EPFO has fixed 03-05-2023 as the last date for filing application for higher  pension. However, today, the EPFO has extended this deadline up to 26-06-2023.  The EPFO has stated that, the timeline is being extended to facilitate and provide ample opportunity to the pensioners / members, so as to to ease out any difficulty faced by them. All concerned comrades are requested to make note of this extension of time limit.  As per the decision of the All India Centre of BSNLEU, black badge wearing lunch hour protest demonstrations were organised throughout the country today, condemning the withdrawal of recognition of NFPE and AIPEU, Group ‘C’. The angry demonstrators condemned the anti-democratic and anti-trade union action of the Government / Postal Department and demanded immediate restoration of recognition to NFPE and AIPEU, Group ‘C’. CHQ heartily congratulates all the circle and district unions for successfully organising the protest demonstrations within a very short notice .

वेतन पुनःनिरीक्षण को लेकर पूरी तरह से निराधार अफवाह उड़ाई गई है। व्हाट्सएप पर यह संदेश व्यापक रूप से प्रसारित किया जा रहा है। इस फर्जी खबर में नोन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स, एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स के वेतनमान, फिटमेंट प्रतिशत और लागू होने की तारीख का उल्लेख किया गया है। इसको लेकर महासचिव से विभिन्न साथियों के सवाल आ रहे हैं। *सीएचक्यू सूचित करना चाहता है कि, यह मैसेज पूरी तरह से फर्जी है । साथियों से निवेदन है कि इसे अनदेखा करें और साथ ही इसे किसी को फॉरवर्ड न करें।

काम के घंटे 8 घंटे से अधिक बढ़ाने के लिए तमिलनाडु विधानसभा में पारित विधेयक वापस लिया गया है ।

21.04.2023 को कारखानों में काम के घंटे 8 घंटे से बढ़ाकर 12 घंटे करने के लिए, फैक्ट्री अधिनियम में संशोधन करने के लिए, तमिलनाडु राज्य विधानसभा में एक विधेयक पारित किया गया था । सत्तारूढ़ डीएमके के सहयोगी दलों की ओर से भी इस संशोधन का कड़ा विरोध हुआ । सभी केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों ने संशोधन के खिलाफ 12.05.2023 को तमिलनाडु में एक दिन की हड़ताल की घोषणा की । इन परिस्थितियों में, श्री एम.के. स्टालिन, तमिलनाडु के मुख्यमंत्री ने कल चेन्नई में मई दिवस की बैठक को संबोधित करते हुए घोषणा की कि काम के घंटे बढ़ाने के लिए पारित संशोधन वापस ले लिया गया है ।

On 21.04.2023, a bill was passed in the Tamil Nadu State Assembly, to amend the Factories Act, for increasing the working hours in factories from 8 hours to 12 hours. There was severe opposition to this amendment even from the alliance partners of the ruling DMK. All the Central Trade Unions announced one day strike in Tamil Nadu on 12.05.2023, against the amendment. Under these circumstances, Shri M.K. Stalin, Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, while addressing a May Day meeting at Chennai yesterday, announced that the amendment passed to increase the working hours is withdrawn. 

Miscreance have floated a completely baseless rumour regarding Pay Revision. This message is being widely circulated in WhatsApp. Pay scales of the Non-Executives, Executives, fitment percentage and date of effect are all mentioned in this bogus news. General Secretary is getting queries from various comrades regarding this. CHQ wishes to inform that, this message is completely bogus. Comrades are requested to ignore it and also not to forward it to anyone.
