BSNLEU has been consistently demanding the implementation of a New Promotion Policy for Non-Executive employees. The issue was also discussed in the National Council meeting held in the month of January, 2025. Accordingly, BSNL Management constituted a committee to review the Non-Executive Promotion Policy (NEPP) vide letter No. BSNLCO-A/14(12)/4/2022-ESTAB dated 09.07.2025. Nearly one year has passed since the committee was formed. BSNLEU submitted a letter to the Director (HR) on 01.06.2026 and subsequently discussed the matter with the PGM (SR). On 05.06.2026, Com. Animesh Mitra, GS and Com. Ashwin Kumar, AGS, met Shri Rajeev Kaushik, PGM (SR). During the discussion, the PGM (SR) informed that the committee has already held meetings to review the NEPP and that the union would be consulted shortly to obtain its views. डायरेक्टर (मानव संसाधन) के आश्वासन के बावजूद, Rule-9 कर्मचारीयों के प्रति प्रशासन का उदासीन रवैया।

BSNLEU ने प्रशासन द्वारा उन Rule-9 कर्मचारीयों के मामलों पर विचार करने में हो रही लगातार देरी पर चिंता व्यक्त की है, जिन्होंने अपने होम स्टेशन पर दो साल पूरे कर लिए हैं। 02.06.2026 को जनरल सेक्रेटरी ने उत्तर प्रदेश (पूर्व) सर्किल के प्रभावित कर्मचारीयों की एक सूची सौंपी, जिसमें उनके कार्यकाल के विस्तार की मांग की गई थी। हालाँकि चर्चाओं के दौरान डायरेक्टर (मानव संसाधन) ने मामले पर सकारात्मक विचार करने का आश्वासन दिया था, लेकिन कथित तौर पर सर्किल प्रशासन को इस संबंध में कोई निर्देश जारी नहीं किए गए हैं। BSNLEU ने प्रबंधन से आग्रह किया है कि वे तत्काल हस्तक्षेप करें और प्रभावित अधिकारियों को राहत प्रदान करें। पत्र की एक प्रति इसके साथ संलग्न है।

बीबीएनएल का बीएसएनएल में विलय (मर्जर) हो गया है।

भारत सरकार के फैसले के अनुसार, बीबीएनएल (भारत ब्रॉडबैंड नेटवर्क लिमिटेड) का बीएसएनएल में विलय (मर्जर) कर दिया गया है। बीबीएनएल ने इस संबंध में 03-06-2026 को आदेश जारी किया है। आदेश में कहा गया है कि केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने बीबीएनएल का बीएसएनएल में विलय करने का फैसला लिया है और भारत सरकार के कॉर्पोरेट मामलों के मंत्रालय ने 18-05-2026 को इस विलय को अपनी मंज़ूरी दे दी है। आदेश में यह भी कहा गया है कि बीबीएनएल का बीएसएनएल में विलय होने के परिणामस्वरूप बीबीएनएल की सभी संपत्तियाँ और देनदारियाँ बीएसएनएल को हस्तांतरित हो गई हैं। बीबीएनएल का बीएसएनएल में विलय होने को लेकर लंबे समय से अफवाहें चल रही थीं। अब, यह विलय वास्तव में हो गया है। इस विलय का बीएसएनएल के पुनरुद्धार पर क्या असर पड़ेगा और साथ ही बीएसएनएल के कर्मचारियों पर इसका क्या प्रभाव होगा इसका अध्ययन किया जाना ज़रूरी है। BSNLEU इस मामले पर उचित रूप से गौर करेगा और बीएसएनएल तथा उसके कर्मचारियों के हितों की रक्षा के लिए ज़रूरी कदम उठाएगा। हमारे साथियों की जानकारी के लिए आदेश की एक प्रति नीचे दी गई है।

