Ever since, Jio, Airtel and Vodafone Idea raised their tariffs steeply, they are steadily losing their customers. Since BSNL did not raise it’s tariff, customers continue to come to BSNL in large numbers. As per TRAI report, BSNL has gained 8.49 lakh customers in September, 2024, whereas, Jio has lost 79 lakh customers. Airtel has lost 14 lakh customers and Vodafone Idea has lost 15 lakh customers in the same month. BSNL is the only company which has gained new customers in the months of July, August and September, 2024.

अमेरिकी अदालत ने भारतीय अरबपति गौतम अडानी पर धोखाधड़ी और रिश्वतखोरी का आरोप लगाया।

एक अमेरिकी अदालत ने भारतीय अरबपति गौतम अडानी और सात अन्य पर धोखाधड़ी और रिश्वतखोरी का आरोप लगाया है। रिश्वतखोरी के आरोप में 250 मिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर की राशि शामिल है, जिसे सौर ऊर्जा अनुबंध प्राप्त करने के लिए भारतीय सरकारी अधिकारियों को भुगतान करने का वादा किया गया था। गौतम अडानी पर प्रतिभूति धोखाधड़ी करने की साजिश रचने और “झूठे और भ्रामक बयान” देकर अमेरिकी निवेशकों और वैश्विक वित्तीय संस्थानों को धोखा देने के लिए “एक बहु-अरब डॉलर की योजना” चलाने का भी आरोप है। इस आरोप का खुलासा न्यूयॉर्क के पूर्वी जिले के अमेरिकी अटॉर्नी कार्यालय ने 20 नवंबर को किया।

बीएसएनएल एमआरएस कार्ड के रिवेलीडेशन के लिए लाइफ सर्टिफ़िकेट की डिजिटल कॉपी पर्याप्त  - कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय ने जारी किया पत्र।

अभी तक सेवानिवृत्त कर्मचारियों को हर साल अपने बीएसएनएल एमआरएस कार्ड को रिवेलीडेशन कराना होता था। इस कार्ड का रिवेलीडेशन संबंधित बी.ए. में किया जाता था, जिसके लिए सेवानिवृत्त व्यक्ति को व्यक्तिगत रूप से उपस्थित होना होता था। सेवानिवृत्त कर्मचारियों को अपने बीएसएनएल एमआरएस कार्ड को रिवेलीडेशन कराने में आ रही कठिनाइयों को देखते हुए कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय ने अब यह निर्णय लिया है कि जीवन प्रमाण पोर्टल के माध्यम से प्राप्त लाइफ सर्टिफ़िकेट की डिजिटल प्रति प्रस्तुत करके बीएसएनएल एमआरएस कार्ड को रिवेलिडेट कराया जा सकता है। कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय द्वारा उठाया गया यह एक अच्छा कदम है, जिससे सेवानिवृत्त कर्मचारियों को अपने बीएसएनएल एमआरएस कार्ड को रिवेलिडेट कराने में आ रही कठिनाइयों से मुक्ति मिलेगी। हमारे सभी साथियों के संदर्भ के लिए बीएसएनएल कॉर्पोरेट ऑफिस के पत्र की प्रति संलग्न है।

Until now, the retired employees are required to re-validate their BSNL MRS card every year. The revalidation of this card was being done in the concerned BA, for which the retired person is required to be present in person. Considering the hardships being experienced by the retired employees in revalidating their BSNL MRS card, the Corporate Office has now decided that, the BSNL MRS card can be revalidated, by producing a digital copy of the life certificate, obtained through the Jeevan Pramaan portal. This is a good step taken by the Corporate Office, which will eliminate the hardships experienced by retired employees in revalidating their BSNL MRS card. Copy of the BSNL CO letter is enclosed for the reference of our comrades.

A US court has accused Indian billionaire Gautam Adani and seven others with charges of fraud and bribery. The bribery charge includes an amount of 250 million US dollars, promised to be paid to Indian government officials, for getting a solar energy contract. Gautam Adani is also accused of conspiracies to commit securities fraud, and orchestrating “a multi-billion dollar scheme” to defraud U.S. investors and global financial institutions by giving “false and misleading statements”. The accusation was revealed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York on November 20th.

कर्मचारियों से मिलिए अभियान” 25 नवम्बर से 06 दिसम्बर, 2024 तक आयोजित किया जाएगा - सीएचक्यू ने सर्किल एवं जिला यूनियनों से कार्यक्रम को प्रभावी ढंग से आयोजित करने की अपील की।

कोलकाता सीईसी बैठक के निर्णय के अनुसार अखिल भारतीय केन्द्र ने सर्किल एवं जिला यूनियनों से 25.11.2024 से 06.12.2024 तक “कर्मचारियों से मिलिए अभियान” आयोजित करने का आह्वान किया है। इस अभियान के दौरान सर्किल, जिला एवं शाखा स्तर के नेता प्रत्येक नॉन एक्ज़ीक्यूटिव कर्मचारी से मिलें तथा सरकार की नीतियों एवं कर्मचारियों की समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए BSNLEU द्वारा किए जा रहे प्रयासों के बारे में बताएं। वेतन संशोधन मुद्दे पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जाए। सीएचक्यू ने पहले ही अंग्रेजी एवं हिंदी में पर्चे छपवाकर सर्किलों को भेज दिए हैं। गैर-हिंदी भाषी सर्किलों से सीएचक्यू ने अनुरोध किया है कि वे संदेश का क्षेत्रीय भाषाओं में अनुवाद करें तथा पर्याप्त संख्या में पर्चे छपवाएं। "कर्मचारियों से मिलिए अभियान" के दौरान, यह पैम्फलेट प्रत्येक नॉन एक्ज़ीक्यूटिव कर्मचारी को वितरित किया जाना चाहिए, चाहे वे किसी भी यूनियन से संबंधित हों। सीएचक्यू सर्कल और जिला यूनियनों से अनुरोध करता है कि वे इस "कर्मचारियों से मिलिए अभियान" को सफलतापूर्वक आयोजित करें। 

