BSNLEU CTD Circle Union celebrates Silver Jubilee in Kolkata.

The BSNLEU CTD Circle Union successfully celebrated its Silver Jubilee at Kolkata on 20th July, 2026 with enthusiastic participation of members and well-wishers. Com. P. Abhimanyu, Vice President, Com. Sisir Kumar Roy, Vice President and Com. Animesh Mitra, General Secretary, attended the function. The programme was conducted by Com. Jayanta Ghosh, president of Kolkata Telephones while Com. Shankar Nepal, Circle Secretary, delivered the inaugural address. The CHQ leaders recalled the formation of BSNLEU at Visakhapatnam in 2001 and highlighted the Union's 25-year journey, its achievements and the challenges facing BSNL employees, including issues related to Wage Revision (PRC). They also emphasised the importance of the forthcoming 10th Membership Verification and called upon members to strengthen the union. The celebration began with a colourful cultural programme presented by BSNLEU members. The active participation of AIBDPA and CTTMU members reflected the unity of the BSNL Coordination Committee in Kolkata Telephones. The programme concluded successfully with a houseful gathering and renewed commitment to the unity and struggles of the working class.
