As per the call of the CoC of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF, lunch hour demonstrations and gate meetings were organised throughout the country today, highlighting the 14 point charter of demands of the Mazdoor Kisan Rally to be organised at New Delhi on 05.04.2023. As per this call, lunch hour demonstrations and gate meetings were organised at GM Office, Pondicherry. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, who is at Pondicherry today, participated in the demonstrations and addressed the gate meeting. In his speech, the General Secretary spoke in detail on the issues of BSNL’s 4G, Wage Revision and Pension Revision. He exposed the anti-Public Sector, anti-working class and pro-corporate policies of the government, with reference to the ongoing exposure of share market frauds of Adani, the Income Tax raid on BBC,etc. He called on the employees to massively participate in the Mazdoor Kisan Rally to be organised at New Delhi on 05.04.2023 and to make it a historic success. 

It has already been intimated that the Coordination Committee (CoC) of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF has taken decision to organise demonstrations and gate meetings tomorrow, in connection with the Mazdoor Kisan rally to be organised at New Delhi, on 05-04-2023. The issues that should be explained in the gate meetings are already sent through Whatsapp message. Circle and district unions are requested to take effective steps to make the programme successful. Reports and photos of the programme may be sent to the CHQ.

सरकार ने बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों के वेज रिवीजन को यह कहते हुए खारिज कर दिया है कि बीएसएनएल घाटे में चल रही है।  लेकिन, बीएसएनएल घाटे में क्यों चल रहा है ?  यह केवल सरकार की नीतियों के कारण है।  मोदी सरकार बीएसएनएल की 4G सेवा के आरंभ में अड़ंगा लगा रही है।  केवल सरकार की बीएसएनएल विरोधी नीतियों के कारण बीएसएनएल अपना 4G सेवा शुरू नहीं कर सका।  लेकिन, तमाम प्राइवेट कंपनियां अपनी 5G सर्विस लॉन्च कर रही हैं।  सरकार की नीति बीएसएनएल को एक बीमार कंपनी में बदलना और उसके बाद इसे अडानी या अंबानी जैसे किसी कॉर्पोरेट को सौंप देना है।  हमें यह नहीं भूलना चाहिए कि कैसे एयर इंडिया को सस्ते दाम पर टाटा के हाथों बेच दिया गया।  सरकार एलआईसी, बैंक, तेल कंपनियों आदि सहित सभी सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र की कंपनियों के निजीकरण के लिए गंभीर कदम उठा रही है। वहीं, भारत के बड़े कॉर्पोरेट सरकार की कॉर्पोरेट समर्थक नीतियों के कारण सुपर प्रॉफिट कमा रहे हैं।  उदाहरण के लिए, 2014 में अडानी दुनिया के सबसे अमीर व्यक्तियों की सूची में 140वें स्थान पर था। लेकिन मोदी सरकार के 9 साल के कार्यकाल में अडानी दुनिया के दूसरे सबसे अमीर व्यक्ति बन गए हैं।  साथ ही मजदूरों, किसानों, खेतिहर मजदूरों, असंगठित मजदूरों आदि को गरीबी में धकेला जा रहा है।  भारतीय सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र की रक्षा के लिए और सरकार की मजदूर विरोधी, जनविरोधी और कारपोरेट समर्थक नीतियों को हराने के लिए मजदूरों और किसानों की एक विशाल रैली (मजदूर किसान रैली) दिनांक 05.04.2023 को नई दिल्ली में आयोजित की जा रही है।  इस रैली में केंद्र सरकार, राज्य सरकार, बैंक, एलआईसी और बीएसएनएल के कर्मचारी भी हिस्सा ले रहे हैं । BSNLEU बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों से इस रैली में व्यापक रूप से भाग लेने का आह्वान करता है।

प्रबंधन ने बनाया जायज मांग का मजाक - BSNLEU ने दिया करारा जवाब ।

BSNLEU ने बीएसएनएल के सीएमडी को पत्र लिखकर मांग की है कि सीधे भर्ती किए गए कर्मचारियों को भी एनईपीपी के तहत पहली और दूसरी पदोन्नति क्रमश: 4 साल और 7 साल के पूरा होने पर, डीओटी से अवशोषित कर्मचारियों के बराबर मिलनी चाहिए। इस मांग को पूरा करने के बजाय, कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय ने  BSNLEU को पत्र लिखकर एनईपीपी के खंड 3.2 को हटाने का प्रस्ताव दिया है।  यह वह खंड है जिसके अनुसार दूरसंचार विभाग से अवशोषित कर्मचारियों को क्रमश: 4 वर्ष और 7 वर्ष पूरा होने पर पहला और दूसरा उन्नयन मिलता है।  प्रबंधन का तर्क यह है कि, डीओटी से अवशोषित सभी कर्मचारियों को पहले ही एनईपीपी के तहत अपना पहला और दूसरा अपग्रेड मिल चुका है और एनईपीपी के खंड 3.2 को जारी रखने की कोई आवश्यकता नहीं है।  प्रबंधन का यह प्रस्ताव जायज मांग का मजाक बनाने के अलावा और कुछ नहीं है। एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स को क्रमश: 4/6 वर्ष और 5 वर्ष पूरा करने पर ईपीपी के तहत उनकी पहली और दूसरी पदोन्नति मिल रही है। यदि नोन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स को एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स के समकक्ष पदोन्नति की मांग करते हैं, तो क्या प्रबंधन ईपीपी के उन खंडों को हटा देगा, जो क्रमश: 4/6 वर्ष और 5 वर्ष पूरा होने पर एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स को पहला और दूसरा उन्नयन देते हैं ?  BSNLEU ने प्रबंधन के प्रस्ताव का कड़ा विरोध किया है। BSNLEU ने एक बार फिर दोहराया है कि सीधी भर्ती वाले कर्मचारियों को भी क्रमश: 4 साल और 7 साल पूरा होने पर पहला और दूसरा अपग्रेडेशन मिलना चाहिए।

Day before yesterday, i.e., on 21.02.2023, BSNLEU wrote letter to the Hon’ble Minister of Communications, regarding the decision of the Karnataka State Government to migrate it’s mobile and other telecom connections from BSNL to Reliance Jio. Based on the decision taken by the Karnataka State government, the Additional Director General of Police of Karnataka state had also taken decision to migrate all the telephone connections of Karnataka Police department to Reliance Jio. It was at this juncture, BSNLEU, wrote letter to the Hon’ble Minister of Communications, with copy of the letter marked to the Secretary, Telecom and CMD BSNL. After BSNLEU wrote letter to the Hon’ble minister of Communications, the CGM and the GM(EB) of Karnataka circle have met the Hon’ble Home Minister of Karnataka state. It is reported that, the Hon’ble Home Minister of Karnataka has assured to act positively on this issue.
