It is known to the employees that, the BSNL Management is carrying out monetisation of assets, for the financial revival of the Company. However, it has been brought to the notice of the CHQ that, in Mumbai city, the Management is forcefully evicting employees from the quarters / colonies where they are living in. Employees and retirees are already forcefully evicted from Santacruz Wireless Colony and Panch Bungalow, Andheri Colony, in Mumbai city. Now, the Management wants to evict the employees from JB Nagar, Andheri Colony, Mumbai. Such forceful evictions are causing extreme hardship to the employees and their families. BSNLEU has written letter to the CMD BSNL today, demanding not to forcefully evict employees from their quarters / colonies, for the purpose of monetisation of assets.

The Corporate Office has issued the minutes of the Wage Revision Committee meeting held on 05.03.2024. In the last meeting, BSNLEU had objected that, the Management is issuing the minutes without consulting the Unions. Hence, this time, the draft minutes of the meeting held on 05.03.2024 was given to the Unions. Yesterday, BSNLEU submitted it’s views on the draft minutes. Based on this, the Management has issued the final minutes. Copies of the final minutes as well as the views expressed by BSNLEU on the draft minutes are enclosed for the information of our comrades.

The CHQ has already informed that, a meeting of the Central Executive Committee of BSNLEU will be held online on 21.03.2024. Notification for this meeting has already been issued. The BSNL Corporate Office also has already given approval to the CGMs for the sanctioning of Special Casual Leave to the CEC members for attending the meeting. The meeting will start sharply at 10:00 am. All CHQ office bearers, as well as Circle Secretaries, are requested to attend this meeting without fail. The Recruitment Branch of the Corporate Office has issued notification today for holding the JTO LICE under 50% quota for the Recruitment Year 2023. It is stated in the letter that, the date of the exam starting and last date for online registration would be informed separately. Copy of the notification is enclosed. 

Comrades are aware that BSNLEU will be having a Formal meeting with the Director (HR) on 19.03.2024. Agenda for it’s meeting has already been submitted to the Management on 20.02.2024. The letter containing the items for discussion is once again enclosed for the information of our comrades. 

नेतन्याहू वास्तव में इज़राइल को नुकसान पहुंचा रहे हैं - जो बिडेन कहते हैं।

इजराइल ने गाजा में करीब 30,000 फिलिस्तीनियों को मार डाला है। इजराइल द्वारा युद्धविराम पर संयुक्त राष्ट्र के प्रस्तावों का खुलेआम उल्लंघन किया जा रहा है। इजरायल को हमेशा से हथियार और गोला-बारूद सप्लाई करने वाला अमेरिका कहने लगा है कि इजरायल को अब हमले बंद कर देने चाहिए। लेकिन, इजराइल सुन नहीं रहा है।  इसी पृष्ठभूमि में अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति जो बाइडन ने कहा है कि इजरायली प्रधानमंत्री नेतन्याहू असल में देश को नुकसान पहुंचा रहे हैं। जो बिडेन का कथन निम्नलिखित है : 

नेतन्याहू की सैन्य रणनीति का जिक्र करते हुए बिडेन ने कहा, "मेरे विचार में, वह इजरायल की मदद करने से ज्यादा इजरायल को नुकसान पहुंचा रहा है।" राष्ट्रपति ने नेतन्याहू का जिक्र करते हुए कहा, "यह इजराइल के विचारों के विपरीत है और मुझे लगता है कि यह एक बड़ी गलती है।  इसलिए मैं युद्धविराम देखना चाहता हूं।  वह हमास का पीछा करने के परिणामस्वरूप 30,000 से अधिक फिलिस्तीनियों को नहीं मार सकता।"

वेतन संशोधन - BSNLEU ने चेयरमैन को पत्र लिखकर पेंशन अंशदान से संबंधित जानकारी उपलब्ध कराने की मांग की है। 

वेतन पुनरीक्षण संयुक्त समिति की अगली बैठक 22.03.2024 को होने जा रही है।  इस पृष्ठभूमि में, BSNLEU ने वेतन संशोधन के लिए संयुक्त समिति के अध्यक्ष को पत्र लिखकर पेंशन अंशदान के भुगतान के संबंध में विवरण प्रस्तुत करने का अनुरोध किया है।  मांगी गई जानकारी है, 01.01.2024 तक नोन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स और एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स के लिए पेंशन योगदान;  27.07.2018 को आयोजित वेतन संशोधन समिति की बैठक में और दिसंबर, 2022 में प्रबंधन द्वारा प्रस्तावित वेतनमान के लिए सहमत वेतनमान के आधार पर नोन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स के लिए 0% और 5% फिटमेंट के लिए प्रत्याशित पेंशन योगदान।  तीसरे पीआरसी द्वारा अनुशंसित वेतनमान के आधार पर एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स के लिए अपेक्षित पेंशन अंशदान व्यय भी मांगा गया है। महासचिव, BSNLEU ने स्टाफ पक्ष के सदस्यों के बीच आंतरिक चर्चा को सुविधाजनक बनाने के लिए 22.03.2024 को होने वाली अगली बैठक से पहले ये जानकारी प्रस्तुत करने का अनुरोध किया है।

BSNLEU और निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) के बीच औपचारिक बैठक 19.03.2024 को होगी।

BSNLEU ने कर्मचारियों के कुछ महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दों पर चर्चा करने के लिए निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) के साथ औपचारिक बैठक की मांग की है। निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) ने बैठक देने के लिए सहमति दी है।  एसआर शाखा ने बताया है कि यह औपचारिक बैठक दिनांक 19.03.2024 को होगी। इस बैठक के लिए आधिकारिक अधिसूचना शीघ्र ही जारी की जाएगी। बैठक सुबह 11:00 बजे बीएसएनएल कॉरपोरेट कार्यालय में 9वीं मंजिल के सम्मेलन हॉल में शुरू होगी। 

BSNLEU has sought a Formal meeting with the Director (HR) for discussing certain important staff issues. The Director (HR) has kindly consented to grant the meeting. The SR Branch has informed that this Formal Meeting will be held on 19.03.2024. Official notification for this meeting will be issued shortly.
