The Co-Ordination Committee (CoC) of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF had given call for March to the CGM offices, to be organised today the 22-10-2021, on the burning issues of the employees and the pensioners of BSNL. The CoC had also directed to organise human chains, wherever permission is not granted for rallies. The call of the CoC is being implemented throughout the country. The first report has come from Tami Nadu circle union. A massive March to the CGM office, culminating into a human chain and meeting is organised at the CGM office, Tamil Nadu circle in Chennai. Several hundreds of employees have participated in these programmes. Leaders of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF addressed the meeting. 

The circle conference of BSNLEU, Himachal Pradesh, held yesterday the 21.10.2021, has elected an “all-serving-employee” team. The entire team of circle office bearers are serving employees. All the retired circle office bearers, have been replaced. Some among them are the founding leaders of BSNLEU in Himachal Pradesh, like Com.K.C. Panwar (Circle Secretary), Com.Amarjit Singh (Circle President), Com.A.S. Kaundal (Circle Treasurer), Com.B.S. Thakur (Assistant Circle Secretary) and Com.Karamveer Singh (Vice President). They have given way to the serving employees. After the election of office bearers is over, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, gave an emotional send-off to all the above mentioned leaders. He recollected their dedications and sacrifices which have built up strong BSNLEU in Himachal Pradesh circle. The General Secretary told that, the services of all these comrades will ever be remembered by the CHQ.

The Circle Conference of BSNLEU, Himachal Pradesh, is being held at Shaatlaayi, in Hamirpur district. Com.Amarjit Singh, Circle President, is presiding over. Com.K.C. Panwar, Circle Secretary, welcomed everyone and presented the report on activities. Com.A.S.Kaundal, Circle Treasurer, submitted the accounts of the circle union. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, delivered the inaugural address. In his speech, the General Secretary dwelt at length on the issues taken up by the CHQ of BSNLEU, issues related to the revival of BSNL and the agitational programmes of the AUAB, National Monetisation Pipeline, pro-corporate policies of the government, etc. The delegate’s session started after the lunch break and is going on.  

The CEC meeting of BSNLEU, held online on 17.10.2021, discussed the “National Monetisation Pipeline” issue prominently and has taken decisions to effectively campaign against the same. CHQ circular no.5/2021 released today carries the decisions of the CEC. Circle and district unions are requested to implement the decisions effectively. 

The Co-ordination Committee of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNL CCWF will be holding it’s meeting online at 18:00 hrs. on 26.10.2021. The meeting will review the recent agitational programmes organised by the Co-ordination Committee (CoC). The meeting will also discuss the “National Monetisation Pipeline” issue and the actions to be taken thereon.
