As regards the JE pay scale, a false campaign is being done by some mischievous elements. They are trying to paint a picture that, the JE cadre is let down in the matter of Wage Revision. In this connection, BSNLEU wishes to state the following:-
- BSNLEU has already demanded that, the pay scale of JE cadre should be upgraded from NE-9 to NE-10. Letter is already written to the CMD BSNL on 31.12.2021. Again, a letter is written to Shri R.K. Goyal, Chairman of the Wage Negotiating Committee on 26.11.2022. However, a final decision on this matter can be taken only by the BSNL Management.
- Regarding pay scales, the Management Side has reduced the minimum and the maximum of all the pay scales of the Non-Executives. However, the Unions have not accepted this. The Unions are trying to increase the minimum and the maximum of the pay scales. The Management Side is adamant on this matter and a final decision is not yet taken.
Comrades must understand that it is only BSNLEU, which fights to safeguard the interests of the DR JEs. When Shri Manoj Sinha, former Hon’ble Minister of State for Communications, tried to cancel the 2017 batch DR JE selection list, it is only BSNLEU which fought and ensured the appointment of all the selected DR JEs of 2017 batch. It is only BSNLEU which reduced the qualifying service from 10 years to 5 years, for appearing in the JTO LICE.
It is only BSNLEU which fought against the abolition of thousands of JTO posts, in the name of Restructuring.
It is only BSNLEU which is fighting to ensure the Rule-8 transfers of DR JEs. Thus, it is only BSNLEU which is championing the cause of the DR JEs.
But, some mischievous elements are trying to mislead the DR JEs. The welfare of DR JEs is not the interest of these vested interests. They have their own hidden agenda. Hence, DR JEs are requested to be cautious.
