Earlier, LIC premium of our employees was deducted from the salary by the Management and the same was remitted to the LIC. However, this system has now been discontinued. If the LIC premium of the employees is deducted from the salary and remitted to LIC, it will be very helpful to our employees. Even today, all government departments and other PSU Managements are deducting LIC premium of the employees from the salary and are remitting the same to the LIC. BSNLEU has already written letter to the CMD BSNL earlier, demanding to restore this system in BSNL. Today, once again BSNLEU has written letter to the CMD BSNL, requesting him to restore the deduction of LIC premium from the salary of the employees and remit the same to the LIC.

This is causing annoyance to the high- end customers of BSNL. BSNLEU has already written to the CMD BSNL, demanding to provide E-SIM facility to our customers. BSNLEU has specifically taken up the issue of Com.Shakeel Ahmad Siddiqui, District Treasurer of Jabalpur, who has been transferred out of Jabalpur, violating the Corporate Office orders on the subject. The issue was discussed with the PGM(SR), BSNL CO also. Consequent to this, the issue has now been settled. The CGM Office, MP circle, has written letter to the GM, Jabalpur, directing to strictly implement the Corporate Office order on the subject.

पहली बार ऐसा हुआ है कि रिलायंस जियो, भारती एयरटेल और वोडाफोन आइडिया को भारी ग्राहक घाटा हुआ है, जबकि *बीएसएनएल ने अपने ग्राहकों की संख्या में उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि की है।* ट्राई द्वारा जारी आंकड़ों के अनुसार, जुलाई, 2024 में जियो ने 7.5 लाख ग्राहक, एयरटेल ने 16.9 लाख ग्राहक और वोडाफोन आइडिया ने 14.10 लाख ग्राहक खो दिए हैं। इसी महीने बीएसएनएल ने अपने ग्राहकों की संख्या में 29.30 लाख की वृद्धि की है। निश्चित रूप से यह एक स्वागत योग्य विकास है। इसके पीछे तीनों निजी दूरसंचार कंपनियों द्वारा की गई भारी टैरिफ वृद्धि ही कारण है। बीएसएनएल को तुरंत अपनी राष्ट्रव्यापी 4G सेवा शुरू करनी चाहिए, ताकि माइग्रेट किए गए ग्राहकों को बनाए रखा जा सके और निजी ऑपरेटरों से अधिक ग्राहकों को आकर्षित किया जा सके।

For the first time, Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea have suffered heavy customer loss, while BSNL has increased it’s customers sizeably. According to the data released by the TRAI, in the month of July, 2024, Jio has lost 7.5 lakh customers, Airtel has lost 16.9 lakh customers and Vodafone Idea has lost 14.10 lakh customers. In the same month BSNL has increased it’s customers by 29.30 lakh customers. Certainly, this is a welcome development. The steep tariff increase done by all the 3 private telecom companies is the reason behind this. BSNL has to immediately start its nationwide 4G service, to retain the migrated customers and also to attract more customers from the private operators.

The cases of these outstanding sports personnel are duly recommended by their respective CGMs. However, the vested interests sitting in the Sports Cell of the Admin. Branch, deny justice to these sports personnel. After repeatedly taking up the issue with the Admin. Branch, BSNLEU has written letter to the Director (HR) today, seeking his intervention for the settlement of these cases.
