The whole Nation is paying homage to Mahatma Gandhi today. It was on this day in 1948, Mahatma Gandhi was shot dead by Nathuram Godse's three bullets. Mahatma Gandhi was a staunch Ram bhakt. Even when falling to the ground, after being hit by Nathuram godse's bullets, Mahatma Gandhi was saying " Hey Ram"- means "Oh! Lord Ram". While paying our respectful homage to Mahatma Gandhi, we should not forget why he was killed. Mahatma Gandhi was killed because he stood for Hindu - Muslim unity. Mahatma Gandhi advocated religious tolerance. He believed that, people belonging to all religions should live peacefully in this country. It is for this reason that, he was killed by a religious fanatic, Nathuram Godse. BSNLEU believes in the religious tolerance advocated by Mahatma Gandhi. BSNLEU pays respectful homage to Mahatma Gandhi and pledges to carry forward his legacy of religious tolerance.

श्रमिक वर्ग को भारत के आधुनिक गुलामों में मत बदलो।

मोदी सरकार भारतीय श्रमिक वर्ग को भारत के आधुनिक गुलामों में बदलने के लिए हरसंभव प्रयास कर रही है। हमारे देश की आजादी से पहले और बाद में, भारतीय श्रमिक वर्ग ने अपने ट्रेड यूनियन अधिकारों को लागू करवाने के लिए वीरतापूर्ण संघर्ष किए हैं और अपार बलिदान दिए हैं। परिणामस्वरूप, भारतीय श्रमिक वर्ग के विभिन्न अधिकारों की रक्षा के लिए भारत में 29 श्रम कानून लागू किए गए हैं। यह समझना होगा कि ये 29 श्रम कानून शासकों की दया से नहीं, बल्कि भारतीय श्रमिक वर्ग के संघर्षों और बलिदानों से लागू किए गए थे। यह एक त्रासदी है कि, मोदी सरकार ने इन सभी 29 श्रम कानूनों को खत्म कर दिया है और 29 श्रम कानूनों के स्थान पर चार श्रम संहितायें ला रही है। मोदी सरकार द्वारा पेश किए जा रहे चार श्रम संहितायें पूरी तरह से कॉर्पोरेट समर्थक, नियोक्ता समर्थक और श्रमिक वर्ग विरोधी हैं। इन चार श्रम संहिताओं को श्रमिक वर्ग के ट्रेड यूनियन अधिकारों को कुचलने के लिए चतुराई से तैयार किया गया है। भारत के 10 केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियन इन चार श्रम संहिताओं का पुरजोर विरोध कर रहे हैं। दस 10 केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों ने चार श्रम संहिताओं को खत्म करने और निरस्त 29 श्रम कानूनों को बहाल करने की मांग करते हुए एक आम हड़ताल आयोजित करने का फैसला किया है (तारीख अभी तय नहीं हुई है)। 12 जनवरी 2025 को आयोजित BSNLEU की केंद्रीय कार्यकारी समिति की बैठक में बीएसएनएल में इस हड़ताल को सफल बनाने का फैसला किया गया है। सीएचक्यू द्वारा सर्किल और जिला यूनियनों से आह्वान किया जाता है कि वे केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों द्वारा घोषित किए जाने पर आम हड़ताल को पूरी तरह सफल बनाने के लिए पूरी तरह से तैयारी शुरू कर दें। हम मोदी सरकार को भारत के श्रमिक वर्ग को आधुनिक समय के गुलामों में बदलने की अनुमति नहीं देंगे। 

Deeply shocking news has come from Prayagraj. 30 pilgrims lost their lives and 60 pilgrims are seriously injured in a stampede that has taken place at Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. BSNLEU expresses it’s shock and grief over this tragedy. BSNLEU conveys it’s deep condolences to the families of the victims. 

The Modi government is taking all out efforts to convert the Indian working class into the modern day slaves of India. Before and after the independence of our country, the Indian working class has conducted heroic struggles and made immense sacrifices to get their trade union rights implemented. As a result, 29 Labour Laws have been implemented in India, to protect various rights of the Indian working class. It must be understood that these 29 Labour Laws were implemented not out of the mercy of the rulers, but out of the struggles and sacrifices of the Indian working class. It is a tragedy that, the Modi government has demolished all these 29 Labour Laws and is bringing four Labour Codes in the place of the 29 Labour Laws. The four Labour Codes being introduced by the Modi government are completely pro-corporate, pro- employer and anti-working class. These four Labour Codes have been cleverly designed to crush the trade union rights of the working class. The 10 Central Trade Unions of India are opposing these four Labour Codes tooth and nail. The 10 Central Trade Unions have decided to organise a General Strike, demanding to abolish the four Labour Codes and to restore the 29 Labour Laws ( date not yet finalised). The Central Executive Committee meeting of BSNLEU, held on 12th January 2025, has decided to make this strike successful in BSNL. Circle and district unions are called upon by the CHQ to start the preparations in right earnest, to make the General Strike a total success, as and when it is announced by the Central Trade Unions. We will not allow Modi government to convert the working class into modern day slaves of India.

