भुवनेश्वर में ओडिशा सर्कल की उत्साहपूर्ण विस्तारित सीईसी मीटिंग हुई।

ओडिशा सर्कल की एक उत्साहपूर्ण विस्तारित सीईसी मीटिंग 25 जनवरी 2026 को भुवनेश्वर के टेलीफोन एक्सचेंज कॉन्फ्रेंस हॉल में हुई। मीटिंग में सर्कल ऑफिस बेयरर्स और BSNLEU के जिला सचिवों ने AIBDPA के नेताओं के साथ भाग लिया। शुरुआत में साथी  कामेश्वर राव, सर्कल सेक्रेटरी ने मीटिंग बुलाने के पीछे की वजह और 12 फरवरी 2026 को देशव्यापी हड़ताल में बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों के शामिल होने की ज़रूरत के बारे में बताया। साथी  ए. धूपल (AIBDPA), साथी  सरोज रंजन दास (पूर्व-सर्कल सेक्रेटरी), साथी  शरत मोहंती, अध्यक्ष, और साथी  एस. के. भट्टाचार्य सहित वरिष्ठ नेता मौजूद थे। साथी  संतोष कुमार रे, आयोजन सचिव (सीएचक्यू) ने भी कर्मचारियों से जुड़े मुद्दों पर मीटिंग को संबोधित किया। जिला सचिवों और सीडब्ल्यूसी सदस्यों ने अपने विचार साझा किए और कर्मचारियों को होने वाली कठिनाइयों पर प्रकाश डाला। चर्चाओं का जवाब देते हुए, साथी  अनिमेष मित्रा, महासचिव BSNLEU, ने देश और बीएसएनएल में मौजूदा स्थिति के बारे में बताया। उन्होंने वेतन समझौते के महत्व और BSNLEU द्वारा निभाई गई भूमिका पर प्रकाश डाला, प्रतिनिधियों द्वारा उठाए गए विभिन्न कर्मचारियों के मुद्दों को स्पष्ट किया, और भविष्य की ट्रेड यूनियन गतिविधियों पर लेबर कोड और श्रम शक्ति नीति-2025 के प्रभावों के बारे में विस्तार से बताया। उन्होंने सभी बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों से 12 फरवरी 2026 की देशव्यापी हड़ताल में पूरे दिल से भाग लेने की अपील की। ​​मीटिंग में काफी संख्या में महिला साथियों ने भाग लिया, और BSNLWWCC, ओडिशा सर्कल का एक नया ऑफिस बेयरर्स निकाय बनाया गया। अंत में, ओडिशा सर्कल यूनियन ने आगामी सदस्यता सत्यापन में भारी जीत हासिल करने का संकल्प लिया।

On 29.01.2026, a meeting was held between the BSNL administration and the General Secretaries / Representatives of the recognised unions and associations regarding the renewal of the Group Term Insurance (GTI). Following the meeting, the administration has already issued the minutes, wherein the proposals submitted by the unions and associations have been duly incorporated. As informed by the administration, these proposals will be placed before the LIC authorities in a meeting scheduled to be held on 02nd February 2026, with a view to finalising the renewal of the GTI policy. In this context, Circle Secretaries are requested to forward any additional proposals or suggestions for improving the terms and conditions of the GTI policy at the earliest, so that the same can be appropriately taken up. It may be recalled that BSNLEU has already raised the demand for enhancing the insurance coverage to ₹50 lakhs for Non-Executives, at par with the Executives. The minutes of the meeting are enclosed herewith for information and necessary action.

The All India Convention of the BSNL Working Women Coordination Committee (BSNLWWCC) is proposed to be held on 28^th March, 2026 at Mumbai. Mumbai district union under the leadership of the Maharashtra Circle has agreed to take the responsibility for holding this convention. CHQ has appreciated the Maharashtra Circle and Mumbai District unions for consenting to host the event. Following discussions held during a BA-level convention in Mumbai on 22.01.2026, the date and venue have been tentatively finalised as 28th March 2026. The proposal will be placed before the forthcoming CEC meeting and BSNLWWCC meeting for final approval. The Committee members of BSNLWWCC are requested to convene an online meeting to issue the formal notification.

In response to the call given by CHQ to organise a massive campaign for the All India General Strike on 12th February 2026, the Coordination Committee of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF, Kolkata Telephones, organised a large and successful convention at CTO Hall, Kolkata, on 29.01.2026. The convention witnessed an impressive participation of regular employees, pensioners and contract workers, reflecting the growing unity among all sections of BSNL employees. A presidium comprising, Com. Jayanta Ghosh, Com. Manisha Biswas and Com. Aghor Sikdar efficiently conducted the proceedings of the meeting. At the outset, Com. Sisir Roy, Convenor, BSNL Coordination Committee, explained the necessity and importance of organising such conventions in Kolkata. Com. Abhas Roy Choudhury, Vice President, CITU, inaugurated the convention and elaborated on the present political and economic scenario of the country, highlighting the sustained attacks on BSNL. Com. Sanjib Banerjee, CS, AIBDPA, Com. Debabrata Basu, CS, CORTO and Com. Sankar Nepal, Circle Secretary, BSNLEU, addressed the gathering and spoke in details on the present condition of BSNL, the role of the management, the importance of BSNL services, Wage Revision and Pension Revision, retrenchment of contract labourers and other related issues. The speakers also highlighted the importance of the joint struggle for the 3rd PRC. The convention unanimously resolved to organise similar conventions at every OA and BA level to further strengthen the strike campaign. The programme clearly reflected the growing unity, determination and militancy of BSNLEU, AIBDPA, CORTO, CTTMU and EPFPA to intensify the struggle and ensure the grand success of the All India General Strike on 12^th February, 2026.

