The All India Conference of SEWA BSNL was held at New Delhi on 19^th November, 2024 in Dr. Ambedkar International Centre. Com.N.D.Ram, General Secretary, SEWA BSNL, welcomed everyone. On behalf of BSNLEU, Com.Animesh Mitra, President, attended this conference and addressed the Open Session. In his address, Com. Animesh Mitra explained about the anti-BSNL policies of the government and also explained how BSNL employees are being denied of their Wage Revision. The Conference was also addressed by the leaders of other unions and associations of BSNL. The CHQ of BSNLEU heartily congratulates SEWA BSNL for its successful All India Conference. BSNLEU also greets the newly elected office bearers of SEWA BSNL.

In the BSNL Athletics meet, held in Guwahati from 11^th to 13^th November, 2024, a good number of BSNLEU office bearers have won medals. Yesterday we gave some details. Apart from that, Com.Puneet Kumar, Circle Secretary, BSNLEU, UP (West), has won Gold medal in the 81 kg weightlifting. He has also won Silver medal in the 93 kg powerlifting. CHQ heartily congratulates Com.Puneet Kumar, for winning double medals. Apart from this, Com.P.Thangaraj, TT, Salem, Tamil Nadu, has won Silver medal in powerlifting. Com.J. Edukondalu, ADS, BSNLEU, Nalgonda, Telangana circle, has won Bronze medal in the 120 kg category weightlifting.  

मोबाइल हैंडसेट की लागत की प्रतिपूर्ति की सुविधा छूटे हुए नॉन एक्ज़ीक्यूटिव केडर के लोगों को भी मिले – BSNLEU ने निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) को लिखा पत्र।

दिनांक 07.05.2024 को बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन ने मोबाइल हैंडसेट की लागत की प्रतिपूर्ति की वित्तीय सीमा को बढ़ाते हुए पत्र जारी किया। इसके तत्काल बाद 08.05.2024 को BSNLEU ने प्रबंधन को एक कड़ा पत्र लिखकर मांग की कि मोबाइल हैंडसेट की लागत की प्रतिपूर्ति की सुविधा सभी नॉन एक्ज़ीक्यूटिव केडर को भी दी जाए। इसके बाद BSNLEU ने कई मौकों पर प्रबंधन के समक्ष इस मांग को जोरदार तरीके से उठाया। दिनांक 08.11.2024 को साथी पी अभिमन्यु, महासचिव ने निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) के साथ बैठक की। उस बैठक में प्रबंधन ने बताया कि जेई संवर्ग को मोबाइल हैंडसेट की लागत की प्रतिपूर्ति की सुविधा देने के लिए कार्रवाई की जा रही है। महासचिव ने प्रबंधन के इस निर्णय का स्वागत किया। साथ ही उन्होंने पुरजोर मांग की कि यह सुविधा सीनियर टीओए, टीटी और एटीटी सहित नॉन एक्ज़ीक्यूटिव की अन्य सभी केडर को भी दी जानी चाहिए। आज BSNLEU ने निदेशक (मानव संसाधन ) को एक विस्तृत पत्र लिखकर छूटे हुए नॉन एक्ज़ीक्यूटिव केडर को भी मोबाइल हैंडसेट की लागत प्रतिपूर्ति की सुविधा देने की मांग की है। BSNLEU इस मांग को प्रबंधन के समक्ष तब तक उठाता रहेगा, जब तक इसका समाधान नहीं हो जाता। 

On 07.05.2024, BSNL Management issued letter, enhancing the financial limit for the reimbursement of mobile handset cost. Immediately, on 08.05.2024, BSNLEU wrote a strong letter to the Management, demanding that the facility of reimbursing the cost of mobile handset, should be extended to all the Non-Executives also. Thereafter, BSNLEU strongly raised this demand before the Management on several occasions. On 08.11.2024, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, held a meeting with the Director (HR). In that meeting, the Management informed that, action was being taken to extend the facility of reimbursing the cost of mobile handsets to the JE cadre. The General Secretary welcomed this decision of the Management. At the same time, he strongly demanded that, this facility should be extended to all the other categories of the Non-Executives, including the Sr.TOA, TT and ATT. Today, BSNLEU has written a detailed letter to the Director (HR), demanding the extension of the facility of reimbursing the cost of mobile handsets to the left out Non-Executive cadres also. BSNLEU will continue to pursue this demand with the Management, till it is settled.

