The Joint Forum of the Non-Executive Unions and Associations of BSNL has given call to the employees for organising lunch hour demonstrations on 07.02.2023 on the following demands:-

1. Immediate settlement of Wage Revision.
2. Implementation of New Promotion Policy for the Non-Executives.
3. Launching of BSNL’s 4G & 5G services without further delay.

The Joint Forum has issued notification today, to the CMD BSNL and the Secretary, Telecom, for organising the lunch hour demonstrations on 07.02.2023.

Notification has already been issued for holding the CEC meeting of BSNLEU online on 04.02.2023. The meeting will start sharply at 10:00 am and will continue up to 06:00 pm. All the Circle Secretaries and Central Office bearers are requested to kindly attend the meeting without fail. The link for the meeting will be sent on WhatsApp on 03.02.2023.

A meeting of the Trade Union International (Transports and Communications) was held online at 08:00 pm IST yesterday the 31-01-2023. Com.Ricardo(Chile), President of the TUI, presided over the meeting. Com.Ali Riza(Turkey), General Secretary, presented the agenda for the meeting. Com.P.Abhimanyu,GS, being the Convenor of the Communications Sector, participated in the meeting. Totally 20 office bearers of the TUI participated. Discussions mainly took place about improving the organisational structure of the TUI. In his deliberation, Com.P.Abhimanyu,GS, briefed on his efforts taken to bring more communications trade unions into the fold of the TUI. The meeting went on for 3 hours and took important decisions.

The Chennai circle union of BSNLEU held it’s circle executive committee meeting yesterday the 31-01-2023. The meeting is held in the union office at Flower Bazar. Com.Basha, Circle President, presided over. Com. Sridhara Subramanian, Circle, Secretary, welcomed everyone and presented the note for discussion. Com.P.Abhimanyu,GS, addressed the meeting and spoke in detail about the crucial issues of non-settlement of Wage Revision, need for the implementation of a New Promotion Policy, extreme delay in the launching of BSNL‘s 4G and 5G services and the formation of the Joint Forum of the Non-Executive unions and associations. He called on the district secretaries, and circle office bearers to meticulously implement the decisions of the Central Headquarters of the Union and strengthen the organisation in Chennai Telephones Circle. He also gave an appeal to strengthen the Joint Forum of the Non-Executive Unions and Associations. All the comrades participated in the discussion and decisions were taken for strengthening the Organisation.

The 10 Central Trade Unions which organised a National Convention at New Delhi yesterday have adopted the following Declaration. CHQ requests the circle and district secretaries to give wide publicity to this Declaration.

10 Central Trade Unions organised a Convention at New Delhi yesterday, the 30.01.2023, to deliberate and decide on action programme to defeat the anti-worker, anti-people and anti-national policies of the Central Government. The Convention was addressed by the Central Trade Union leaders, including Com.Tapan Sen, GS, CITU, Com.Ashok Kumar Singh, VP, INTUC, Com.Amarjeet Kaur, GS, AITUC, Com.Harbajan Singh, GS, HMS and others. The Convention decided to organise state level Conventions, state wide Jathas, culminating into statewide Mahapadav on the Quit India Day which falls on 9^thAugust, 2023. Further, the Convention resolved to campaign against communal hatred and polarisation to break the united agitations of workers and farmers. It is also decided to organise nationwide strike action at the end of the year.    

नोन एक्ज़ीक्यूटिव यूनियनों और एसोसिएशनों के संयुक्त फोरम का गठन - सीएमडी, बीएसएनएल और सचिव, दूरसंचार को सूचित किया गया है।

जैसा कि पहले ही सूचित किया जा चुका है, नोन एक्ज़ीक्यूटिव यूनियनों और एसोसिएशनों का संयुक्त फोरम 23.01.2023 को गठित किया गया है ।  संयुक्त फोरम के गठन की सूचना देते हुए आज बीएसएनएल के सीएमडी और दूरसंचार सचिव को पत्र लिखा गया है ।  पत्र में यह भी बताया गया है कि वेतन संशोधन, नई पदोन्नति नीति और बीएसएनएल द्वारा 4G और 5G की शुरूआत ऐसे मुद्दे हैं जिन पर संयुक्त फोरम द्वारा ध्यान केंद्रित किया जाएगा।

As has already been intimated, the Joint Forum of the Non-Executive Unions and Associations is formed on 23.01.2023. Today, a letter has been written to the CMD BSNL and the Secretary, Telecom, intimating about the formation of the Joint Forum. It is also explained in the letter that, Wage Revision, New Promotion Policy and the launching of 4G and 5G by BSNL are the issues that would be focussed by the Joint Forum.
