Extended Circle Working Committee meeting of BSNLEU West Bengal Circle successfully held at CTO, Kolkata.

Extended Circle Working Committee meeting of BSNLEU, West Bengal circle, was successfully held at CTO, Kolkata on 21st–22nd May 2026 with the participation of district secretaries and circle office bearers. Com. Sujoy Sarkar, Circle Secretary, presented the report explaining the overall BSNL scenario and future course of action based on the recent Central Secretariat meeting. The meeting was presided over by Com. Imran Khan, President, who highlighted the responsibilities of the trade union in the changed situation. Com. Animesh Mitra, General Secretary, addressed the meeting and elaborated on issues related to 3rd PRC, enhanced IDA payment, preparations for the 10th Membership Verification and agitational programmes on burning issues. District secretaries and circle office bearers also criticised the indifferent attitude of the BSNL Management in West Bengal circle towards settlement of staff issues. The meeting adopted three resolutions for future organisational and agitational activities in the circle.
