It is an open secret that, through the Electoral Bonds, the big corporates have pumped in huge money to the ruling party, for getting favours from the government. On 15th February, 2024, the Supreme Court of India gave a historic judgement quashing the Electoral Bonds Scheme. The Supreme Court also directed the State Bank of India (SBI) to provide all details of the Electoral Bonds by 6th March. However, the SBI has now sought extension of time till 30th June, 2024, for providing the details. Every body knows that, the Parliament election will be over by 30th June. Bank union leaders say that, totally  23,000 Electoral Bonds have been issued and  29 branches of the SBI are involved in this. They also say that, SBI is having a highly computerised system and the details sought by the Supreme Court of India can be provided within half an hour. But, the SBI has wantonly sought time till 30th June.  The action of SBI is nothing but only a delaying tactics, for hiding the facts from the people of this country. It is also important to note that, recently the chairman of the SBI has got extension of service after his retirement. So, it is not difficult for us to understand what actually is happening. SBI is trying to save someone.

भारतीय स्टेट बैंक ( एसबीआई )  किसे बचाने की कोशिश कर रहा है ?

यह एक खुला रहस्य है कि चुनावी बॉण्ड के माध्यम से बड़े कॉरपोरेट्स ने सरकार से अनुग्रह प्राप्त करने के लिए सत्तारूढ़ दल को भारी मात्रा में धन दिया है। 15 फरवरी, 2024 को भारत के सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने चुनावी बॉण्ड योजना को रद्द करते हुए एक ऐतिहासिक फैसला सुनाया।  सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने भारतीय स्टेट बैंक ( एसबीआई ) को 6 मार्च तक चुनावी बॉण्ड के सभी विवरण उपलब्ध कराने का भी निर्देश दिया।  हालांकि, एसबीआई ने विवरण प्रदान करने के लिए अब 30 जून, 2024 तक का समय बढ़ाने की मांग की है। सब कोई जानतें है कि संसद का चुनाव 30 जून तक खत्म हो जाएगा।  बैंक यूनियन के नेताओं का कहना है कि कुल मिलाकर 23,000 चुनावी बॉन्ड जारी किए गए हैं  और इसमें एसबीआई की 29 शाखाएं शामिल हैं। उनका यह भी कहना है कि एसबीआई के पास अत्यधिक कम्प्यूटरीकृत प्रणाली है और भारत के सर्वोच्च न्यायालय द्वारा मांगी गई जानकारी आधे घंटे के भीतर प्रदान की जा सकती है।  लेकिन, एसबीआई ने मनमाने ढंग से 30 जून तक का समय मांगा है।  एसबीआई की कार्रवाई इस देश के लोगों से तथ्यों को छिपाने के लिए केवल देरी करने की रणनीति के अलावा कुछ नहीं है। गौरतलब है कि हाल ही में एसबीआई के चेयरमैन को रिटायरमेंट के बाद सेवा विस्तार मिला है।  इसलिए, हमारे लिए यह समझना मुश्किल नहीं है कि वास्तव में क्या हो रहा है।एसबीआई किसी को बचाने की कोशिश कर रहा है.

 BSNLEU is organising lunch-hour demonstrations throughout the country today, demanding withdrawal of the Corporate Office letter, vide which the 3 JTO LICEs conducted in Punjab circle for the vacancy years of 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017- 18 have been cancelled, after many years.This is a very big injustice. The decision for cancellation of these exams has been taken by the Corporate Management, on the plea that, JTOs are in surplus in Punjab circle. The results of the above mentioned 3 JTO LICEs are declared and promotions are given in many circles where JTOs  are surplus like UP (West),  UP (East), Bihar, West Bengal, etc. Then, what sin has the candidates of Punjab circle alone have committed? General Secretary, BSNLEU has already discussed this issue with the CMD BSNL and has appealed to declare the results of these exams immediately. Once again BSNLEU earnestly appeals to the CMD BSNL to intervene in this matter and to do the needful for the declaration of the results of these JTO LICEs. All the circle and district unions of BSNLEU are requested to organise this demonstration effectively and send report to the CHQ.

