देहरादून टेलीफोन एक्सचेंज में बीए लेवल कन्वेंशन आयोजित हुआ।

उत्तराखंड सर्कल यूनियन ने सीएचक्यू  के बीए-लेवल कन्वेंशन के आह्वान पर 18.01.2026 को देहरादून टेलीफोन एक्सचेंज में एक सफल बीए लेवल कन्वेंशन आयोजित किया। कन्वेंशन की अध्यक्षता साथी  जे. पी. कोठारी, वरिष्ठ नेता, AIBDPA ने की। साथी  के. एस. सौन, अध्यक्ष, BSNLEU ने प्रतिभागियों का स्वागत किया और कन्वेंशन की प्रासंगिकता बताई। साथी  देवेंद्र बिष्ट, सर्कल सचिव, ने वेतन समझौते के संबंध में सीएचक्यू  की उपलब्धियों पर प्रकाश डाला और लेबर कोड पर चिंता जताई। साथी  किशोरीलाल चमोली, जिला सचिव ने कर्मचारियों के मुद्दों पर बात की और श्रमिकों से संगठन को मजबूत करने का आग्रह किया। साथी  अनिमेष मित्रा, महासचिव ने सर्दियों के मौसम और छुट्टी के बावजूद कन्वेंशन में शामिल होने के लिए श्रमिकों का अभिवादन किया, और कहा कि उनकी भागीदारी संगठन में उनके मजबूत विश्वास को दर्शाती है। उन्होंने मैनेजमेंट कमेटी और पारिश्रमिक कमेटी दोनों से वेतन समझौते की मंजूरी प्राप्त करने में सीएचक्यू  की भूमिका के बारे में विस्तार से बताया साथ ही चेतावनी दी कि बोर्ड की मंजूरी हासिल करने के लिए अभी भी कड़ी निगरानी की आवश्यकता है। उन्होंने सामर्थ्य खंड में छूट हासिल करने के संघर्ष के लिए भविष्य के रोडमैप की भी रूपरेखा बताई, जो बीएसएनएल में तीसरे पीआरसी के कार्यान्वयन में एक बड़ी बाधा बन गया है। इसके अलावा, उन्होंने श्रमिकों से केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों के संघर्षों में सक्रिय रूप से भाग लेने का आह्वान किया, जिसमें 12 फरवरी 2026 को राष्ट्रव्यापी हड़ताल भी शामिल है। उन्होंने पेंशन संशोधन विधेयक, 2025 पेश होने के बाद केंद्र सरकार द्वारा पेंशनभोगियों पर किए गए हमलों के बारे में भी बताया। कन्वेंशन का समापन संगठन को मजबूत करने और उत्तराखंड सर्कल में आगामी सदस्यता सत्यापन  में जीत सुनिश्चित करने के संकल्प के साथ हुआ।

अंडमान और निकोबार सर्कल में बीए लेवल कन्वेंशन आयोजित हुआ।
अंडमान और निकोबार सर्कल यूनियन ने 21.01.2026 को पोर्ट ब्लेयर में एक सफल और अच्छी उपस्थिति वाला बीए लेवल कन्वेंशन आयोजित किया। कन्वेंशन की अध्यक्षता साथी  एम. राजेंद्रन, प्रेसिडेंट, BSNLEU ने की। साथी  एस.पी. कलैराजन, सर्कल सेक्रेटरी, BSNLEU ने चर्चा के लिए सर्कल रिपोर्ट पेश की। उन्होंने बीएसएनएल में वेतन संशोधन की वर्तमान स्थिति, चार लेबर कोड के खिलाफ चल रहे विरोध प्रदर्शन, 12 फरवरी 2026 को प्रस्तावित आम हड़ताल और कॉन्ट्रैक्ट कर्मचारियों की छंटनी के गंभीर मुद्दे के बारे में विस्तार से बताया। यह भी तय किया गया कि सर्कल यूनियन जनरल सेक्रेटरी की सहमति से फरवरी महीने में अपना अगला सर्कल कॉन्फ्रेंस आयोजित करने की पहल करेगी। चर्चा के अंत में, सदन ने सर्वसम्मति से सर्कल सेक्रेटरी द्वारा प्रस्तुत रिपोर्ट को मंजूरी दे दी। साथी  चितरंजन बिस्वास, असिस्टेंट सर्कल सेक्रेटरी ने धन्यवाद प्रस्ताव दिया और कन्वेंशन सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हुआ।

The Indian working class is organising a nationwide General Strike on 12th February, 2026, opposing the Modi Government’s implementation of the four Labour Codes, the weakening of Public Sector Undertakings and other anti-worker policies. BSNLEU and NFTE BSNL are actively joining this General Strike. In addition to the demands raised by the Central Trade Unions, BSNLEU and NFTE BSNL have also put forth specific demands of BSNL employees, including the immediate settlement of Wage Revision, early launching of quality 4G services, implementation of a new Promotion Policy and other related issues. Accordingly, BSNLEU and NFTE BSNL jointly served a Strike Notice on 22.01.2026 to the CMD, BSNL and the Secretary (Telecom).

