The meeting of the Co-ordination Committee of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF, held online on 07.10.2024, has decided to organise demonstrations on 25.10.2024 and district level dharna on 27.11.2024, demanding immediate settlement of Wage Revision, Pension Revision, expeditious launching of BSNL’s 4G & 5G services and stiffly opposing the 2^nd VRS. The CoC has also demanded settlement of the issues of the casual and contract workers. In view of this, the circle and district secretaries of BSNLEU are requested to immediately coordinate with AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF and successfully organise the demonstration programme on 25.10.2024.   

Demands

1. Immediate settlement of wage revision and pension revision.
2. Expeditious launching of BSNL’s 4G and 5G services.
3. Stiff opposition to 2nd VRS.
4. Implementation of minimum wage, EPF and ESI for the contract workers.
5. 7th CPC pay-scale and payment of 2 instalments of DA for the casual labourers.

General Secretary, BSNLEU, has continuously appealed to the CMD BSNL, the Director (HR) and the Chairman of the Wage Negotiating Committee to break the deadlock prevailing in the Wage Negotiating Committee, by implementing the pay scales of the Non-Executives, which are already finalised in the Committee meeting held on 27th July, 2018. He has also requested the Chairman of the Wage Negotiating Committee and the PGM(SR) to convene an early meeting of the Wage Negotiating Committee. Today, the Corporate Office has issued notification for holding the next meeting of the Wage Negotiating Committee on 23.10.2024. All the BSNLEU members of the Wage Negotiating Committee are requested to participate in the meeting without fail.

BSNLEU ने निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) और प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर (एसआर) से आग्रह किया है कि वे यथाशीघ्र अगली नेशनल काउंसिल मीटिंग आयोजित करें। दोनों ने मीटिंग शीघ्र आयोजित करने पर सहमति व्यक्त की है। इसे देखते हुए BSNLEU ने आज प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर (एसआर) को अपनी नेशनल काउंसिल आइटम्स प्रस्तुत की हैं। BSNLEU द्वारा प्रस्तुत नेशनल काउंसिल आइटम्स की एक प्रति सभी साथियों के संदर्भ के लिए संलग्न है।

BSNLEU has insisted upon the Director (HR) and the PGM (SR) to hold the next National Council meeting as early as possible. Both of them have agreed to hold the meeting at an early date. In view of this, BSNLEU has submitted its National Council items to the PGM (SR) today. A copy of the National Council items submitted by BSNLEU  are enclosed for the reference of our comrades.

As all comrades are aware, BSNLEU is continuously knocking the doors of the CMD BSNL, Director (HR) and the Chairman, Wage Negotiating Committee, for an early finalisation of the Wage Revision agreement. BSNLEU has also firmly informed all the aforementioned officers that the Non-Executive pay scales already finalised on 27.07.2018 should be implemented. Under these circumstances, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, discussed the issue of conducting the next meeting of the Wage Negotiating Committee, with Ms. Anita Johri, PGM(SR). It was replied by the PGM(SR) that effort would be taken to hold the Wage Negotiating Committee meeting in the 4^th week of October, 2024.

Some time ago, the Corporate Office issued a letter in connection with the merger of four circles. In that letter, it had been mentioned that a Committee had been formed to look into the merger of Kolkata circle with West Bengal circle and Tamil Nadu circle with Chennai Telephones circle. At that time, BSNLEU has written letter to the Management stating that, no unilateral action should be taken on this issue, without consulting the Recognised Unions. On 08.10.2024, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, discussed this issue with Ms. Anita Johri, PGM (Restg. & WSI). It was categorically replied by the PGM (Restg. & WSI) that, it was an old issue and presently there was no proposal to merge the circles as mentioned above.

ड्राफ्ट्समैन कैडर के लिए स्पेशल जेटीओ एलआईसीई का आयोजन न होना - BSNLEU ने  चीफ जनरल मैनेजर (बीडब्ल्यू) को लिखा पत्र।

ड्राफ्ट्समैन कैडर के लिए स्पेशल जेटीओ एलआईसीई का आयोजन कई वर्ष पूर्व नेशनल काउंसिल में लिया गया निर्णय है। हालांकि, परीक्षा आयोजित नहीं की गई है और इसका कारण यह बताया जा रहा है कि चीफ जनरल मैनेजर (बीडब्ल्यू) ने एस्टेब्लिशमेंट शाखा को रिक्तियों का विवरण नहीं भेजा है। साथी पी. अभिमन्यु, महासचिव ने एक माह पूर्व श्री परमेश्वरी दयाल, चीफ जनरल मैनेजर (बीडब्ल्यू) से मुलाकात कर इस मुद्दे पर चर्चा की थी। उस समय चीफ जनरल मैनेजर (बीडब्ल्यू) ने एक माह के भीतर एस्टेब्लिशमेंट शाखा को रिक्तियों का विवरण भेजने का आश्वासन दिया था। हालांकि, आज तक इसे नहीं भेजा गया है। इसलिए, BSNLEU ने श्री परमेश्वरी दयाल, चीफ जनरल मैनेजर (बीडब्ल्यू) को पत्र लिखकर रिक्तियों का विवरण तत्काल भेजने का आग्रह किया है।
