कर्मचारियों की कुछ लंबित समस्याओं का निपटान - साथी अनिमेष मित्रा, महासचिव, ने श्री एस.पी. सिंह, प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर (एस्टा), बीएसएनएल कॉर्पोरेट ऑफिस के साथ शीघ्र निपटान के लिए चर्चा की।
साथी अनिमेष मित्रा, महासचिव, ने श्री एस.पी. सिंह, प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर (एस्टा), बीएसएनएल कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय के साथ कई लंबित कर्मचारियों के मुद्दों पर कल चर्चा की। नेशनल काउंसिल में चर्चा के बावजूद खेल कर्मियों की पदोन्नति का मुद्दा उठाया गया, जो अभी भी कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय में लंबित है। जवाब में, प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर (एस्टा) ने आश्वासन दिया कि फाइल को आगे की कार्रवाई के लिए उच्च प्राधिकारी के समक्ष रखा जाएगा। आकस्मिक मजदूरों को डीए के भुगतान के संबंध में, श्री एस.पी. सिंह ने बताया कि आवश्यक कार्रवाई के लिए फाइल पहले ही निदेशक (वित्त) को प्रस्तुत की जा चुकी है। महासचिव ने प्रतिनियुक्ति हस्तांतरण का मुद्दा भी उठाया, जिसमें वर्तमान में उत्तर प्रदेश (पश्चिम) सर्कल में तैनात कुछ जेई की प्रतिनियुक्ति अवधि को बढ़ाने की मांग की गई है। प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर (एस्टा) ने आश्वासन दिया कि आगे के दिशानिर्देशों के लिए निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) के साथ मामले पर चर्चा की जाएगी।
The Central Secretariat meeting held on 11.01.2026, calls upon all the circle and district unions to immediately commence a massive campaign programme to make the 12th February General Strike a grand success. An All India Centre meeting was held on 19.01.2026 to review the preparations for the General Strike. After detailed discussions, all members unanimously opined that the campaign on the Charter of Demands should begin immediately among the employees. It was also decided to prominently include the burning issues of BSNL employees in the Charter of Demands. The CHQ will hold discussions with NFTE-BSNL to make the strike successful in BSNL. Efforts will be made to issue the strike notice jointly to the Management, and on the day of submission of the strike notice, countrywide demonstrations / gate meetings will be organised to popularise the Charter of Demands among the members. The Coordination Committee of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF will actively participate in the campaign programme. It was further decided to organise BA / Circle-level Conventions as part of the campaign to ensure the grand success of the strike. The CEC meeting at Mangalore will further intensify and streamline the campaign programme so as to ensure the successful implementation of the General Strike in BSNL.
It was decided in our last CEC meeting to organise a Trade Union Class on Labour Codes to create awareness among our leaders and cadres. In this context, an Online Trade Union Class on the subject of Labour Codes will be held on 24th January, 2026 at 07:00 pm. The Central Trade Unions have called for an All India Strike on 12th February, based on a 10-point Charter of Demands, in which the Labour Codes and Shram Shakti Niti–2025 are major issues. Therefore, it is essential to educate and equip our circle and district-level leaders with a clear understanding of these subjects. Com. K.N. Umesh, National Secretary, CITU, will be the speaker for the class. All Circle Secretaries are requested to take up this programme as a challenge and ensure the maximum participation of leaders and cadres from their respective circles and districts. Circle Secretaries are requested to confirm the number of participants by the evening of 23rd January, 2026. Based on the confirmation received, the online meeting link will be circulated on the morning of 24th January, 2026. Circle Secretaries are requested to note and act accordingly.
On 16.01.2026, Com. Animesh Mitra, General Secretary and Com. Ashwin Kumar, AGS, met Shri Rajiv Kumar Kaushik, PGM (SR). During discussions with the PGM (Pers.), it was learnt that significant progress has been made regarding the approval of the Wage Agreement at the appropriate level. It was informed that, following the approval of the Management Committee, the Remuneration Committee has also accorded its approval to the Wage Agreement. Further, it was learnt that the relevant documents on the subject has already been circulated to all Board Members. The staff side is now eagerly awaiting the approval of the Board, which is likely to be taken up in the Board Meeting scheduled towards the end of this month.
Com. Animesh Mitra, General Secretary, held discussions with Shri S. P. Singh, PGM (Estt.), BSNL Corporate Office, yesterday on several pending staff issues. The issue of promotion of sports personnel, which is still pending at the Corporate Office despite discussions in the National Council, was raised. In response, the PGM (Estt.) assured that the file would be placed before the higher authority for further action. Regarding the payment of DA to casual labourers, Shri S. P. Singh informed that the file has already been submitted to the Director (Finance) for necessary action. The General Secretary also raised the issue of deputation transfer, seeking extension of the deputation period of certain JEs presently posted in UP (West) circle. The PGM (Estt.) assured that the matter would be discussed with the Director (HR) for further guidelines.
