The Co-ordination Committee of BSNLEU, AIBDPA, BSNLCCWF, organised a very enthusiastic convention today. A presidium consisting of Com. S. Basha, Com.M.V. Kuppan and Com.R. Annamalai, presided over. Com.M.Sridharasubramanian, CS, delivered welcome address and initiated the Convention. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, addressed the Convention and spoke elaborately on the demands of Wage Revision, Stagnation, 4G/5G, New Promotion Policy, Review of Restructuring and other issues. Com.S. Chellappa, AGS, BSNLEU and Com.K. Govindaraj, AGS, AIBDPA and Com.T. Kashi, Circle Secretary, BSNLCCWF also addressed the Convention.

पंजाब सर्कल में आयोजित जेटीओ एलआईसीई के परिणामों की घोषणा न होना - बीएसएनएलईयू ने सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को लिखा।

2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17 और 2017-18 के रिक्ति वर्षों के लिए सभी सर्किलों में जेटीओ एलआईसीई आयोजित किए गए थे। इन सभी जेटीओ एलआईसीई के परिणाम पहले ही घोषित हो चुके हैं और सफल उम्मीदवार पहले ही जेटीओ बन चुके हैं। लेकिन, कोर्ट में मामला लंबित होने के कारण पंजाब सर्कल में ऐसा नहीं हुआ। कोर्ट केस 11.10.2023 को समाप्त हो गया है. इसके बाद प्रबंधन ने केवल 2014-15 में आयोजित जेटीओ एलआईसीई का परिणाम घोषित किया है। रिक्ति वर्ष 2015-16, 2016-17 और 2017-18 के लिए आयोजित जेटीओ एलआईसीई के परिणाम अब तक घोषित नहीं किए गए हैं। प्रबंधन का कहना है कि, रिस्ट्रक्चरिंग स्कीम के तहत जेटीओ की रिक्तियां पहले ही खत्म की जा चुकी हैं। यह स्वीकार्य नही है। बाकी सर्किलों को जो भी मौका दिया गया है, उसे पंजाब सर्किल को देने से इनकार नहीं किया जाना चाहिए। बीएसएनएलईयू ने सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को पत्र लिखकर उनके हस्तक्षेप और उपरोक्त रिक्ति वर्षों के परिणामों की शीघ्र घोषणा की मांग की है।

JTO LICEs were conducted in all the circles for the Vacancy Years of 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18. The results of all these JTO LICEs are already declared and successful candidates have already become JTOs. But, this not happened in Punjab circle due to the pendency of a court case. The court case has ended on 11.10.2023. Thereafter, the Management has declared the result of the JTO LICE conducted in 2014-15 only. The results of the JTO LICEs conducted for the Vacancy Years 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18 are not declared so far. Management says that, the JTO vacancies are already abolished under the Restructuring scheme. This is not acceptable. Whatever opportunity given to the rest of the circles should not be denied to Punjab circle. BSNLEU has written letter to the CMD BSNL, demanding his intervention and early declaration of the results for the above mentioned Vacancy Years.  

The Gate Meetings, as per the call of the CoC, has been successfully organised throughout the country. CHQ heartily congratulates the comrades of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF for successfully organising this meeting. Some of the views of the Gate Meetings are given hereunder.

The Government has abolished all the existing 29 Labour Laws and has brought 4 New Labour Codes. All the hard won rights of the working class are taken away. The new 4 Labour Codes are in favour of the corporates and the employers. The All India Centre of BSNLEU has decided to educate our leaders at the All India, Circle and District levels about various aspects of the 4 New Labour Codes. In accordance with this, online classes will be held in English and in Hindi by the CHQ. The details of the class are as follows:-

The English online class will be held at 07:00 pm on 25.01.2024.

The Hindi online class will be held at 07:00 pm on 26.01.2024.

All the Central, Circle and District office bearers should compulsorily attend the class. Interested members of BSNLEU can also attend. The link for these classes will be sent through WhatsApp.

BSNLEU is organising strike on 16.02.2024, demanding settlement of the important issues including Wage Revision, immediate launching of 4G & 5G, implementation of New Promotion Policy, reviewing of the Restructuring of Manpower and other issues. BSNLEU is printing posters which will be despatched to the circles shortly.  Non-Hindi speaking circles may print this poster in the regional languages also. 

The Co-ordination Committee of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF is organising Gate Meetings throughout the country today, highlighting the non-settlement of Wage Revision, Pension Revision, extreme delay in the launching of BSNL’s 4G & 5G and other issues.  Circle and District unions are requested to organise the programme successfully and to send reports and photos of the programme.
