Bharat Bandh is being observed throughout the country today. The Samyukta Kisan Morcha has given call for this Bharat Bandh, demanding repealing of the pro-corporate Farm Acts, as well as the Electricity (Amendment) Bill-2021. The Joint Platform of the Central Trade Unions and Sectoral Federations / Associations, of which BSNLEU is a part, has extended it’s support and solidarity to the Bharat Bandh.

The meeting of the AUAB was held at New Delhi on 23.09.2021 and 25.09.2021. General Secretaries / representatives of BSNLEU, NFTE, AIGETOA, SNEA, AIBSNLEA, SEWA BSNL, FNTO, BSNL MS, BSNL ATM, TEPU and BSNL OA, attended the meeting. The meeting reviewed the 3 day dharna organised at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, and also discussed about the future course of action. Decision has been taken to organise a Twitter campaign on 06.10.2021 and a black flag / black badge wearing demonstrations on 26.10.2021. The AUAB has issued the following circular carrying the decisions. Circle and district unions are requested to implement the decisions taken in the AUAB meeting.

The BSNL Management issued a letter on 17.09.2021, giving directions to the CGMs for taking steps to break the 3 day dharna programme organised by the AUAB, at Jantar Mantar on 21st, 22nd & 23rd September, 2021. The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India has issued order from time to time, stating that the citizens of the country have the right to participate in peaceful protests. As such, the BSNL Management has got no business to take steps to break the peaceful protest actions like dharna, hunger strike, etc. The AUAB leaders met the CMD BSNL yesterday and expressed their strong protest against the letter issued by the Corporate Office and demanded that the letter should be withdrawn. However, both the CMD BSNL and the Director (HR) told that letters once issued cannot be withdrawn.  They told that they would be careful in issuing letters in future. But the AUAB leaders did not accept this and insisted on the withdrawal of the letter.

27 सितंबर, 2021 को भारत बंद - समर्थन प्रदर्शन-solidarity demonstrations का आयोजन करें ।

पिछले नौ महिनो से किसान संघर्ष का नेतृत्व कर रहे संयुक्त किसान मोर्चा ने 27 सितंबर, 2021 को भारत बंद का आह्वान किया है। संयुक्त किसान मोर्चा तीन कृषि क़ानूनों को निरस्त करने, 2021 के बिजली (संशोधन) विधेयक को निरस्त करने की मांग कर रहा है और कानूनी रूप से गारंटीकृत न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य (एमएसपी) की भी मांग कर रहा है। केंद्रीय श्रमिक संघों-Central Trade Unions और क्षेत्रीय महासंघों/संघों-Sectoral Federations/Associations के संयुक्त मंच ने भारत बंद के समर्थन में 27-09-2021 को समर्थन कार्रवाई आयोजित करने के लिए श्रमिक वर्ग से आह्वान किया है । बीएसएनएलयू-BSNLEU के अखिल भारतीय केंद्र-All India Centre ने हमारे सर्कल और जिला यूनियनों से आह्वान किया है कि वे संयुक्त किसान मोर्चा के समर्थन में प्रदर्शन आयोजित करें और भारत बंध के समर्थन में एकजुटता का प्रदर्शन करें । सीएचक्यू-CHQ ने सर्कल-Circle और जिला-District यूनियनों से दिनांक 27-09-2021 को समर्थन प्रदर्शन आयोजित करने का आह्वान किया है ।

The Samyukta Kisan Morcha, which is spearheading the farmers' struggle for the past nine months, has called for a Bharat Bandh on 27^th September, 2021. The Samyukta Kisan Morcha, is demanding repealing of the three Farm Acts, repealing of the Electricity (Amendment) Bill of 2021 and is also demanding Legally Guaranteed Minimum Support Price (MSP). The joint platform of the Central Trade Unions and Sectoral Federations / Associations has called on the working class to organise solidarity actions on 27-09-2021, in support of the Bharat Bandh. The All India Centre of BSNLEU has decided to call on our circle and district unions to organise demonstrations, in solidarity with the Samyukta Kisan Morcha and in support of the Bharat Bandh. Hence, the CHQ calls on the circle and district unions to organise solidarity demonstrations on 27-09-2021.

