अनुसूचित जाति/अनुसूचित जनजाति कर्मचारियों का आरक्षण- बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन द्वारा डीओपी एण्ड टी के आदेशों का कार्यान्वयन न करना- BSNLEU ने राष्ट्रीय अनुसूचित जाति आयोग को पत्र लिखा। 

बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन विभिन्न एलआईसीई के आयोजन में डीओपी एण्ड टी के आदेशों को लागू नहीं कर रहा है। "मूल्यांकन के निम्न मानक" अपनाकर अनुत्तीर्ण एससी/एसटी अभ्यर्थियों के परिणामों की समीक्षा नहीं की जा रही है। इसी प्रकार, बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन भी एससी/एसटी उम्मीदवारों के लिए आरक्षित पदों के विरुद्ध स्वयं की योग्यता वाले एससी/एसटी उम्मीदवारों की गणना करके डीओपी एण्ड टी के आदेशों का उल्लंघन कर रहा है। BSNLEU द्वारा सीएमडी बीएसएनएल के साथ कई बार चर्चा करने के बावजूद इन मुद्दों का समाधान नहीं हुआ है। इसलिए, BSNLEU ने आज राष्ट्रीय अनुसूचित जाति आयोग को एक पत्र लिखा है, जिसमें यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए आयोग के हस्तक्षेप की मांग की गई है कि, बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन उपरोक्त डीओपी एण्ड टी आदेशों को लागू करता है। इसी तरह का पत्र राष्ट्रीय अनुसूचित जनजाति आयोग को भी लिखा जाएगा।

नोन एक्ज़ीक्यूटिव यूनियनों की मान्यता अवधि 3 वर्ष से बदलकर 4 वर्ष की गई - कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय ने पत्र जारी किया।

बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन ने नोन एक्ज़ीक्यूटिव यूनियनों की मान्यता की अवधि को 3 साल से बढ़ाकर 4 साल करने का प्रस्ताव दिया था। BSNLEU समेत सभी प्रमुख नोन एक्ज़ीक्यूटिव ट्रेड यूनियनों ने इस प्रस्ताव को स्वीकार कर लिया है। इसके परिणामस्वरूप बीएसएनएल की प्रबंधन समिति ने मान्यता अवधि को 3 वर्ष से 4 वर्ष करने के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दे दी है और कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय ने आज पत्र जारी कर परिवर्तन की सूचना दी है। यह आदेश अगले (10वें) सदस्यता सत्यापन से लागू होगा। 

The BSNL Management is not implementing the DoP&T orders in conducting various LICEs.  The results of the failed SC/ST candidates are not being reviewed, by adopting “Lesser Standards of Evaluation.” Similarly, BSNL Management is also violating the DoP&T orders by counting the own merit SC/ST candidates against the posts reserved for SC/ST candidates. These issues are not resolved, despite BSNLEU discussing them with the CMD BSNL a number of times. Hence, BSNLEU has written a letter to the National Commission for Scheduled Castes today, demanding the intervention of the Commission to ensure that, the BSNL Management implements the aforementioned DoP&T orders. A similar letter will be written to the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes also.

The BSNL Management had made the proposal to increase the period of Recognition of the Non-Executive Unions, from 3 years to 4 years. All the major Trade Unions of the Non-Executives, including BSNLEU have accepted this proposal. Consequent to this, the Management Committee of BSNL has approved the proposal to change the recognition period from 3 years to 4 years and the Corporate Office has issued letter today, notifying the change. This order will come into force from the next (10^th) Membership Verification. 

भारत का कर्ज 2028 तक उसके सकल घरेलू उत्पाद-जीडीपी के 100% से अधिक हो सकता है - अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मुद्रा कोष (आईएमएफ) ने चेतावनी दी है।  

मार्च 2023 के अंत में केंद्र सरकार का कर्ज 155 लाख करोड़ रुपये था। इस स्थिति में आईएमएफ ने भविष्यवाणी की है कि वित्तीय वर्ष 2028 तक भारत का सामान्य ऋण उसके सकल घरेलू उत्पाद का 100% से अधिक हो सकता है। आईएमएफ को भारत की जनता से उम्मीद है 2024-25 में कर्ज बढ़कर जीडीपी का 82.3 प्रतिशत हो जाएगा। हालांकि, केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्रालय ने कहा है कि आईएमएफ की भविष्यवाणी के सच होने की संभावना नहीं है। इस बीच कांग्रेस पार्टी ने आरोप लगाया है कि 2014 में भारत सरकार पर कर्ज सिर्फ 55 लाख करोड़ रुपये था, जबकि वर्तमान में यह 155 लाख करोड़ रुपये से अधिक हो गया है। 

The Central government’s debt stood at a whopping Rs 155 lakh crore at the end of March 2023. Under this situation, the IMF has predicted that India's general debt may exceed 100% of its GDP, by the financial year 2028. The IMF expects India’s public debt to rise to 82.3 per cent of the GDP in 2024-25. However, the Union Finance Ministry has said that the prediction of the IMF is unlikely to happen. In the meanwhile, the Congress Party has alleged that Indian government’ debt was only Rs.55 lakh crore in 2014, while it has crossed Rs.155 lakh crore presently

The Times of India, one of the leading newspapers of India, has published the above cartoon. At the time of Christmas, normally, Santa Claus will give toys to the children. But, in the above cartoon, the toys are asking Santa Claus to gift them some children. This cartoon speaks volumes about the mass killing of Palestinian children in Gaza. Around 20,000 Palestinians are killed in Gaza so far, by the Israeli attacks. Out of this, a sizeable number is that of the children.

यह चिंताजनक बात है कि बीएसएनएल ने सितंबर, 2023 के महीने में 23 लाख ग्राहक खो दिए हैं। ट्राई की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, सितंबर-2023 में 23,26,751 ग्राहकों ने बीएसएनएल छोड़ दिया है। यह ध्यान रखना महत्वपूर्ण है कि, बीएसएनएल पहले ही अगस्त- 2023 में 22 लाख ग्राहक खो चुका है। निस्संदेह, बीएसएनएल वास्तविक गहरे संकट में है। ग्राहकों का इतना बड़ा नुकसान बीएसएनएल को पहले कभी नहीं हुआ है। बीएसएनएल इस संकट का सामना केवल इसलिए कर रहा है क्योंकि उसके पास 4G/5G सेवाएं उपलब्ध नहीं हैं। ट्राई की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, रिलायंस जियो ने सितंबर-2023 में 34 लाख ग्राहक (34,75,488) हासिल किए हैं और एयरटेल ने में 13 लाख ग्राहक (13,20,256) जोड़े हैं।