तमिलनाडु में बीए लेवल के कन्वेंशन पूरे ज़ोर-शोर से आयोजित किए जा रहे हैं। 

केंद्र सरकार की मज़दूर-विरोधी और कॉर्पोरेट-समर्थक नीतियों के खिलाफ कर्मचारियों और कॉन्ट्रैक्ट वर्कर्स को एकजुट करने और 12 फरवरी 2026 को होने वाली अखिल भारतीय आम हड़ताल में बड़ी संख्या में भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करने के अभियान के तहत पूरे तमिलनाडु में बीए/ओए लेवल के कन्वेंशन पूरे ज़ोर-शोर से आयोजित किए जा रहे हैं। विरुधुनगर, मदुरै, तूतीकोरिन और तिरुनेलवेली में कन्वेंशन आयोजित किए गए। BSNLEU, AIBDPA और TNTCWU के नेताओं ने सभाओं को संबोधित किया, मोदी सरकार की मज़दूर-विरोधी और पीएसयू-विरोधी नीतियों की आलोचना की, वेतन समझौते के बारे में बताया, BSNLEU सीएचक्यू  की भूमिका पर प्रकाश डाला, बीएसएनएल की 4G और 5G सेवाओं की स्थिति के बारे में बताया, और कॉन्ट्रैक्ट वर्कर्स को होने वाली कठिनाइयों पर प्रकाश डाला। वक्ताओं ने सांप्रदायिक सद्भाव के महत्व और एकजुट कार्रवाई की तत्काल आवश्यकता पर भी ज़ोर दिया। वक्ताओं ने सर्वसम्मति से सभी कर्मचारियों और कॉन्ट्रैक्ट वर्कर्स से 12 फरवरी 2026 की आम हड़ताल में बड़ी संख्या में भाग लेने की अपील की। ​​साथी  ए. बाबूराधाकृष्णन, सर्कल अध्यक्ष, तमिलनाडु सर्कल और सर्कल यूनियन के अन्य पदाधिकारियों ने इन सभी बीए लेवल के कन्वेंशन में भाग लिया और देश और बीएसएनएल की वर्तमान स्थिति के बारे में बताया। साथी  एस. चेल्लप्पा, सहायक महासचिव ने वेल्लोर, कुड्डालोर, सेलम और चेन्नई जैसे अलग-अलग बीए में अन्य बैठकों का भी दौरा किया। उन्होंने श्रमिकों से 12 फरवरी, 2026 को हड़ताल में शामिल होने का अनुरोध किया। ये कन्वेंशन BSNLEU, AIBDPA और TNTCWU की संघर्ष को तेज़ करने और 12 फरवरी 2026 को अखिल भारतीय आम हड़ताल की सफलता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए बढ़ती एकता और दृढ़ संकल्प को दर्शाते हैं।

ग्रुप टर्म इंश्योरेंस (GTI) जारी रखने पर मैनेजमेंट के साथ चर्चा – BSNLEU ने नॉन-एग्जीक्यूटिव्स के लिए 50 लाख रुपये के इंश्योरेंस कवरेज की मांग की।

आज कॉर्पोरेट ऑफिस में बीएसएनएल के एग्जीक्यूटिव्स और नॉन-एग्जीक्यूटिव्स दोनों के लिए ग्रुप टर्म इंश्योरेंस (GTI) पॉलिसी के रिन्यूअल पर चर्चा करने के लिए एक मीटिंग हुई। मीटिंग के दौरान, GTI पॉलिसी के रिन्यूअल के लिए ट्रांसफर शर्तों के संबंध में LIC द्वारा प्रस्तुत प्रस्ताव मान्यता प्राप्त यूनियनों और एसोसिएशनों के महासचिवों/प्रतिनिधियों को सौंपा गया। प्रस्ताव को विस्तार से समझाते हुए, श्री राजीव कुमार शर्मा, डीजीएम (एडमिन/पीआर) ने बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों के लिए GTI योजना के वार्षिक रिन्यूअल के लिए LIC द्वारा रखी गई शर्तों और नियमों के बारे में विस्तार से बताया। चर्चा में बताया गया कि वर्तमान में GTI पॉलिसी धारकों की संख्या 14,521 एग्जीक्यूटिव्स और 6,369 नॉन-एग्जीक्यूटिव्स है। मैनेजमेंट ने आश्वासन दिया कि GTI योजना जारी रहेगी, और मौजूदा शर्तों और नियमों के अनुसार पॉलिसी को रिन्यू करने के लिए LIC के साथ बातचीत की जाएगी। BSNLEU की ओर से, साथी  अनिमेष मित्रा, महासचिव ने उन नॉन-एग्जीक्यूटिव्स के लिए इंश्येंस कवरेज को बढ़ाकर ₹50 लाख करने की मांग पुरजोर तरीके से उठाई, जो मौजूदा LIC की शर्तों और नियमों के तहत जारी रखना चाहते हैं। इस मांग पर जवाब देते हुए, मैनेजमेंट ने LIC अधिकारियों के साथ इस मुद्दे को उठाने पर सहमति व्यक्त की और आश्वासन दिया कि BSNLEU की मांग को सोमवार को होने वाली LIC के साथ चर्चा के अगले दौर में औपचारिक रूप से रखा जाएगा।

