The Central Executive Committee, and the All India Centre of BSNLEU are repeatedly stressing upon the need to educate the young comrades, with the view to strengthen our Union. In this connection, a two day class was organised at New Delhi last year, in connection with the 75^th anniversary of Indian Independence. In continuation of this, the CHQ is organising one more class for the young comrades of the Hindi speaking circles. This class will be organised at New Delhi on 09^th & 10^th September, 2023. Considering the language problem, separate class will be organised for the young employees of the non-Hindi speaking circles soon. The CHQ will discuss with the circle secretaries of the Hindi speaking circles and will finalise the list of participants for the class to be held in September.

बीएसएनएल वर्किंग वीमेंस को-ऑर्डिनेशन कमिटी (बीएसएनएल डब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूसीसी) की अखिल भारतीय विस्तारित बैठक 2 और 3 सितंबर, 2023 को नई दिल्ली में होगी।

BSNLEU के अखिल भारतीय केंद्र ने 2 और 3 सितंबर, 2023 को नई दिल्ली में बीएसएनएल डब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूसीसी की एक विस्तारित बैठक आयोजित करने का निर्णय लिया है। बीएसएनएल डब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूसीसी की अखिल भारतीय समिति के सदस्यों के अलावा, बीएसएनएल डब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूसीसी के सभी सर्कल संयोजक भी इस बैठक में भाग लेंगे। इस बैठक की अधिसूचना शीघ्र ही जारी की जाएगी। सभी सर्कल सचिवों से अनुरोध है कि कृपया यह सुनिश्चित करें कि बीएसएनएल डब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूसीसी की अखिल भारतीय समिति के सदस्यों के साथ-साथ बीएसएनएल डब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूसीसी के संयोजक भी इस बैठक में अनिवार्य रूप से भाग लें।

The All India Centre of BSNLEU has decided to hold an Extended meeting of the BSNLWWCC, at New Delhi, on 2nd and 3rd September, 2023. Apart from the All India Committee members of the BSNLWWCC, all the Circle Convenors of the BSNLWWCC shall also attend this meeting. Notification for this meeting will be issued shortly . All the circle secretaries are requested to kindly ensure that the All India Committee members of the BSNL WWCC, as well as the convenors of the BSNLWWCC, attend this meeting without fail.

BSNLEU और बीएसएनएल डब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूसीसी ने कर्मचारियों से महिलाओं के खिलाफ अत्याचार रोकने और मणिपुर में शांति बहाल करने की मांग को लेकर 27.07.2023 को दोपहर के भोजन अवकाश में प्रदर्शन आयोजित करने का आह्वान किया।

यह बात पूरी दुनिया जानती है कि मणिपुर राज्य पिछले 2 महीने से ज्यादा समय से जल रहा है। महिलाओं के विरुद्ध अभूतपूर्व हिंसा एवं अत्याचार हो रहे हैं। हालाँकि, केंद्र सरकार ने हिंसा को कम करने के लिए कोई सार्थक कदम नहीं उठाया है। यह ध्यान रखना बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है कि भारत के सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने कहा है कि "संविधान और मानवाधिकारों का सबसे बड़ा उल्लंघन" मणिपुर में हो रहा है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने सरकार से आगे कहा है कि अगर केंद्र सरकार कोई कार्रवाई नहीं करती है तो वह मणिपुर में हिंसा को नियंत्रित करने के लिए कार्रवाई करने के लिए मजबूर होगी। सभी बातों पर विचार करते हुए BSNLEU और बीएसएनएल वर्किंग वीमेंस को-ऑर्डिनेशन कमिटी (बीएसएनएल डब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूसीसी) ने कर्मचारियों से 27.07.2023 को दोपहर के भोजन अवकाश में प्रदर्शन आयोजित करने का आह्वान करने का निर्णय लिया है, जिसमें केंद्र सरकार से मांग की गई है : 

(A) मणिपुर में महिलाओं के खिलाफ अत्याचार बंद करो।

(B) मणिपुर में हिंसा को कम करने और शांति बहाल करने के लिए तत्काल कदम उठाएं।

BSNLEU का सीएचक्यू BSNLEU के सर्कल और जिला यूनियनों और बीएसएनएलडब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूसीसी की सर्कल और जिला इकाइयों से प्रदर्शन में अधिकतम संख्या में साथियों को जुटाने और इसे सफल बनाने का आह्वान करता है।

It is known to the entire world that, the state of Manipur is burning for more than 2 months now. Unprecedented violence and atrocities against women are taking place. However, the Central Government has not taken any meaningful step to put down violence. It is very significant to note that, the Supreme Court of India has stated that, “ the grossest violation of the Constitution and human rights” is taking place in Manipur. The Supreme Court has further told the government that, it would be compelled to take action to control violence in Manipur, if the Central Government does not take any action. Considering all the factors, BSNLEU and the BSNL Working Women’s Co-ordination Committee (BSNLWWCC) have decided to call on the employees to organise lunch hour demonstrations on 27.07.2023, demanding the Central Government to :-

(a)    Stop the atrocities against women in Manipur.