मध्य प्रदेश सर्कल ने सीडब्ल्यूसी मीटिंग और सिल्वर जुबली सेलिब्रेशन आयोजित किया।

BSNLEU मध्य प्रदेश सर्कल ने 03.06.2026 को पिपरिया में सर्कल वर्किंग कमेटी (CWC) की मीटिंग और सिल्वर जुबली सेलिब्रेशन का सफल आयोजन किया। इसमें डिस्ट्रिक्ट सेक्रेटरी, सर्कल के पदाधिकारी और बड़ी संख्या में सदस्यों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि देने के साथ हुई, जिसके बाद सिल्वर जुबली का शानदार जश्न मनाया गया जिसमें भारी भीड़ शामिल हुई। जनरल सेक्रेटरी कॉमरेड अनिमेष मित्रा और सर्कल प्रेसिडेंट कॉमरेड प्रकाश शर्मा ने 2001 में विशाखापत्तनम में BSNLEU के ऐतिहासिक गठन और इसके शानदार 25 साल के सफर पर प्रकाश डाला। सर्कल सेक्रेटरी कॉमरेड बी.एस. रघुवंशी ने एक्टिविटी रिपोर्ट पेश की, जबकि कॉमरेड प्रकाश शर्मा ने मीटिंग की अध्यक्षता की। कॉमरेड मनोज शर्मा (ऑर्गनाइजिंग सेक्रेटरी, CHQ), कॉमरेड अनिमेष मित्रा, श्री राजकुमार छनेना (PGM, इटारसी) और कॉमरेड एच.एस. ठाकुर (CS, AIBDPA) ने संगठन से जुड़े मुद्दों, वेतन संशोधन (Wage Revision), नई प्रमोशन पॉलिसी, मेंबरशिप वेरिफिकेशन, संयुक्त संघर्षों और BSNLEU की उपलब्धियों पर सभा को संबोधित किया। मीटिंग में वेतन संशोधन, पेंशन संशोधन, यूनियन वेरिफिकेशन, LICE, भत्तों और सुविधाओं में संशोधन, और एकजुट संघर्षों की आवश्यकता पर सीएचक्यू  के रुख का समर्थन करने वाले प्रस्ताव पारित किए गए। साथ ही, बीए स्तर पर सिल्वर जुबली सेलिब्रेशन आयोजित करने का सर्वसम्मति से निर्णय लिया गया। सर्कल ट्रेजरर कॉमरेड नानकराम रघुवंशी को उनके रिटायरमेंट पर सम्मानित किया गया। सीएचक्यू  सीडब्ल्यूसी मीटिंग और सिल्वर जुबली सेलिब्रेशन के सफल आयोजन के लिए मध्य प्रदेश सर्कल को बधाई देता है।

विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस – प्रकृति बचाएं, मानवता बचाएं।

आज 5 जून है, जिसे विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस हमें याद दिलाता है कि बेहतर भविष्य के लिए प्रकृति की रक्षा करना ज़रूरी है। जलवायु परिवर्तन, बढ़ता तापमान, बाढ़, सूखा और पर्यावरण का नुकसान दुनिया भर के लोगों के लिए गंभीर चुनौतियां पैदा कर रहे हैं। अमेरिका के नेतृत्व में विकसित और साम्राज्यवादी देशों ने ज़्यादा खपत और कार्बन उत्सर्जन के ज़रिए ग्लोबल वार्मिंग में सबसे ज़्यादा योगदान दिया है। भारत में कॉरपोरेट हितों को प्राथमिकता देने वाली नीतियों के कारण व्यावसायिक इस्तेमाल के लिए बड़े पैमाने पर जंगलों और प्राकृतिक संसाधनों का इस्तेमाल किया गया है, जिससे आदिवासी समुदायों, किसानों, मज़दूरों और आम लोगों पर बुरा असर पड़ा है। ट्रेड यूनियन के तौर पर हमारा मानना ​​है कि विकास टिकाऊ और जन-केंद्रित होना चाहिए। जंगलों, जल संसाधनों, जैव-विविधता और स्थानीय समुदायों के अधिकारों की रक्षा की जानी चाहिए। इस विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस पर, आइए, हम पर्यावरण की रक्षा करने और आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए एक सुरक्षित और टिकाऊ भविष्य बनाने के अपने संकल्प को दोहराएं। प्रकृति बचाएं – मानवता बचाएं।