This Meet is held in Guwahati from 11th to 13th November, 2024. Com.Vipin Soni won Gold Medal in the 93 kg - 105 kg category weight lifting. Similarly, Com.Pankaj Atri, Circle President, BSNLEU, Corporate Office, has won Silver Medal in the 120 kg category weight lifting. Com.Devendar Kumar, Assistant Circle Secretary, BSNLEU, Corporate Office, has won Bronze Medal in the 72 kg category weight lifting. *विभिन्न नॉन एक्ज़ीक्यूटिव  संवर्गों का स्कील अपग्रेडेशन - BSNLEU ने विस्तृत प्रस्ताव प्रस्तुत किए।*

BSNLEU ने मांग की है कि टीटी और एटीटी को कंप्यूटर संचालन में प्रशिक्षण प्रदान किया जाना चाहिए। इसके अलावा BSNLEU ने यह भी मांग की है कि टीटी और एटीटी को प्रशिक्षण के बाद एफटीटीएच सेगमेंट में तैनात किया जाना चाहिए। इसके बाद, प्रबंधन ने नॉन एक्ज़ीक्यूटिव संवर्गों के "क्षमता निर्माण" (स्कील अपग्रेडेशन) के लिए कुछ प्रस्ताव दिए हैं और BSNLEU के विचार मांगे हैं। BSNLEU ने आज प्रबंधन को एक विस्तृत पत्र लिखा है जिसमें मांग की गई है कि, सभी नॉन एक्ज़ीक्यूटिव संवर्गों का स्कील अपग्रेडेशन किया जाना चाहिए। इसके अलावा, BSNLEU ने विभिन्न नॉन एक्ज़ीक्यूटिव संवर्गों के स्कील अपग्रेडेशन के लिए विस्तृत प्रस्ताव भी प्रस्तुत किए हैं।

BSNLEU has already informed that, the meeting of the Wage Negotiating Committee could not be held due to the illness of Shri R.K. Goyal, Chairman of the Wage Negotiating Committee and also death of the father of Shri Saurabh Tyagi, a Management Side member of the Wage Negotiating Committee. BSNLEU has already requested the Director (HR) to appoint a new Chairman to the Wage Negotiating Committee and also to hold meeting of the Wage Negotiating Committee, at the earliest. Today, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, discussed this issue with Ms. Anita Johri, PGM(SR). It was replied by the PGM(SR) that, the Management is on the job of appointing a new Chairman of the Wage Negotiating Committee and that this job would be completed soon. The General Secretary requested the PGM(SR) to complete reconstitution of the Wage Negotiating Committee at the earliest and also to hold a meeting of the Committee without delay.

BSNLEU has demanded that TTs and ATTs should be provided with training in computer operations. Further BSNLEU has also demanded that, the TTs and ATTs should be posted in the FTTH segment after training. Thereafter, Management has given certain proposals for on "Capacity Building" (skill upgradation) of certain Non-Executive cadres and has sought the views of BSNLEU. BSNLEU has written a detailed letter to the Management today demanding that, skill upgradation of all the Non-Executive cadres should be undertaken. Further, BSNLEU has also submitted detailed proposals for the skill upgradation of various Non-Executive cadres.

CHQ is saddened to know that, Mrs. Sarla devi, mother of Com. Tilak Raj Tiwari, Organising Secretary(CHQ) has passed away today morning. Mrs.Sarla devi was 82 years old. she had been unwell for some time, due to age related ailments. CHQ conveys it's heartfelt condolences to Com. Tilak Raj Tiwari and all his family members.
