It is a known fact that, the results of the JTO LICE, held in Punjab circle for the vacancy year 2014-15 has not been declared so far, due to legal complications. BSNLEU is pressing hard on the Corporate Management for finding an early solution for the declaration of the JTO LICE results. However, due to the non-cooperation of the Punjab circle administration, there is heavy delay in finding a solution to this issue. For example, in the hearing held on 31.05.2023, neither the BSNL advocate nor anyone from Punjab circle administration was present in the court during the hearing. This issue was seriously taken up by BSNLEU with the CMD BSNL and Director (HR). Under these circumstances, the hearing of the case came up on 01.08.2023. During this hearing, both the BSNL advocate and also the DGM (Admn.) & AGM (Legal) were present in the court room. However, in this hearing, only cases up to serial no.39 were heard. The serial number of JTO LICE case was 45. Hence, the case was not heard. The next date of the hearing has been fixed as 25.08.2023. BSNLEU will seriously pursue this issue.

Dr. Kalayan Sagar Nippani is selected as the next Director (HR) of BSNL. Presently, he is working as PGM(Finance) in Chennai Telephones. Today, Com.P.Abhimanyu, General Secretary, called on Dr. Kalayan Sagar Nippani and congratulated him for having selected as the next Director (HR) of BSNL. Com.M.Sridhara Subramanian, Circle Secretary, Chennai and Com.A.J. Shree Ganesh, Asstt. Circle Secretary, Chennai, accompanied the General Secretary.  The representatives of BSNLEU briefly discussed about certain issues of the Non-Executives and also about the involvement of BSNL’s manpower in the early revival of the Company.

मोदी सरकार की कॉरपोरेट समर्थक नीतियों के खिलाफ लड़ने के लिए मजदूर और किसान संगठन दिल्ली में ऐतिहासिक संयुक्त सम्मेलन आयोजित कर रहे हैं।

आरएसएस से संबद्ध बीएमएस को छोड़कर  सभी केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनें सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के निजीकरण और मोदी सरकार की अन्य श्रमिक-विरोधी और कॉर्पोरेट-समर्थक नीतियों के खिलाफ वीरतापूर्वक लड़ रही हैं। इसी प्रकार, किसान संगठनों ने एकजुट होकर एक बड़ा संघर्ष आयोजित किया और सरकार को 3 कॉर्पोरेट समर्थक कृषि अधिनियमों को वापस लेने के लिए मजबूर किया। अब, सरकार की गलत नीतियों के खिलाफ मजदूरों और किसानों का एकजुट संघर्ष खड़ा करने के उद्देश्य से केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियन और संयुक्त किसान मोर्चा संयुक्त रूप से *24.08.2023 को नई दिल्ली में एक राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन* का आयोजन कर रहे हैं। यह सम्मेलन मोदी सरकार की अमीर समर्थक और जनविरोधी नीतियों के खिलाफ एकजुट होकर लड़ने के तरीके खोजेगा। BSNLEU इस सम्मेलन में भाग लेगा। यह सम्मेलन नई दिल्ली के तालकटोरा इंडोर स्टेडियम में आयोजित किया जाएगा।

The entire Central Trade Unions, excepting the RSS affiliated BMS, are heroically fighting against the privatisation of the Public Sector and other anti-worker and pro-corporate policies of the Modi government. Similarly, the peasants’ organisations unitedly organised a major struggle and forced the government to withdraw the 3 pro-corporate Farm Acts. Now, with the view to build up a united struggle of the workers and peasants against the government’s wrong policies, the Central Trade Unions and the Samyukt Kisan Morcha are jointly organising a National Convention at New Delhi on 24.08.2023.This Convention will formulate the ways and means to unitedly fight against the pro-rich and anti-people policies of the Modi government. BSNLEU will be participating in this Convention. This Convention will be held in the Talkatora Indoor Stadium at New Delhi.

BSNL Employees Union is an active participant of the Trade Union International (Transports & Communications). Com.Ilhami, one of the leaders of the TUI, came from Turkey to address BSNLEU’s All India Conference held at Guwahati last year. Com.P.Abhimanyu, General Secretary, BSNLEU, is functioning as the Convenor of the Communications Sector of this Trade Union International. In the online meeting of the TUI (Transports & Communications) held on 11.07.2023, it has been decided that, the next Congress of the Trade Union International (Transports & Communications) will be held at Athens in Greece on 21^st & 22^nd November, 2023. PAME, The militant trade union of Greece is hosting this Congress. The Central Executive Committee meeting of BSNLEU, held at Bhopal on 06^th & 07^th May, 2023 has already decided that Com.P.Abhimanyu, Converor of the Communications Sector of TUI should attend this Congress. 

हिमाचल प्रदेश सर्कल में त्रुटिपूर्ण जेएओ एलआईसीई आयोजित - BSNLEU प्रबंधन की निष्क्रियता की आलोचना करता है और तत्काल उचित कार्रवाई की मांग करता है।

हिमाचल प्रदेश सर्कल में वेकेंसी वर्ष 2016 के लिए जेएओ एलआईसीई आयोजित की गई । इस एलआईसीई का आयोजन 2012 में आयोजित जेएओ एलआईसीई के अधूरें रिक्त पदों को आगे बढ़ाए बिना आयोजित की गई थी। इसके परिणामस्वरूप, एससी समुदाय से संबंधित एक उम्मीदवार अपनी पदोन्नति से वंचित हो जाता है। BSNLEU ने इस मुद्दे को कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय के समक्ष उठाया है और बार-बार अनुस्मारक लिख रहा है। हालांकि प्रबंधन की ओर से अब तक कोई कार्रवाई नहीं की गयी है। आज जनरल मैनेजर (कार्मिक) को लिखे एक पत्र में BSNLEU ने प्रबंधन की निष्क्रियता की आलोचना की है और इस मुद्दे पर शीघ्र कार्रवाई की मांग की है।

JAO LICE for the vacancy year 2016 was conducted in Himachal Pradesh circle, without carrying forward the unfilled vacancies of the JAO LICE conducted in 2012. As a result of this, a candidate belonging to the SC community is deprived of his promotion. BSNLEU has taken up this issue with the Corporate Office and is repeatedly writing reminders. However, no action is taken by the Management so far. In a letter written to the GM(Pers.) today, BSNLEU has criticised the inaction of the Management and has demanded prompt action on the issue.

It has already been intimated that, an Extended meeting of the BSNL Working Women’s Coordination Committee (BSNLWWCC) will be held at New Delhi on 2nd & 3rd September, 2023. The Convenor of the BSNLWWCC has issued the notification for holding this meeting. The same is enclosed herewith.