Today is the 5^th June, the day which is popular to observe as World Environment Day. World Environment Day reminds us that protecting nature is essential for a better future. Climate change, rising temperatures, floods, droughts, and environmental degradation are posing serious challenges to people across the world. The developed and imperialist countries, led by the USA, have historically contributed the most to global warming through excessive consumption and carbon emissions. In India, policies favouring corporate interests have resulted in the large-scale diversion of forests and natural resources for commercial exploitation, adversely affecting tribal communities, farmers, workers, and the common people. As trade unions, we believe that development should be sustainable and people-oriented. Forests, water resources, biodiversity, and the rights of local communities must be protected. On this World Environment Day, let us renew our commitment to protecting the environment and building a safe and sustainable future for the coming generations. Save Nature – Save Humanity.

BSNLEU Madhya Pradesh Circle successfully organised its Circle Working Committee meeting along with the Silver Jubilee Celebration at Pipariya on 03.06.2026, with enthusiastic participation of district secretaries, circle office bearers and a large number of members. The programme commenced with homage to the martyrs, followed by a colourful Silver Jubilee celebration attended by a houseful gathering. Com. Animesh Mitra, General Secretary and Com. Prakash Sharma, Circle President, highlighted the historic formation of BSNLEU at Visakhapatnam in 2001 and its glorious 25-year journey. Com. B.S. Raghuwanshi, Circle Secretary, presented the activity report, while Com. Prakash Sharma presided over the meeting. Com. Manoj Sharma, Organising Secretary (CHQ), Com. Animesh Mitra, Shri Rajkumar Chhanena, PGM, Itarsi, and Com. H.S. Thakur, CS, AIBDPA, addressed the gathering on organisational issues, Wage Revision, New Promotion Policy, Membership Verification, joint struggles and the achievements of BSNLEU. The meeting adopted resolutions supporting CHQ’s stand on Wage Revision, Pension Revision, Union Verification, LICE, revision of perks and allowances, and the need for united struggles. It also unanimously decided to organise Silver Jubilee celebrations at BA level. Com. Nanakram Raghuwanshi, Circle Treasurer, was felicitated on his retirement. CHQ congratulates the Madhya Pradesh Circle for successfully organising the CWC meeting and Silver Jubilee Celebration.

As per the decision of the government of India, BBNL( Bharat Broadband Network Ltd.) has been amalgamated (merged) with BSNL. The BBNL has issued the order on 03-06-2026 in this connection. The order states that, the Union Cabinet has taken the decision for the amalgamation of BBNL with BSNL and that the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, has given it's approval for this amalgamation on 18-05-2026. The order also states that consequent to the amalgamation of BBNL with BSNL, all the assets and liabilities of BBNL stands transferred to BSNL. Rumours have been going on for long about the merger of BBNL with BSNL. Now, the actual merger has taken place. What impact this merger is going to have on the revival of BSNL and also the impact this merger is going to have on the workforce of BSNL, needs to be studied. BSNLEU will duly look into this matter and take needful action to safeguard the interests of BSNL and the interests of it's employees. BSNLEU has expressed concern over the administration's continued delay in considering the cases of Rule-9 officials who have completed two years at their home stations. On 02.06.2026, the General Secretary submitted a list of affected officials from the UP (East) Circle seeking extension of their tenure. Although Director (HR) assured favourable consideration during discussions, no instructions have reportedly been issued to the circle administration. BSNLEU has urged the management to intervene immediately and provide relief to the affected officials. Copy of the letter is attached herewith.