(b)   Take immediate steps to put down violence and to restore peace in Manipur.

The CHQ of BSNLEU calls on the circle and district unions of BSNLEU and also the circle and district units of BSNLWWCC to mobilise the maximum number of comrades in the demonstrations and to make it a grand success.

The Supreme Court of India expressed it’s deep anguish yesterday the 20-07-2023, on seeing the video clip of two women being paraded naked and sexually assaulted in Manipur. The Supreme Court summoned the Attorney General and also the Solicitor General to the Court and told them that, what is happening in Manipur is “grossest of Constitutional and human rights violations”. The Supreme Court told that, it gives a little time to the Central Government to take action and that the Supreme Court itself will take action if the Central Government fails to restore peace in Manipur.

अनुकंपा आधार पर नियुक्तियों(सीजीए) पर लगाए गए प्रतिबंध में ढील दें। - 234 कोविड पीड़ितों के आश्रितों और ड्यूटी के दौरान दुर्घटनाओं में मृत/मृत्यु होनेवाले कर्मचारियों के आश्रितों को भी नियुक्ति पर विचार करें - BSNLEU ने सीएमडी बीएसएनएल और निदेशक मंडल को पत्र लिखा है। 

09.04.2019 को बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन ने अनुकंपा आधार नियुक्ति (सीजीए) को 3 साल के लिए स्थगित रखा है। इसके बाद प्रबंधन ने 07.03.2022 को अनुकंपा आधार पर नियुक्ति(सीजीए) पर अनिश्चितकालीन रोक लगा दी है।  अब तक, BSNLEU पहले ही 4 पत्र (10.04.2019, 21.12.2021, 21.04.2022 और 08.06.2022 को) लिखकर अनुकंपा आधारित नियुक्ति (सीजीए)  पर लगाए गए प्रतिबंध में ढील देने की मांग कर चुका है, ताकि कम से कम 234 कोविड-19 पीड़ितों के आश्रितों और उन कर्मचारियों के आश्रितों को भी रोजगार दिया जा सके जिनका अपने कर्तव्यों का पालन करते समय दुर्घटनाओं में मृत्यु हुआ हैं/मृत्यु होगा। हालाँकि, यह दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है कि, बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन ने अनुकंपा आधारित नियुक्ति(सीजीए) पर प्रतिबंध में ढील देने की BSNLEU की मांग को भी स्वीकार नहीं किया। आज एक बार फिर BSNLEU ने सभी निदेशक मंडल को प्रतियों के साथ सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को संबोधित पत्र लिखकर अनुकंपा आधारित नियुक्ति (सीजीए) पर लगाए गए प्रतिबंध में ढील देने की मांग की है।

On 09.04.2019, the BSNL Management kept the Compassionate Ground Appointments (CGA) under abeyance for 3 years. Thereafter, on 07.03.2022, the Management imposed an indefinite ban on Compassionate Ground Appointments. So far, BSNLEU has already written 4 letters (on 10.04.2019, 21.12.2021, 21.04.2022 and 08.06.2022), demanding to relax the ban imposed on CGA, so that employment can be given at least to the dependents of the 234 Covid-19 victims and also to the dependents of the officials who have died / will die in accidents while performing their duties. However, it is unfortunate that, the BSNL Management not even accepted the demand of BSNLEU for the relaxation of the ban on CGA. Today, once again BSNLEU has written letter addressed to the CMD BSNL, with copies to all the Board of Directors, demanding relaxation of the ban imposed on CGA.

The BSNL and MTNL employees of Mumbai organised a “Chalo Santacruz” agitational programme at CGM office, Mumbai, on 18.07.2023.  They protested against the high-handed action of the BSNL and MTNL Managements which are evicting the BSNL, MTNL, DoT and retired employees from their quarters located at Powai and Dadar, in the name of Monetisation. A large number of employees, retired employees and their family members participated in this programme. The meeting was addressed by Shri Arvind Savant, MP, Com.Ganesh Hinge, CS, BSNLEU, Com.K.G. Mathew, CS, AIGETOA, Com.Sameer Khare, CS, SNEA, Com.Linesh Valvi, CS, SEWA and Com.Yashawant Kekare, DS, BSNLEU, CGM Office, Mumbai.