As per the call given by the CHQ, BSNLEU, a BA-level Convention was successfully conducted at Vellore on 20.01.2026 at Belliappa Hall under the presidentship of Com. Murugan, District Secretary, AIBDPA. Com. B. Marimuthu, Circle Secretary, BSNLEU, welcomed the gathering. The meeting was addressed by Com. S. Chellappa, Assistant General Secretary, BSNLEU, Com. C. Gnasekaran, Circle President, AIBDPA and Com. T. Kannan, Circle Vice President, TNTCWU (BSNLCCWF). Com. S. Chellappa spoke elaborately on the Wage Revision issue and emphasised the importance of active participation in the forthcoming General Strike. More than 100 comrades from BSNLEU, AIBDPA, and TNTCWU participated in the convention.

The BA Level Convention of Nagercoil BA, Tamil Nadu circle, was held on 23.01.2026 at the BSNL Conference Hall, Nagercoil, under the presidentship of Com. K. George, District Secretary, AIBDPA. Around 60 members of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and TNTCWU participated in the convention. Com. K. Suyambulingam, District Secretary, BSNLEU, welcomed the participants. Com. B. Marimuthu, Circle Secretary, BSNLEU, spoke in detail on the Wage Agreement for BSNL Non-Executives and the General Strike scheduled on 12th February, 2026. Com. P. Indra, Circle Vice President, AIBDPA, strongly criticised the anti-worker policies of the Government and demanded pension revision for BSNL pensioners. Com. Thanga Mariappan, CWC Member, TNTCWU, highlighted the issues faced by contract workers. Com. T. Arumugam, Retired Joint Professor, emphasised the need for communal harmony.

Krishnan, District Secretary, BSNLEU, welcomed the gathering. The convention was addressed by Com. S. Hariharan, ACS, BSNLEU, Com. G. Umarani, ACS, BSNLEU, Com. Gopalan, CVP, AIBDPA and Com. Sridharan, ACS, TNTCWU. All the leaders spoke elaborately on the issue of Wage Revision and highlighted the importance of the General Strike scheduled on 12th February, 2026. More than 80 comrades actively participated in the convention.

A meeting was held at Gorakhpur BA on 23.01.2026 under the chairmanship of Com. Rahul Rai and presided over by Com. Anand Singh, AGS, BSNLEU. Com. Tilak Raj Tiwari, Circle Secretary, UP (East) Circle, addressed the meeting and spoke in detail on the General Strike scheduled to be held on 12th February, the review process and important organisational matters. Com. Rajnandan Gupta, District Secretary, Deoria, also addressed the gathering. District Secretaries from Mau and Basti participated and shared their views. The meeting concluded successfully, and thanks were expressed to all the comrades.

A meeting of the General Secretaries and representatives of the Unions and Associations was held on 20.01.2026 at the AIGETOA Office, during which all participants expressed satisfaction over the approval of the Wage Agreement in the Management Committee and Remuneration Committee meetings. The forum decided to halt the future course of action for the time being. However, to continue pressure on the management, it was resolved to submit a letter to the CMD, BSNL, urging early recommendation of the Wage Agreement to the DoT, and also seeking settlement of the Chennai–Tamil Nadu issue through the transfer of CGM, Tamil Nadu/Chennai and GM (HR), Chennai & Tamil Nadu. The forum will also attempt to have a courtesy meeting with the newly appointed Secretary, DoT. Further, it was decided to take positive and active efforts to prepare a memorandum for submission to Members of Parliament, requesting them to raise the issue of relaxation of the Affordability Clause in the forthcoming Parliament Session, likely to commence on 1st February 2026. The future course of action will be decided in the next meeting of the Unions and Associations, likely to be held on 03.02.2026 at the SNEA Office, Eastern Court.

The Uttarakhand Circle Union organised a successful BA Level Convention on 18.01.2026 at the Dehradun Telephone Exchange, in response to the CHQ call for BA-level conventions. The convention was presided over by Com. J. P. Kothari, Senior leader, AIBDPA. Com. K. S. Soun, President, BSNLEU, welcomed the participants and explained the relevance of the convention. Com. Devendra Bisht, Circle Secretary, highlighted the achievements of CHQ regarding the Wage Agreement and raised concerns over the Labour Codes. Com. Kishorilal Chamoli, District Secretary, spoke on staff issues and urged workers to strengthen the organisation. Com.Animesh Mitra, General Secretary, greeted the workers for attending the convention despite the winter season and a holiday, stating that their participation reflected strong faith in the organisation. He elaborated on the role of CHQ in obtaining approval of the wage agreement from both the Management Committee and the Remuneration Committee, while cautioning that close monitoring is still required to secure Board approval. He also outlined the future roadmap for the struggle to secure relaxation of the affordability clause, which has become a major obstacle to the implementation of the 3rd PRC in BSNL. Further, he called upon the workers to actively participate in the struggles of the Central Trade Unions, including the nationwide strike on 12th February 2026. He also explained the attacks on pensioners by the Central Government following the introduction of the Pension Amendment Bill, 2025. The convention concluded with a resolve to strengthen the organisation and ensure victory in the forthcoming Membership Verification (MV) in the Uttarakhand Circle.