BSNLEU आज दोपहर के भोजन के समय प्रदर्शन का आयोजन कर रहा है, जिसमें कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय के पत्र को वापस लेने की मांग की गई है, जिसके तहत पंजाब सर्कल में आयोजित 3 जेटीओ एलआईसीई को रद्द कर दिया गया है।* BSNLEU कॉरपोरेट कार्यालय के उस पत्र को वापस लेने की मांग करते हुए आज पूरे देश में दोपहर के भोजन अवकाश के समय प्रदर्शन आयोजित कर रहा है, जिसके तहत 2015-16, 2016-17 और 2017-18 की वेकेन्सी के लिए पंजाब सर्कल में आयोजित 3 जेटीओ एलआईसीई को कई वर्षों के बाद रद्द कर दिया गया है। यह बहुत बड़ा अन्याय है। इन परीक्षाओं को रद्द करने का निर्णय कॉर्पोरेट प्रबंधन द्वारा इस दलील पर लिया गया है कि, पंजाब सर्कल में जेटीओ सरप्लस में हैं। उपर्युक्त 3 जेटीओ एलआईसीई के परिणाम घोषित किए गए हैं और कई सर्किलों में पदोन्नति दी गई है जहां जेटीओ सरप्लस हैं जैसे उत्तर प्रदेश (पश्चिम), उत्तर प्रदेश (पूर्व), बिहार, पश्चिम बंगाल, आदि। फिर, पंजाब सर्कल के उम्मीदवारों ने क्या पाप किया है, अकेले ही अपराध किया है ? BSNLEU के महासचिव ने पहले ही इस मुद्दे पर सीएमडी बीएसएनएल के साथ चर्चा की है और इन परीक्षाओं के परिणाम तुरंत घोषित करने की अपील की है। एक बार फिर BSNLEU सीएमडी बीएसएनएल से इस मामले में हस्तक्षेप करने और इन जेटीओ एलआईसीई के परिणामों की घोषणा के लिए आवश्यक कदम उठाने की अपील करता है। BSNLEU के सभी सर्कल और जिला यूनियनों से अनुरोध है कि वे इस प्रदर्शन को प्रभावी ढंग से आयोजित करें और सीएचक्यू को रिपोर्ट भेजें।

Since there was no outcome in today’s Wage Revision Committee meeting, leaders of both BSNLEU and NFTE met the CMD BSNL. Com.Animesh Mitra, President and Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS from BSNLEU and Islam Ahmed, President and Com.Chandeshwar Singh, GS from NFTE, participated. The leaders urged upon the CMD BSNL to ensure the implementation of the Non-Executive pay scales already agreed in the Wage Revision Committee meeting in 2018. In reply to this, the CMD BSNL told that the pay scales now being offered by the Management Side will ensure that 95% employees will not face any stagnation, after the Wage Revision. Further, he told that implementing the longer pay scales agreed to in 2018, will result in heavy expenditure to the Company on account of Pension Contribution. Detailed arguments placed by the union representatives could not convince the CMD BSNL. It was also indicated by the CMD BSNL that the dates for the General Election are going to be announced within a few days, after which Management will not be in a position to sign the Wage Revision agreement, till the General Election is over.

संयुक्त वेतन वार्ता समिति की बैठक आज आयोजित हुई.  BSNLEU और एनएफटीई के सभी प्रतिनिधियों ने भाग लिया। दोनों यूनियनों ने पुरजोर मांग की कि 2018 में प्रबंधन पक्ष और यूनियन दोनों द्वारा पारस्परिक रूप से सहमत वेतनमान को लागू किया जाना चाहिए। यूनियनों ने छोटे वेतनमान लागू होने से उत्पन्न होने वाली समस्याओं के बारे में बताया। हालांकि, प्रबंधन इस पर सहमत नहीं हुआ. लंबी चर्चाएं हुईं. *समिति की अगली बैठक 22.03.2024 को होगी।

A meeting of the Joint Wage Negotiating Committee is held today. All the representatives of BSNLEU and NFTE participated. Both the Unions strongly demanded that the pay scales mutually agreed to by both the Management Side, as well as the Unions in 2018 should be implemented. The Unions explained about the problems that would arise due to the implementation of shorter pay scales. However, the Management did not agree. Lengthy discussions took place. The next meeting of the Committee will be held on 22.03.2024.
