The AUAB has given call to organise a series of agitational programmes, demanding settlement of 3rd Pay Revision to the Executives and 3rd Wage Revision to the Non-Executives. The first phase of this agitation is taking place tomorrow the 27.05.2022. Accordingly, Lunch Hour Demonstrations are to be organised in all places. The circle and district secretaries of BSNLEU are requested to coordinate with other unions and associations of the AUAB and to organise this Lunch Hour Demonstrations successfully. पंजाब सर्कल में जेटीओ एलआईसीई परिणामों की घोषणा में अनुचित देरी :-महासचिव ने कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय में पीजीएम (estt) के साथ मामले पर चर्चा की।

पंजाब सर्कल में JTO LICE परिणामों की घोषणा न करने के मुद्दे पर साथी पी. अभिमन्यु, महासचिव, आज श्री सौरभ त्यागी, पीजीएम (estt) के साथ चर्चा की । महासचिव ने कहा कि JTO LICE के उम्मीदवार पूरी तरह से निराश हैं, क्योंकि यह मामला बहुत लंबे समय से चल रहा है। पीजीएम (estt) ने जवाब दिया कि अदालत के आदेश के कारण पंजाब सर्कल में JTO LICE परिणाम घोषित नहीं किए जा सके। उन्होंने आगे बताया कि JTO LICE परिणाम घोषित करने के लिए न्यायालय की अनुमति की मांग करने वाली बीएसएनएल द्वारा दायर याचिका पर कैट चंडीगढ़ में न्यायाधीश की कमी के कारण सुनवाई नहीं हो रही है। दो जजों की जगह सिर्फ एक ही जज है। पीजीएम ने आगे कहा कि उन्होंने पिछले सप्ताह भी जीएम एचआर, पंजाब सर्कल के साथ इस मुद्दे पर चर्चा की थी।

JE LICE और TT LICE आयोजित करने के बारे में महासचिव ने पीजीएम (Estt.) के साथ चर्चा की है ।

BSNLEU लगातार मांग कर रहा है कि JE LICE और TT LICE तुरंत आयोजन किया जाना चाहिए। इस मुद्दे पर आज कारपोरेट कार्यालय में श्री सौरभ त्यागी, पीजीएम (estt) के साथ महासचिव साथी पी. अभिमन्यु ने चर्चा की। पीजीएम (estt) ने उत्तर दिया कि जहां तक JE LICE का संबंध है सर्किलों को पहले ही विवरण प्रस्तुत करने का निर्देश दिया जा चुका है और कुछ सर्किलों ने अभी भी इसे नहीं भेजा है। महासचिव ने आग्रह किया कि TT LICE भी अविलंब संचालित किया जाए।

बीएसएनएल कोविड फंड समिति के निर्णय।

बीएसएनएल कोविड फंड (बीसीएफ) समिति की आज एक बैठक आयोजित की गई। इसमें साथी पी.अभिमन्यु, महासचिव ने भाग लिया। बैठक में कोविड पीड़ितों के परिवारों को अब तक दी गई राहत का जायजा लिया गया। कोविड फंड में कर्मचारियों का योगदान 11 करोड़ रुपये है। इसी प्रकार बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन का अंशदान भी 11 करोड़ रुपये है। इस प्रकार कोविड फंड में कुल 22 करोड़ रुपये की राशि एकत्रित की गई है। दिनांक 31-03-2022 तक 238 कर्मचारियों की मृत्यु हो चुकी है।  इसमें से 220 कर्मचारियों के परिवारों को प्रत्येक परिवार को 10 लाख रुपये की सहायता राशि प्रदान की गई है। इस प्रकार, एकत्र की गई निधि लगभग समाप्त हो गई है। इसलिए आज की बैठक में 18 और कर्मचारियों के परिवारों को दी जाने वाली राहत के बारे में चर्चा हुई। निम्नलिखित निर्णय सर्वसम्मति से लिए गये हैं :-

1. 18 कोविड पीड़ितों के परिवारों को राहत, जो 1.8 करोड़ रुपये है, बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन द्वारा वहन किया जाएगा।
2. बीसीएफ समिति ने बीसीएफ नीति की अवधि को दिनांक 31-03-2023 तक बढ़ाने का भी निर्णय लिया है ।
3.  जहां तक भविष्य में होने वाली मृत्यु के मामले में भुगतान की जाने वाली राहत का संबंध है, यह निर्णय लिया जाता है कि बीसीएफ समिति तिमाही आधार पर बैठक करेगी और यह निर्णय लेगी कि भुगतान कैसे

BSNLEU is continuously demanding that, the JE LICE and TT LICE should be conducted immediately. This issue was discussed by Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, with Shri Saurabh Tyagi PGM (Estt.) in the Corporate Office today. The PGM (Estt.) replied that, as regards the JE LICE, circles have already been directed to furnish the details and that, some circles have still not sent the same. The General Secretary urged that the TT LICE should also be conducted without delay.

The issue of non-declaration of the JTO LICE results in Punjab circle, was discussed by Com.P. Abhimanyu, GS, today, with Shri Saurabh Tyagi, PGM(Estt.). The General Secretary expressed that, the candidates of the JTO LICE are totally frustrated, since the case is dragging on for a very long time. The PGM(Estt.) replied that, the JTO LICE results could not be declared in Punjab circle, due to the court order. He further told that, the petition filed by BSNL, seeking the permission of the Court for declaring the JTO LICE results,  is not coming up for hearing because of the shortage of judge in CAT Chandigarh. There is only one judge in the place of two judges. The PGM further stated that, he had discussed the issue with the GM HR, Punjab circle, even last week.

A meeting of the BSNL Covid Fund (BCF)Committee is held today. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, participated in it. The meeting took stock of the relief extended so far, to the families of Covid victims. The employees contribution to the Covid fund is 11 crore. Similarly the BSNL Management’s contribution is also Rs.11 crore. Thus the total amount collected in the Covid Fund was Rs.22 crore. 238 employees have died up to 31-03-2022.  Out of this, the families of 220 employees have been provided with relief at Rs. 10 lakh to each family. Thus, the fund collected is almost exhausted. Hence discussion took place in today’s meeting, about the relief to be paid to the families of 18 more employees. The following decisions are taken unanimously:-

1. The relief to the families of 18 Covid victims, which comes to Rs.1.8 crore, shall be borne by the BSNL Management.

2. The BCF Committee also decided to extend the period of the BCF policy up to 31.03.2023.

3. As regards the relief to be paid  in the case of future deaths, it is decided that, the BCF Committee would meet on quarterly basis and will decide how the payment is to be made.

The AUAB has called for agitational programmes for the settlement of Wage Revision and other burning issues of the Executives and Non-Executives of BSNL. The AUAB has called on to organise lunch hour demonstrations on 27.05.2022. The circle secretaries of the constituents of the AUAB, Telangana circle, have met at the AIGETOA office at Hyderabad today and discussed about organising the programme successfully. The CHQ of BSNLEU appreciates the leaders of Telangana circle for taking serious steps to implement the calls of the AUAB.

The BSNL Management has notified to hold a meeting of the BSNL Covid Fund (BCF) tomorrow. The BSNL Covid Fund, which was created from the contribution of one day salary from the employees and the equal amount of contribution from the BSNL Management, is reportedly exhausted. Tomorrow’s meeting will discuss and decide about fund generation for the pending / future Covid deaths.