A meeting was held today at the Corporate Office to discuss the renewal of the Group Term Insurance (GTI) policy for both Executives and Non-Executives of BSNL. During the meeting, the proposal submitted by LIC regarding the transfer conditions for renewal of the GTI policy was handed over to the General Secretaries / Representatives of the recognised unions and associations. Explaining the proposal in detail, Shri Rajiv Kumar Sharma, DGM (Admn./PR) elaborated on the terms and conditions put forward by LIC for the annual renewal of the GTI scheme for BSNL employees. In the discussion, it was informed that the present number of GTI policyholders is 14,521 Executives and 6,369 Non-Executives. The Management assured that the GTI scheme will be continued, and that negotiations will be held with LIC to renew the policy at par with the existing terms and conditions. On behalf of BSNLEU, Com. Animesh Mitra, General Secretary, strongly raised the demand to enhance the insurance coverage for Non-Executives up to ₹50 lakhs, for those who are willing to continue under the existing LIC terms and conditions. Responding to the demand, the Management agreed to take up the issue with LIC authorities and assured that the demand of BSNLEU would be formally represented in the next round of discussions with LIC, scheduled to be held on Monday.

An enthusiastic Extended CEC Meeting of the Odisha Circle was held at the Telephone Exchange Conference Hall, Bhubaneswar, on 25^th January 2026. Circle office bearers and district secretaries of BSNLEU participated in the meeting, along with leaders of AIBDPA. At the outset, Com. Kameswar Rao, CS, explained the background for convening the meeting and the necessity of BSNL workers joining the countrywide strike on 12th February 2026. Senior leaders including Com. A. Dhupal (AIBDPA), Com. Saroj Ranjan Das (Ex-CS), Com. Sarat Mohanti, President, and Com. S. K. Bhattacharya were present. Com. Santosh Kumar Ray, Organising Secretary (CHQ), also addressed the meeting on staff-related issues. District secretaries and CWC members shared their views and highlighted the hardships faced by employees. Responding to the discussions, Com. Animesh Mitra, GS, BSNLEU, explained the present situation prevailing in the country and also in BSNL. He highlighted the significance of the Wage Agreement and the role played by BSNLEU, clarified various staff issues raised by the delegates, and elaborated on the implications of the Labour Codes and Shram Shakti Niti-2025 on future trade union activities. He appealed to all BSNL workers to participate wholeheartedly in the 12th February 2026 countrywide strike. A good number of women comrades participated in the meeting, and a new office bearers’ body of BSNLWWCC, Odisha Circle, was formed. At the conclusion, the Odisha Circle Union resolved to achieve a massive victory in the forthcoming Membership Verification.

BA/OA level conventions are being organised in full swing across Tamil Nadu as part of the campaign to mobilise employees and contract workers against the anti-working-class and pro-corporate policies of the Central Government and to ensure massive participation in the All India General Strike on 12th February 2026. Conventions were held at Virudhunagar, Madurai, Tuticorin and Tirunelveli. Leaders of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and TNTCWU addressed the meetings, criticised the anti-worker and anti-PSU policies of the Modi Government, explained the Wage Agreement, highlighted the role of BSNLEU CHQ, briefed the status of BSNL’s 4G and 5G services, and highlighted the hardships faced by contract workers. Speakers also stressed the importance of communal harmony and the urgent need for united action. The speakers unanimously appealed to all employees and contract workers to ensure massive participation in the 12th February 2026 General Strike. Com. A. Baburadhakrishnan, Circle President, Tamil Nadu circle and other office bearers of the circle union had attended in all these BA level conventions and narrated the present situation in the country and in BSNL. Com.S. Chellappa, AGS, has also visited the other meetings in different BA like Vellore, Cuddalore, Salem and Chennai. They had requested the workers to join the strike on 12^th February, 2026. These conventions reflected the growing unity and determination of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and TNTCWU to intensify the struggle and ensure the success of the All India General Strike on 12th February 2026.
