The continuous hike in petrol and diesel prices has become a serious burden on common people across the country. In the last 11 days alone, fuel prices have been increased four times, resulting in an overall hike of nearly Rs.8/- per litre. For example, in Kolkata, petrol price has reached Rs.113.47 per litre and diesel Rs.99.82. In Delhi, petrol crossed the Rs.100 mark for the first time and reached Rs.102.12, while diesel rose to Rs.95.20 per litre. In Mumbai, petrol is priced at Rs.111.21 and diesel at Rs.97.83. In Chennai, petrol costs Rs.107.77 per litre and diesel Rs.99.55. This continuous increase in fuel prices has badly affected poor and middle-class people. The prices of essential commodities and transportation are directly linked to petrol and diesel rates. As transportation costs increase, the prices of daily-use items also rise sharply, creating additional hardship for common people. In such a situation, the repeated hike in fuel prices by the central government within a short span of 11 days is a severe blow to the poor and middle sections of society. The Central Trade Unions have already reacted strongly against the continuous hike in fuel prices and demanded that the Central Government immediately review its decision in order to provide relief to poor and middle-class people.

बैंक खाते में सीएचक्यू  कोटे की राशि जमा करने में आ रही दिक्कतें – सभी सर्कल सेक्रेटरी कृपया ध्यान दें।
हाल ही में, सीएचक्यू  के संज्ञान में यह बात आई है कि कुछ सर्कलों में प्रशासन को सीएचक्यू  को कोटे की राशि भेजने में दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। बैंक अधिकारियों ने इस मामले के बारे में सीएचक्यू  को पहले ही विस्तार से सूचित कर दिया है। इसलिए, सभी सर्कल सेक्रेटरी से अनुरोध है कि यदि सीएचक्यू  कोटे की राशि भेजने से संबंधित बैंक के कामकाज में कोई समस्या आती है, तो वे तुरंत सीएचक्यू  से संपर्क करें। यह समस्या बैंक खाता बदलने के कारण उत्पन्न हुई है। पहले, यह खाता कॉर्पोरेशन बैंक में था। अब, इस खाते को यूनियन बैंक ऑफ इंडिया, वेस्ट पटेल नगर ब्रांच, नई दिल्ली में स्थानांतरित कर दिया गया है।

BSNLEU पश्चिम बंगाल सर्कल की विस्तारित सर्कल कार्यसमिति की बैठक सीटीओ, कोलकाता में सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हुई।

BSNLEU, पश्चिम बंगाल सर्कल की विस्तारित सर्कल कार्यसमिति की बैठक 21-22 मई 2026 को सीटीओ, कोलकाता में सफलतापूर्वक आयोजित की गई, जिसमें जिला सचिवों और सर्कल पदाधिकारियों ने भाग लिया। साथी  सुजॉय सरकार, सर्कल सचिव ने एक रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत की जिसमें बीएसएनएल की समग्र स्थिति और हाल ही में हुई केंद्रीय सचिवालय की बैठक के आधार पर भविष्य की कार्ययोजना को स्पष्ट किया गया। बैठक की अध्यक्षता साथी  इमरान खान, अध्यक्ष, ने की, जिन्होंने बदली हुई परिस्थितियों में ट्रेड यूनियन की जिम्मेदारियों पर प्रकाश डाला। साथी  अनिमेष मित्रा, महासचिव ने बैठक को संबोधित किया और 3rd PRC, बढ़ी हुई आईडीए भुगतान, 10वें सदस्यता सत्यापन की तैयारियों और ज्वलंत मुद्दों पर आंदोलनकारी कार्यक्रमों से संबंधित विषयों पर विस्तार से चर्चा की। जिला सचिवों और सर्कल पदाधिकारियों ने पश्चिम बंगाल सर्कल में कर्मचारियों के मुद्दों के समाधान के प्रति बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन के उदासीन रवैये की भी आलोचना की। बैठक में सर्कल में भविष्य की संगठनात्मक और आंदोलनकारी गतिविधियों के लिए तीन प्रस्ताव पारित किए गए।

Recently, it has come to the notice of CHQ that administrations in some circles are facing difficulties in remittance of quota to CHQ. The bank authorities have already informed CHQ about the matter in detail. Hence, all Circle Secretaries are requested to contact CHQ immediately if any problem arises in bank operations related to remittance of CHQ quota. The issue has arisen due to the change of bank account. Earlier, the account was maintained with Corporation Bank. Now, the account has been shifted to Union Bank of India, West Patel Nagar Branch, New Delhi.

Extended Circle Working Committee meeting of BSNLEU, West Bengal circle, was successfully held at CTO, Kolkata on 21st–22nd May 2026 with the participation of district secretaries and circle office bearers. Com. Sujoy Sarkar, Circle Secretary, presented the report explaining the overall BSNL scenario and future course of action based on the recent Central Secretariat meeting. The meeting was presided over by Com. Imran Khan, President, who highlighted the responsibilities of the trade union in the changed situation. Com. Animesh Mitra, General Secretary, addressed the meeting and elaborated on issues related to 3rd PRC, enhanced IDA payment, preparations for the 10th Membership Verification and agitational programmes on burning issues. District secretaries and circle office bearers also criticised the indifferent attitude of the BSNL Management in West Bengal circle towards settlement of staff issues. The meeting adopted three resolutions for future organisational and agitational activities in the circle.

