As has already been informed, a meeting is held between the representatives of the AUAB and the DDG(PM), DoT, who is also looking after as the Joint Secretary (Admin), DoT. Some officers of the DoT and Ms. Anita Johri, Sr.GM(SR) were also present in the meeting. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, BSNLEU and other General Secretaries / Representatives of the AUAB attended the meeting. A gist of the discussions is given below for the information of our comrades.

A meeting is held today, between the AUAB and the DoT. Shri Sajeev Gupta, DDG(PM), who is also looking after as the Joint Secretary (Admin.) and other officers participated. BSNL is represented by Ms. Anita Johri, Sr.GM(SR). All the General Secretaries / Representatives of the constituents of the AUAB participated in the meeting. The AUAB had given 7 agenda items for  discussion in this meeting. Detailed discussion is held in a cordial atmosphere.  A note on today’s discussion will be issued by the AUAB shortly.

A meeting will be held tomorrow the 24-11-2021, between the AUAB and the DoT. This meeting will specifically discuss the issues raised by the AUAB in it’s notice for agitation dated 08.07.2021. The AUAB has also given some additional agenda points for this meeting. It is understood that the Joint Secretary (Admin.) will chair tomorrow’s meeting.

बीएसएनएल वर्किंग विमेंस कोओर्डिनेशन कमिटी-BSNLWWCC की व्यक्तिगत उपस्थिति के साथ एक मीटिंग-Physical Meeting दिनांक 11.12.2021 को चेन्नई-Chennai में होगी। मार्च-2020-March-2020 में हुई वडोदरा बीएसएनएलडबल्यूडबल्यूसीसी की मीटिंग-BSNLWWCC की Meeting के बाद आयोजित होने वाली बीएसएनएलडब्ल्यूडबल्यूसीसी-BSNLWWCC की यह पहली व्यक्तिगत उपस्थिति के साथ मीटिंग है। पूरे देश में कोविड-19-COVID-19 की स्थिति में सुधार हुआ है, इसलिए बीएसएनएलडब्ल्यूडबल्यूसीसी-BSNLWWCC के सभी सदस्यों से अनुरोध है कि मीटिंग अवश्य भाग लें । सभी सर्कल सेक्रेटरी-Circle Secretary से अनुरोध है कि वे अपने-अपने सर्कल से बीएसएनएलडब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूसीसी-BSNLWWCC के सदस्यों की उपस्थिति के लिए व्यवस्था करें। केंद्रीय कार्यकारी समिति-Central Executives Committee निर्णय के अनुसार बीएसएनएलडब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूसीसी-BSNLWWCC के सदस्यों का यात्रा व्यय-Travel Expenses सर्कल यूनियनों को वहन करना है। बीएसएनएलडब्ल्यूसीसी के संयोजक-Convenor, BSNLWWCC द्वारा शीघ्र ही इस मीटिंग की अधिसूचना-Notification जारी कर दी जाएगी।

A physical meeting of the BSNL Working Women’s Co-ordination Committee (BSNLWWCC) will be held at Chennai on 11.12.2021. This is the first physical meeting of the BSNLWWCC, to be held after the Vadodara BSNLWWCC meeting, held in March, 2020. Since the COVID-19 situation has improved throughout the country, all the members of the BSNLWWCC are requested to attend this meeting without fail. All circle secretaries are requested to make arrangements for the participation of the BSNLWWCC member from their respective circles. As per the decision of the Central Executive Committee, the travel expenses of the BSNLWWCC members are to be borne by the respective circle unions. The notification for this meeting will be issued shortly by the Convenor, BSNLWWCC.

The circle conference of Kolkata Telephones circle was held in the Calcutta University Institute Hall on 21.11.2021. A presidium consisting of Com.Prabir Data, President and all the Vice Presidents presided over the Conference. The conference started after flag hoisting and paying homage at the Martyr’s column. A brief cultural programme marked the beginning of the open session of the conference. Com.Debashish Dutta Gupta, Chairman, Reception Committee, welcomed everyone.  The open session was inaugurated by Com.P.Abhimanyu, General Secretary. In his speech, the General Secretary gave a brief account of the settlement reached between the AUAB and the BSNL Management. He also explained the status of BSNL’s 4G launching, the attempts being made by the government to hand over the valuable national assets at cheap rates to the corporates, in the name of National Monetisation Pipeline (NMP). He called upon the employees to effectively organise the Co-ordination Committee’s programmes against the NMP and also to vigorously make preparations for successfully organising the two day General Strike, to be held during the budget session of the Parliament, as per the call of the Central Trade Unions. Com.Anadi Sahoo, General Secretary, CITU, West Bengal, addressed the conference. The open session was also addressed by Shri Debashis Sarkar, CGM, Kolkata Telephones, Com.Animesh Mitra, President, BSNLEU, Com.Sanjeeb Banerjee, CS, AIBDPA, Com.Raju Roy, CS, AIBSNLEA, Com.Saikat Das, CS, AIGETOA, Com.Sameer Das, CS, SNATTA, and Com.Shekar Majumdar, CS, NFTE. Veteran leaders of our movement, Com. Pabitra Chakraborty, former AGS, BSNLEU, Com.Mihir Dasgupta, former AGS, BSNLEU and Com.Supriya Mitra, former CS, E-III Union were present on the dias. In the post lunch session, Com.Sisir Roy, Circle Secretary, presented the report on activities.  Audited accounts were presented by the treasurer. Serious deliberations took place in the delegates session. Finally, the General Secretary, replied to the All India level issues raised by the delegates. Com.Sisir Roy, summed up the discussions. Election of office bearers took place unanimously.

An Extended Circle Executive Committee meeting of BSNLEU, NE I circle was held at Shillong on 19.11.2021. Com.D.A. Shylla, Circle President, presided over the meeting. The report on activities was submitted by Com.Shivjee Ray, Circle Secretary. Com.Biswajeet Singh, Circle Treasurer, submitted the financial report. The meeting was addressed by Com.Gopal Das, Circle Secretary, AIBDPA and Com.Swapan Chakraborty, Circle Patron.
