Three-Day dharna programme begins across the country β Regular employees, pensioners and Casual/Contract workers unite to raise their genuine demands.
The three-day dharna programme has commenced in different parts of the country with the participation of regular employees, pensioners, and casual and contract workers. CHQ has received reports that the dharna programmes are being organised at various OAs and BAs by BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF. The major demands include relaxation of the Affordability Clause to facilitate Wage Revision for BSNL employees, Pension Revision, implementation of 7th CPC pay scales for Casual Labourers, and payment of minimum wages to contract workers. The three-day dharna programme, called by the BSNL Coordination Committee, will continue up to 23rd July 2026 to draw the attention of the Government and BSNL Management towards these long-pending and genuine demands.
