It is about 2 months passed since the last meeting of Wage Negotiation Committee held on 30th June, 2025. Even, the Management did not convey the decision on the union demand for changing the four pay scales. After pursuing the matter with CMD BSNL and Director (HR), now it has learnt that effective persuasion is going on at appropriate level for holding the meeting without further delay. In this week, Com.Animesh Mitra, GS, met several officers at Corporate Office and conveyed the staff resentment in this regard.

The TUI (Transports, Ports, Fisheries and Communications) under the banner of WFTU has called to observe 8th September 2025 as a day of solidarity and action in support of the heroic people of Palestine. Every day, innocent people in Gaza and the West Bank are suffering under the ongoing genocide and brutal attacks. The BSNL Employees Union, true to its tradition of standing with the toiling people against oppression, will also observe this call with full commitment. Our solidarity with Palestine is not only for their cause, but also for justice, freedom, and dignity of all peoples across the world. Let us unite and make the observance on 08.09.2025, through holding of demonstration / gate meeting at office premises to draw attention of the general public.

Payment of Dearness Allowance for the casual labourers has already sanctioned by the DoP&T in the month of June, 2025. According to it, the casual labourers in BSNL are eligible to get this Dearness Allowance w.e.f. 01.01.2025. The BSNL CCWF had already written a letter to the Management for early payment. Com.Animesh Mitra, GS, BSNLEU, had discussed the matter with Shri S.P. Singh, PGM(Estt.) on 22.08.2025, and requested him for immediate payment. But 8 months passed, the casual labourers are still waiting to get the DA arrear with the salary of August, 2025. Hope, the Management will take some serious action in this regard.

The CEC meeting of BSNLEU, NTR Circle, was held at Eastern Court, yesterday the 26.08.2025. Com. Yougesh Kumar, President, NTR Circle, presided over the meeting while Com.R.S. Chouhan, CS, NTR circle, narrated the message of AIC. CEC members discussed the main problems of the organisational particularly non-holding of council meeting at Circle and SSA level. Members expressed their dissatisfaction about stagnation issues. At the concluding part of the CEC Meeting, the Felicitation programme to Com. Animesh Mitra, newly elected General Secretary was organised by the circle union. Com. Animesh Mitra had narrated all the important issues as it was raised in the CEC meeting. Particularly, he mentioned the present situation related to 3rd PRC and VRS issue. He highlighted the Central Govt. and BSNL Management policies to destroy the BSNL and also to deprived the employees. He called upon the CEC members to strengthen the organisation in NTR in the next Membership Verification.

बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन ने मौजूदा सुपरएनुएशन पेंशन (एसएपी) लाभ को राष्ट्रीय पेंशन प्रणाली (एनपीएस) में बदलने का निर्णय लिया है।

हाल ही में, भारत सरकार ने निर्णय लिया है कि यूपीएस (एकीकृत पेंशन योजना) से एनपीएस (राष्ट्रीय पेंशन योजना) में एकमुश्त, एकतरफा स्विच सुविधा उन सभी केंद्र सरकार के कर्मचारियों को उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी जिन्होंने यूपीएस का विकल्प चुना है। इसी प्रकार, बीएसएनएल में भी, प्रबंधन ने बीएसएनएल में सीधी भर्ती वाले कर्मचारियों के लिए एसएपी को एनपीएस में बदलने का निर्णय लिया है। तदनुसार, 25 अगस्त, 2025 को यूनियनों और एसोसिएशनों के साथ एक बैठक आयोजित की गई थी। वर्तमान में, बीएसएनएल में सीधी भर्ती वाले कर्मचारियों को सुपरएनुएशन पेंशन (एसएपी) द्वारा कवर किया जा रहा है। साथी  अश्विन कुमार, सहायक महासचिव ने उस बैठक में भाग लिया था और इस संबंध में हमारी राय से अवगत कराया था। जीवन बीमा कंपनी (एलआईसी) के प्रतिनिधि को भी स्विच (एसएपी से एनपीएस) के फायदे और नुकसान समझाने के लिए आमंत्रित किया गया था। वर्तमान में, इस SAP प्रणाली में बीएसएनएल द्वारा योगदान की गई राशि का संरक्षक एलआईसी है। हालाँकि, प्रबंधन और एलआईसी अधिकारियों ने इस बदलाव के सकारात्मक पहलुओं को स्पष्ट किया है। यूनियनों और एसोसियेशनों के प्रतिनिधियों ने इस बदलाव और एनपीएस के लाभों के बारे में विस्तृत जानकारी देने का अनुरोध करते हुए अपना पक्ष रखा।