As per the decision of the Kolkata CEC meeting, the All India Centre has called on the circle and district unions to conduct the “Meet the Employees Campaign” from 25.11.2024 to 06.12.2024. During this campaign, the circle, district and branch level leaders should meet each and every Non-Executive employee and explain about the policies of the government and efforts being taken by BSNLEU to solve the problems of employees. Special focus should be made on the Wage Revision issue. The CHQ has already printed pamphlets in English and Hindi and despatched to the circles. Non-Hindi speaking circles have been requested by the CHQ to translate the matter into the regional languages and to print pamphlets in sufficient numbers. During the “Meet the Employees Campaign”, this pamphlet should be distributed to each and every Non-Executive employee, irrespective of the union they belong to. CHQ requests the circle and district unions to successfully organise this “Meet the Employees Campaign”.

दूरसंचार विभाग द्वारा भर्ती कर प्रशिक्षण के लिए भेजे गए कर्मचारी - माननीय सुप्रीम कोर्ट के 26-07-2024 के आदेश के लाभ से वंचित - BSNLEU ने श्री ज्योतिरादित्य को पत्र लिखा सिंधिया, माननीय संचार मंत्री और उनके हस्तक्षेप की मांग की।

बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों का एक वर्ग मूल रूप से दूरसंचार विभाग द्वारा भर्ती कर प्रशिक्षण के लिए भेजा जाता है। हालांकि, जब तक वे अपना प्रशिक्षण पूरा करते हैं, तब तक बीएसएनएल का गठन हो चुका होता है। उन सभी कर्मचारियों की नियुक्ति बीएसएनएल में की जाती है। हालांकि, चूंकि वे दूरसंचार विभाग द्वारा भर्ती किए गए हैं, इसलिए उन्हें दूरसंचार विभाग द्वारा भर्ती किया जाना चाहिए था और उन्हें प्रेसिडेंशियल ऑर्डर जारी किया जाना चाहिए था। लेकिन, उन्हें केवल बीएसएनएल द्वारा भर्ती किया गया माना गया। BSNLEU ने उनका मामला उठाया और बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन और दूरसंचार विभाग के समक्ष बहस की। हालांकि, दूरसंचार विभाग ने BSNLEU की मांग को स्वीकार नहीं किया। इस स्थिति में, प्रभावित कर्मचारियों के एक वर्ग ने माननीय कैट की विभिन्न पीठों से संपर्क किया। माननीय कैट ने प्रभावित कर्मचारियों के पक्ष में फैसला सुनाया। इन निर्णयों के खिलाफ, बीएसएनएल ने संबंधित माननीय उच्च न्यायालयों में अपील की। ​​सभी माननीय उच्च न्यायालयों ने भी कर्मचारियों के पक्ष में निर्णय दिया। इसके बाद, बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन ने भारत के माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय में अपील की। ​​अंत में, 26-07-2023 को भारत के माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने भी प्रभावित कर्मचारियों के पक्ष में निर्णय सुनाया। लेकिन, 22-2-2024 को डीओटी ने एक आदेश जारी किया जिसमें कहा गया कि 26-07-2024 के माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के आदेश का लाभ केवल उन कर्मचारियों के संबंध में लागू किया जाएगा जिन्होंने अदालत में मामला दायर किया था। यह आदेश उन प्रभावित कर्मचारियों को माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के आदेश का लाभ देने से इनकार करता है जिन्होंने अदालत का दरवाजा नहीं खटखटाया। BSNLEU लगातार इस मुद्दे को बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन और दूरसंचार विभाग के सामने उठा रहा है। आज BSNLEU ने एक बार फिर माननीय संचार मंत्री श्री ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधिया को पत्र लिखकर इस मामले में हस्तक्षेप करने तथा माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के दिनांक 26-07-2023 के आदेश का क्रियान्वयन प्रभावित कर्मचारियों तक सुनिश्चित करने का अनुरोध किया है, चाहे उन्होंने न्यायालय में मामला दायर किया हो या नहीं।

A section of the BSNL employees are originally recruited and sent for training by the DoT. However, by the time they completed their training, BSNL is formed. All those employees are appointed in BSNL. However, since they are recruited by the DoT, they should have been treated as DoT recruitees and Presidential Orders should have been issued to them. But, they were treated as BSNL recruitees only. BSNLEU took up their case and argued before BSNL Management and the DoT. However, DoT did not accept BSNLEU's demand. Under this situation, a section of the affected employees approached various benches of the Hon'ble CAT. Hon'ble CATs delivered judgement in favour of the affected employees. Against these judgements, BSNL appealed in the respective Hon'ble High Courts. All the Hon'ble High courts also gave judgment in favour of the employees. Thereafter, BSNL Management appealed in the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. Finally, on 26-07-2023, the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India also delivered judgement in favour of the affected employees. But, on 22-2-2024, the DoT issued an order stating that, the benefit of the Hon'ble Supreme Court order dated 26-07-2024 would be implemented only in respect of the employees who filed case in the court. This order denies the benefit of the Hon'ble Supreme Court order to the affected employees who did not approach the court. BSNLEU is continuously raising this issue with the BSNL Management and the DoT. Today, BSNLEU has once again written letter to shri Jyotiraditya Scindia, Hon'ble Minister of Communications, requesting him to intervene in this matter and to ensure implementation of the order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court dated 26-07-2023, to the affected employees, irrespective of whether they have filed case in the court or not.
