भारत के प्रमुख समाचार पत्र बिजनेस लाइन ने BSNLEU द्वारा वीआरएस का विरोध करने वाले पत्र को व्यापक प्रसिद्धि दी है।

बिजनेस लाइन भारत के प्रमुख समाचार पत्रों में से एक है। इस समाचार पत्र ने आज एक लेख प्रकाशित किया है, जिसमें BSNLEU द्वारा कल सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को लिखे गए पत्र को व्यापक कवरेज दी गई है, जिसमें बीएसएनएल में दूसरे वीआरएस का विरोध किया गया है। बिजनेस लाइन का लेख सभी साथियों की जानकारी के लिए संलग्न है।

FTTH service had been BSNL's major source of income. Public was competing to avail BSNL's FTTH connection because, BSNL's quality of service was superior to the FTTH service of private operators. But, those days are gone. Large scale disconnection of BSNL's FTTH connections is taking place now. BSNL's FTTH customers are fed up with the poor quality of service. This is the result of bad maintenance. BSNL is giving 50% of it's FTTH revenue as commission to the private partners (TIPs) for the provisioning and maintenance of FTTH connections.  BSNLEU has demanded that the provisioning and maintenance of FTTH connections should be taken over by BSNL and that, the TIPs should be disengaged. BSNLEU seriously discussed this issue with BSNL's top Management. But, the demand was rejected. What is the reason? Management told that BSNL is not having sufficient man power to take over the FTTH service. The same Management has now decided to implement 2nd VRS in BSNL. What is the reason? Management says BSNL's man power is surplus. Which is true. BSNL is having surplus manpower or shortage of manpower? This is what we call mismanagement. Why Management should bring VRS when BSNL is having shortage of manpower? BSNL Management's craze for outsourcing is killing BSNL's services.

बीएसएनएल में दूसरा वीआरएस लागू करने का निर्णय वापस लें- BSNLEU ने सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को पत्र लिखा।

विश्वसनीय रूप से ज्ञात हुआ है कि बीएसएनएल निदेशक मंडल ने बीएसएनएल में दूसरा वीआरएस लागू करने के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दे दी है। तर्क दिया जा रहा है कि बीएसएनएल के राजस्व का 38 प्रतिशत हिस्सा कर्मचारियों को वेतन देने में खर्च हो रहा है, जो कि बहुत बड़ी राशि है। बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन और सरकार इस तथ्य को स्वीकार करने से इनकार कर रहे हैं कि 3 रिवाईवल पैकेज लागू करने के बावजूद बीएसएनएल के राजस्व संग्रह में कोई उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि नहीं हुई है। बीएसएनएल की 4G सेवा शुरू करने में अत्यधिक देरी, टीसीएस द्वारा आपूर्ति किए गए 4G उपकरणों की खराब गुणवत्ता, सेवा की खराब गुणवत्ता के कारण एफटीटीएच कनेक्शनों का बड़े पैमाने पर सरेंडर करना, ऐसे कारण हैं जिनकी वजह से बीएसएनएल अपने राजस्व संग्रह में पर्याप्त वृद्धि करने में असमर्थ है। सरकार की गलत नीतियों और बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन की अक्षमता को सुधारने के बजाय, बीएसएनएल के वित्तीय संकट को हल करने के लिए दूसरे वीआरएस को समाधान के रूप में पेश किया जा रहा है। BSNLEU के अनुसार, बीएसएनएल में दूसरे वीआरएस का क्रियान्वयन बीएसएनएल को एक बीमार कंपनी में बदलने और निजीकरण के माध्यम से इसे बड़े कॉरपोरेट्स को सौंपने की तैयारी के अलावा और कुछ नहीं है। बीएसएनएल में मुख्य मान्यता प्राप्त ट्रेड यूनियन होने के नाते, हमने सोचा कि प्रबंधन को यह बताते हुए पत्र लिखना आवश्यक है कि दूसरा वीआरएस बीएसएनएल के लिए पूरी तरह से अनुचित है। BSNLEU ने आज सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को एक विस्तृत पत्र लिखा है, जिसमें मांग की गई है कि बीएसएनएल निदेशक मंडल को बीएसएनएल में दूसरे वीआरएस को लागू करने के अपने फैसले को वापस लेना चाहिए। 

It is reliably learnt that, the BSNL Board of Directors have approved a proposal for implementing 2nd VRS in BSNL. It is being argued that, 38% of BSNL’s revenue is being spent for paying salary to the employees, which is a huge amount. The BSNL Management and the government are refusing to accept the fact that BSNL’s revenue collection has not shown any significant increase, despite implementation of 3 revival packages. Extreme delay in rolling out BSNL’s 4G service, poor quality of the 4G equipments supplied by the TCS, massive surrendering of FTTH connections due to poor quality of service, are the reasons why BSNL is unable to increase it’s revenue collection substantially. Instead of rectifying the wrong policies of the government and the inefficiency of the BSNL Management, 2nd VRS is being projected as the solution for solving BSNL's financial crises. According to BSNLEU, implementation of 2nd VRS in BSNL is nothing but preparation for converting BSNL into a sick company and for handing it over to the big corporates through privatisation. Being the Main Recognised Trade Union in BSNL, we thought that it is necessary to write to the Management, pointing out that the 2nd VRS is totally unwarranted to BSNL. BSNLEU has written a detailed letter to the CMD BSNL today, demanding that the BSNL Board of Directors should withdraw their decisions to implement 2nd VRS in BSNL.
