BSNLEU के रजत जयंती समारोह 22 मार्च, 2026 को आरंभ होंगे, जो यूनियन के स्थापना दिवस का प्रतीक है। इस मील के पत्थर वाले वर्ष को पूरे देश में, सभी सर्किलों और जिलों में कार्यक्रमों के साथ मनाया जाएगा। दिल्ली में उद्घाटन समारोह यूनियन कार्यालय, दादाघोष भवन में आयोजित किया जाएगा, जिसमें ध्वजारोहण और एक सेमिनार शामिल होगा; यह कार्यक्रम ठीक सुबह 10:30 बजे शुरू होगा। आस-पास के सर्किल यूनियनों, जिनमें NTR, कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय, हरियाणा, उत्तर प्रदेश (पश्चिम), उत्तर प्रदेश (पूर्व) और राजस्थान शामिल हैं, से अनुरोध है कि वे केंद्रीय मुख्यालय के कार्यक्रम में सक्रिय रूप से भाग लें और सदस्यों को इसके लिए प्रेरित करें। इस ऐतिहासिक अवसर को चिह्नित करने के लिए सीएचक्यू  ने एक पैम्फलेट जारी किया है, जिसमें पिछले 25 वर्षों में BSNLEU की उपलब्धियों और सफलताओं पर प्रकाश डाला गया है। सर्किल सचिवों से अनुरोध है कि वे इस संदेश का स्थानीय भाषाओं में अनुवाद करें और इसे सदस्यों के बीच प्रसारित करें। सभी इकाइयों को प्रोत्साहित किया जाता है कि वे पूरे वर्ष रजत जयंती समारोहों को सफलतापूर्वक और सार्थक रूप से आयोजित करने के लिए पूरी निष्ठा से प्रयास करें। सीएचक्यू  का संदेश प्रसार के लिए संलग्न है।

The physical All India Centre meeting of BSNLEU, held on 10th March 2026, has taken significant decisions on key organisational and policy matters. The detailed circular regarding these decisions has already been issued by CHQ and has been sent to all Circle and District Secretaries by post. The meeting was presided over by Com. M. Vijayakumar, President, with the participation of all Committee members. Important issues discussed in the meeting included 10^th Membership Verification, Silver Jubilee Celebrations, BSNLWWCC All India Convention, re-election of UP (West) Circle, campaign against Government attacks, declining service quality of BSNL, reduction of manpower, functioning of AUAB and pending Circle Conferences. All Circle and District Secretaries are requested to implement the decisions and programmes effectively at the grassroots level, ensuring active involvement of members and strengthening the organisation.

The Silver Jubilee celebrations of BSNLEU will commence on 22^nd March 2026, marking the Foundation Day of the Union. This milestone year will be observed with programmes throughout the country across all circles and districts. The inaugural function in Delhi will be held at Union Office, Dadaghosh Bhawan, featuring Flag Hoisting and a Seminar, starting sharply at 10:30 AM. Nearby circle unions including NTR, Corporate Office, Haryana, UP (West), UP (East) and Rajasthan are requested to actively participate and mobilise members for the Central Headquarters programme. To mark this historic occasion, CHQ has released a pamphlet highlighting the achievements and successes of BSNLEU over the past 25 years. Circle Secretaries are requested to translate and circulate this message in local languages among members. All units are encouraged to take earnest efforts to ensure the Silver Jubilee celebrations are conducted successfully and meaningfully throughout the year. Message of the CHQ is enclosed for wide circulation.

An important meeting of the BSNL Coordination Committee was held on 09.03.2026 at New Delhi. It has been decided to organise a Dharna at BA level on 23^rd March 2026 on burning issues concerning BSNL employees, casual contract workers and pensioners. The detailed circular and pamphlet are being circulated. All Circle and District Secretaries of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF are requested to ensure wide publicity and mobilisation. Let us unite and make the programme a grand success.

As discussed in the BSNL Working Women Coordination Committee (BSNLWWCC), the CHQ has forwarded the notice issued by the Convenor, BSNLWWCC, to all Circle Secretaries of BSNLEU for wide circulation among the committee members at the circle level. A poster as well as a circular is also being sent to all Circle Secretaries by speed post. All Circle Secretaries are requested to take appropriate action to ensure that the poster and circular are effectively distributed among the working women employees in BSNL.

The Establishment Section has announced that there are around 1,503 vacancies in the JTO cadre across various circles. As per the notification issued by the Corporate Office vide letter No. BSNLCO-A/16(11)/1/2026-ESTAB dated 17.03.2026, regarding the status of recruiting circles as on 01.01.2026, the total sanctioned strength in the JTO cadre is 11,756, while the working strength stands at 10,253. Although a surplus in the JTO cadre has been identified in five circles, there are about 1,503 vacancies spread across 24 circles throughout the country. Though, in connection with the Rule-8 transfer cases, the Establishment Section has assessed the sanctioned strength and working strength of the JTO cadre in different circles. As per this notification, five circles have been identified as surplus in the JTO cadre. However, the Corporate Office can take proactive steps to fill a significant number of these vacancies through departmental examinations for the JEs without further delay. At the same time, the department should also explore an alternative mechanism for the JE candidates who are being deprived of the opportunity to appear in the LICE in certain circles due to the declared surplus strength.

It is most unfortunate that the BSNL Management has suspended all types of sports activities within the organisation. Additionally, practice time for players during duty hours has been curtailed, adversely affecting the morale and performance of sports personnel. It is also observed that the Management has not convened the Sports Board meeting, seemingly to avoid discussion on this important issue. This matter had already been raised by BSNLEU in the National Council and in formal meetings held during 2025. Once again, on 17.03.2026, BSNLEU wrote to the CMD BSNL, urging immediate action to convene the Sports Board meeting. This is essential to enable representatives to present and discuss the genuine demands and grievances of sports personnel. BSNLEU has sincerely urged the Management to take prompt action to restore sports activities and to convene the Sports Board meeting at the earliest. This step is crucial to address the concerns and legitimate demands of sports personnel.

बीएसएनएल समन्वय समिति 23 मार्च, 2026 को धरना आयोजित करेगी.

BSNLEU, AIBDPA और BSNLCCWF की समन्वय समिति की बैठक, जो 08.03.2026 को हुई थी, ने 23 मार्च, 2026 को बीए स्तर पर देशव्यापी धरना आयोजित करने का निर्णय लिया है। यह धरना बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों, पेंशनभोगियों और संविदा/अस्थायी कर्मचारियों को प्रभावित करने वाले प्रमुख मुद्दों को उजागर करेगा, जिनमें शामिल हैं :

- वेतन संशोधन
- पेंशन संशोधन
- पेंशन का सत्यापन
- बीएसएनएल पर राष्ट्रीय मुद्रीकरण पाइपलाइन का प्रभाव
- कर्मचारियों की संख्या में कटौती
- संविदा और अस्थायी कर्मचारियों पर हमले

सभी सीईसी सदस्यों से अनुरोध है कि वे नियमित कर्मचारियों, पेंशनभोगियों और संविदा/अस्थायी कर्मचारियों को भारी संख्या में जुटाकर इस कार्यक्रम का आयोजन करें।