BSNLEU, पश्चिम बंगाल सर्कल ने रजत जयंती समारोह के हिस्से के तौर पर ट्रेड यूनियन क्लास का आयोजन किया।

रजत जयंती समारोह कार्यक्रम के सिलसिले में, BSNLEU, पश्चिम बंगाल सर्कल ने 21.05.2026 को सीटीओ बिल्डिंग में "देश के स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में श्रमिक वर्ग की भूमिका" विषय पर एक ट्रेड यूनियन क्लास का आयोजन किया। इस सत्र के मुख्य वक्ता CITU, पश्चिम बंगाल के उपाध्यक्ष साथी  सोमनाथ भट्टाचार्य थे। उन्होंने ब्रिटिश शासन के दौरान ट्रेड यूनियन आंदोलन और श्रमिक वर्ग द्वारा निभाई गई भूमिका के बारे में विस्तार से बताया। देश की मौजूदा स्थिति को देखते हुए, उन्होंने श्रमिक वर्ग के अधिकारों और वर्गीय हितों की रक्षा के लिए उनके बीच सांप्रदायिक सद्भाव और वैचारिक एकता को मजबूत करने की आवश्यकता पर भी जोर दिया। शुरुआत में, सर्कल सचिव साथी  सुजॉय सरकार ने इस तरह की ट्रेड यूनियन क्लास आयोजित करने के महत्व के बारे में बताया। यह सत्र सर्कल पदाधिकारियों और जिला सचिवों के लिए बेहद ज्ञानवर्धक साबित हुआ, जिन्होंने राज्य भर के विभिन्न जिलों और कस्बों से इसमें हिस्सा लिया था। AIBDPA के सर्कल सचिव साथी  आशीष दास और BSNLCMU के सर्कल सचिव साथी  तापस घोष ने भी सभा को संबोधित किया। इस कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता सर्कल यूनियन के अध्यक्ष साथी  इमरान खान ने की।

BSNLEU ने पोर्ट ब्लेयर में 8वां सर्कल सम्मेलन आयोजित किया।

BSNLEU, अंडमान और निकोबार सर्कल का 8वां सर्कल सम्मेलन 24 मई, 2026 को पोर्ट ब्लेयर के सन सी रिज़ॉर्ट में आयोजित किया गया। साथी  एम. विजयकुमार, अखिल भारतीय अध्यक्ष ने सम्मेलन का उद्घाटन किया और बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों के सामने आने वाली चुनौतियों पर सभा को संबोधित किया, जिसमें वेतन संशोधन का लंबित होना और निजीकरण की नीतियों से उत्पन्न मुद्दे शामिल थे। प्रतिनिधि सत्र के दौरान, रिपोर्ट और ऑडिट किए गए खाते प्रस्तुत किए गए और सर्वसम्मति से स्वीकार किए गए। कर्मचारियों की मांगों पर प्रस्ताव भी पारित किए गए। एक नई सर्कल समिति का चुनाव किया गया, जिसमें साथी  एम. राजेंद्रन को अध्यक्ष, साथी  एस.पी. कलैराजन को सर्कल सचिव और साथी  अब्दुल अज़ीज़ को कोषाध्यक्ष चुना गया। खुले सत्र में, श्री वी.एस. इलंतिराई, आइटीएस, सीजीएम, A&N टेलीकॉम सर्कल ने कर्मचारियों की मांगों पर विचार करने का आश्वासन दिया और दूरसंचार विकास तथा कर्मचारियों के कल्याण पर ज़ोर दिया। श्री बी. चंद्रचूड़न, महासचिव, CITU राज्य समिति, और कई बीएसएनएल अधिकारियों तथा ट्रेड यूनियन नेताओं ने भी सम्मेलन को संबोधित किया। सम्मेलन का समापन नव-निर्वाचित सर्कल सचिव साथी  एस.पी. कलैराजन द्वारा धन्यवाद प्रस्ताव के साथ हुआ। विभिन्न बाहरी केंद्रों से सदस्यों ने इस कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया।

The 8^th Circle Conference of the BSNLEU, Andaman & Nicobar Circle, was held at Sun Sea Resort, Port Blair, on 24^th May, 2026. Com. M. Vijayakumar, All India President, inaugurated the conference and addressed the gathering on the challenges faced by BSNL employees, including pending wage revision and issues arising from privatisation policies. During the delegate session, reports and audited accounts were presented and adopted unanimously. Resolutions on employees’ demands were also passed. A new Circle Committee was elected with Com. M. Rajendran as President, Com. S.P. Kalairajan as Circle Secretary and Com. Abdul Aziz as Treasurer. In the Open Session, Shri V.S. Ilanthirai, ITS, CGM, A&N Telecom Circle, assured consideration of employees’ demands and emphasised telecom development and staff welfare. Shri B. Chandrachoodan, General Secretary, CITU State Committee, and several BSNL officers and trade union leaders also addressed the conference. The conference concluded with a vote of thanks by newly elected Circle Secretary Com. S.P. Kalairajan. Members from various outstations participated in the event.

The Corporate Office has issued order yesterday the 22^nd May, 2026 for the payment of IDA increase from 236.7% to 238.3% w.e.f. 01.04.2026. A copy of the Corporate Office order is enclosed.