तर-मंतर पर 3 दिन का धरना  : एक भव्य सफलता* *एयूएबी-AUAB अभी प्रतिभागियों को धन्यवाद देता है और सर्कल यूनियनों की सराहना करता है ।

दिनांक 21 सितंबर, 2021 से नई दिल्ली के जंतर-मंतर पर 3 दिवसीय धरना के सफल समापन के बाद 23 सितंबर, 2021 को नई दिल्ली में एयूएबी की मीटिंग हुई। मीटिंग में 3 दिवसीय धरने की समीक्षा करते हुए उपरोक्त प्रस्ताव पारित किया गया।

" एयूएबी-AUAB की यह मीटिंग इस बात पर संतुष्ट है कि दिनांक 21 सितंबर, 2021 से नई दिल्ली के जंतर-मंतर पर एयूएबी द्वारा आयोजित 3 दिवसीय धरना कार्यक्रम बेहद सफल रहा है। तीन दिवसीय धरना कार्यक्रम में दिल्ली के साथ-साथ उत्तर प्रदेश (पश्चिम), हरियाणा, पंजाब, राजस्थान, उत्तराखंड और उत्तर प्रदेश (पूर्व) से बड़ी संख्या में कर्मचारियों और पेंशनभोगियों ने उत्साह पूर्वक भाग लिया है । इस मीटिंग में इस बात पर भी संतोष व्यक्त किया गया है कि इस 3 दिवसीय धरने कार्यक्रम ने पूरे देश में बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों और पेंशनभोगियों के बीच काफी उत्साह और प्रेरणा दी है । यह मीटिंग में दिल्ली से कार्यक्रम में भाग लेने वाले सभी कर्मचारियों और पेंशनभोगियों के साथ-साथ उत्तर प्रदेश (पश्चिम), हरियाणा, पंजाब, राजस्थान, उत्तराखंड और उत्तर प्रदेश(पूर्व) के सर्किल यूनियनों को विशेष धन्यवाद देती है और यह उपरोक्त सर्किलों से संबंधित एयूएबी-AUAB के सभी साथियों की सराहना करती है । इसके अलावा, यह मीटिंग दिनांक 17-09-2021 को एक बहुत ही निम्न स्तर का पत्र जारी कर के कर्मचारियों में भय का माहौल पैदा करने और उन्हें इस धरने में भाग लेने से रोकने के लिए बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन की कड़ी निंदा करती है । इस तरह के पत्र जारी कर प्रबंधन केवल विरोध करने के लिए कर्मचारियों के लोकतांत्रिक अधिकार छीनने की कोशिश कर रहा है, हम इसकी अनुमति नहीं दे सकते है । इस मीटिंग ने आश्वस्त किया गया है कि आने वाले दिनों में और संघर्ष और आंदोलनों का आयोजन किया जाएगा । जिसमें एयूएबी-AUAB के मांग पत्र में चिन्हित मुद्दों का निपटारा करनेकी मांग की गई है ।"

After the successful completion of the 3 day dharna at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, from 21^st September, 2021, onwards, a meeting of the AUAB was held at New Delhi on 23^rd September, 2021. The meeting reviewed the 3 day dharna and passed the following resolution.

" This meeting of the AUAB notes with satisfaction that, the 3 day dharna programme, organised by the AUAB at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, from 21^st September, 2021, onwards, has become highly successful. Large number of employees and pensioners from Delhi, as well as from UP (West), Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and UP(East), have enthusiastically participated in this 3 day dharna programme. This meeting also notes with satisfaction that, this 3 day dharna programme has created a great amount of zeal and motivation among the BSNL employees and pensioners throughout the country. This meeting conveys it’s special thanks to all the employees and pensioners who have participated in the programme from Delhi, as well as from UP (West), Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and UP(East) and also puts on record, it’s appreciation to all the circle unions of the constituents of the AUAB, belonging to the aforementioned circles. Further, this meeting severely condemns the BSNL Management for issuing a very retrograde letter on 17.09.2021, to create a fear psychosis among the employees and to stop them from participating in this dharna. By issuing such letters, Management is only trying to snatch the democratic rights of the employees to protest, which we cannot be allowed. This meeting assures that, further struggles and movements will be organised in the days to come, demanding settlement of the issues contained in the charter of demands of the AUAB."
