Rule-9 Spouse-Ground Transfer - CHQ seeks retention of JE on humanitarian grounds.

Some officials transferred to their hometowns under Rule-9 on spouse grounds are still awaiting retention in their present OA/BA. CHQ has written to the Director (HR), BSNL, requesting the retention of Shri Brijesh Kumar Singh, JE, Moradabad, who was relieved from Bareilly BA on 02.07.2026 on completion of the two-year tenure under Rule-9. While Himachal Pradesh Circle is presently surplus in the JE cadre, the official is being sent back to his parent Circle. Yesterday, Com. Animesh Mitra, GS, met Shri Rajeev Kumar Kaushik, PGM (SR) and discussed on the subject. Today, CHQ submitted a letter to the Director (HR), requesting immediate action and consideration of the case on sympathetic and humanitarian grounds.