अनुकंपा के आधार पर नियुक्ति देने पर लगी रोक हटाई जाए - सेवा के दौरान मृतक कर्मचारियों के आश्रितों को नियुक्ति देने पर विचार करें - BSNLEU ने एक बार फिर सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को लिखा पत्र।

बीएसएनएल में अनुकंपा के आधार पर नियुक्ति देने पर रोक लागू हुए 6 साल होने जा रहे हैं। शुरुआत में अनुकंपा के आधार पर नियुक्तियों को 3 साल की अवधि के लिए स्थगित रखा गया था। हालांकि, बाद में बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन ने इस पर स्थायी रोक लगा दी है। BSNLEU लगातार प्रबंधन को पत्र लिखकर अनुकंपा के आधार पर नियुक्ति पर लगी रोक हटाने की मांग कर रहा है। 07-06-2022 को भारत के माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने निर्णय दिया है, जिसमें सेवा के दौरान मृतक कर्मचारियों के आश्रितों को अनुकंपा के आधार पर नियुक्ति देने का निर्देश दिया गया है। BSNLEU ने प्रबंधन को पत्र लिखकर भारत के माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के इस फैसले को बीएसएनएल में लागू करने की मांग की है। हालांकि, बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन ने फैसले को लागू नहीं किया है। आज एक बार फिर BSNLEU ने सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को पत्र लिखकर अनुकंपा आधार पर नियुक्ति देने पर लगाई गई रोक हटाने की मांग की है। 

It is going to be 6 years, since the ban on granting Compassionate Ground Appointments is implemented in BSNL. Initially, Compassionate Ground Appointments were kept under abeyance for a period of 3 years. However, later on, the BSNL Management has imposed a permanent ban on it. BSNLEU is continuously writing letters to the Management, demanding to lift the ban on Compassionate Ground Appointments. On 07-06-2022, the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India has given judgement, directing to grant compassionate ground appointments to the wards of the employees who die in harness. BSNLEU has written letter to the Management, demanding to implement this judgement of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in BSNL. However, BSNL Management has not implemented the judgement. Today, once again, BSNEU has written letter to the CMD BSNL, demanding to lift the ban imposed on granting Compassionate Ground Appointments.

BSNLEU का 11वां अखिल भारतीय सम्मेलन - महासचिव ने कोयंबटूर में  उल्लासपूर्ण तैयारी बैठक को संबोधित किया।

कोयंबटूर, नीलगिरी और इरोड जिला यूनियनों की संयुक्त जिला कार्यकारी समिति की बैठक आज कोयंबटूर में हुई। यह बैठक BSNLEU के अगले अखिल भारतीय सम्मेलन की तैयारी के तौर पर आयोजित की गई है, जो कोयंबटूर में होने जा रहा है। बैठक की शुरुआत साथी  पी. अभिमन्यु, महासचिव  द्वारा यूनियन ध्वज फहराने के साथ हुई। इस बैठक में 150 से अधिक साथियों ने भाग लिया। साथी  एस. महेश्वरन, जिला सचिव, कोयंबटूर ने बैठक की अध्यक्षता की। साथी एस. बालू, जिला सचिव, इरोड ने सभी साथियों का स्वागत किया। साथी  पी. अभिमन्यु, महासचिव, साथी एस. चेलप्पा, सहायक महासचिव और साथी ए. बाबू राधाकृष्णन, सर्कल अध्यक्ष, तमिलनाडु सर्कल ने बैठक को संबोधित किया। साथी  एस. चेल्लप्पा, सहायक महासचिव ने परिवहन भत्ते पर विकास के बारे में बताया और एनईपीपी और ईपीपी के बीच भेदभाव को दूर करने की मांग की। बैठक को संबोधित करते हुए साथी  पी. अभिमन्यु, महासचिव  ने वेतन संशोधन, पेंशन संशोधन, द्वितीय वीआरएस, बीएसएनएल की 4G सेवा का आरंभ और अन्य मुद्दों पर बात की। महासचिव ने BSNLEU को मजबूत करने की आवश्यकता और कोयंबटूर में आयोजित होने वाले BSNLEU के आगामी अखिल भारतीय सम्मेलन को सफलतापूर्वक आयोजित करने के महत्व के बारे में बताया। 3 जिला यूनियनों के जिला कार्यकारी समिति के सदस्यों ने विचार-विमर्श में भाग लिया और अपने पूर्ण सहयोग का आश्वासन दिया। कई साथियों ने स्वेच्छा से आगामी अखिल भारतीय सम्मेलन के लिए अपने दान की घोषणा की, जो 1,76,000/- रुपये था। 

The Joint District Executive Committee meeting of Coimbatore, Nilgiris and Erode district unions is held at Coimbatore today. The meeting is held as a preparatory for the next All India Conference of BSNLEU, which is going to be held at Coimbatore. The meeting started with the hoisting of the Union flag by Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS. More than 150 comrades participated in this meeting. Com.S.Maheswaran, District Secretary, Coimbatore, presided over the meeting. Com.S. Balu, District Secretary, Erode, welcomed all the comrades. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, Com.S. Chellappa, AGS and Com.A. Babu Radhakrishnan, CP, Tamil Nadu circle, addressed the meeting. Com.S. Chellappa, AGS, explained about the developments on Transport Allowance and the demand for removal of discriminations between NEPP and EPP. Addressing the meeting, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, spoke on the issues of Wage Revision, Pension Revision, 2^nd VRS, BSNL’s 4G launching and other issues, The General Secretary, explained about the need to strengthen BSNLEU and the importance of successfully conducting the forthcoming All India Conference of BSNLEU, to be held at Coimbatore. District Executive Committee members of the 3 district unions participated in the deliberations and assured of their fullest cooperation. Many comrades voluntarily announced their donations for the forthcoming All India Conference which came to Rs.1,76,000/-.
