गतिरोध - BSNLEU और एनएफटीई बीएसएनएल ने सीएमडी, बीएसएनएल को संयुक्त पत्र लिखकर उनके हस्तक्षेप की मांग की।

साथी पी. अभिमन्यु, महासचिव, BSNLEU और साथी चंदेश्वर सिंह, महासचिव, एनएफटीई बीएसएनएल ने वेज नेगोशिएशन के संबंध में सीएमडी, बीएसएनएल को एक संयुक्त पत्र लिखा है।  पत्र में निम्नलिखित बिन्दुओं का उल्लेख किया गया है।

निम्नलिखित कारणों से नोन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स के वेज नेगोशिएशन में गतिरोध हुआ है  :  

1. नए वेतनमान दिनांक 27-07-2018 को आयोजित वेज नेगोशिएशन कमिटी की बैठक में नोन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स को पहले ही अंतिम रूप दे दिया गया है।  लेकिन, अब, प्रबंधन पेंशन अंशदान पर कंपनी के खर्च को कम करने के नाम पर उन वेतनमानों के न्यूनतम और अधिकतम में कटौती करना चाहता है।  तृतीय पीआरसी ने पहले ही एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स के वेतनमान दिए हैं।  बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन के पास उन वेतनमानों में कटौती करने की कोई शक्ति नहीं है।  फिर, प्रबंधन केवल नोन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स के वेतनमान में ही कटौती क्यों करना चाहता है ?
2. प्रबंधन का कहना है कि, वे अभी वेतन समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर नहीं करना चाहते हैं, लेकिन नोन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स के वेतनमान को केवल अंतिम रूप देना चाहते हैं और उन्हें डीओटी को भेजना चाहते हैं।  यह हमें मंजूर नहीं है।
3. प्रबंधन का कहना है कि, भत्तों को अभी संशोधित नहीं किया जा सकता है।  बीएसएनएल के गठन के बाद से कर्मचारियों के भत्तों में संशोधन नहीं किया गया है।  इसलिए भत्तों में संशोधन किया जाना चाहिए।

BSNLEU और एनएफटीई बीएसएनएल के दोनों महासचिवों ने गतिरोध को हल करने के लिए सीएमडी, बीएसएनएल के हस्तक्षेप की मांग की है।
