ST employees in Maharashtra circle denied timely NEPP due to Caste Validity Certificate – CHQ writes to Director (HR).

Some ST employees in Maharashtra circle are being deprived of their due NEPP financial upgradation due to the requirement of a caste validity certificate. The issue has been pending for a long time, and the Circle Union has been pursuing the matter with the Circle Administration. Due to the unilateral action of the BSNL Management, these officials are being denied their due financial upgradation, even though their promotions have been withheld. The issue was also raised in the Maharashtra Circle Council meeting. CHQ has drawn the attention of the Director (HR), BSNL, and requested immediate action to grant the due, time-bound NEPP financial upgradation to the serving and retired ST employees by relaxing the condition of vigilance clearance, without any further delay.
